  1. Checked the CAS after I did the timing belt. I'll check the O2 sensor and leaks tomorrow.
  2. Hey guys, went to an SAUWA Dyno Day today, and the dyno print out showed some interesting results. The A/F ratio dived down below 10:1 and sat on the bottom of the graph for he magority of the run. The owner of the workshop had a look at it and reckons something is seriously wrong with it. Would explain the fuel usage recently. Any ideas what might be causing it? I would take it back to the workshop, but I dont trust them touching my car. No offence to them. The car is a 1996 R33 GTSt with high flow turbo, full exhaust, intercooler, remapped ECU, stock BOV, Spitfire coil packs, 18psi through a Greddy Profec B Spec II. Any ideas? Rhys
  3. Going to be a little different here... R34 GT-R wheels powdercoated black without centre caps would be my choice.
  4. Big thanks to the Autoworx team! Been a while since I've done anything with SAUWA, but had a ball! Shame about the heat though, 258hp is a bit lower then usual
  5. Suits me, thanks mate! See you all tomorrow.
  6. Damn stupid internet banking shit!! I cant transfer the money because I need some password thing, which gets sent to your phone, which they wont resend to you, and mine just so happen to be on my iPhone which has been in getting repaired for 4 FKN MONTHS!!! Anyway, Paul is there a way I can drop the money off to you in person? Either come to your work or home sometime before Sunday? My number is 0431681965, give us a call and we can hook something up. Sorry mate
  7. Drifteks would look cool! And as far as copies go, they are fairly decent. Just change them before going 4WDing! Lol
  8. Thank god those rims dont exist any more... Whiteline make good parts, and are Australian owned.
  9. My car came with a NISMO H-pattern sticker on the corner of the gear surround. I absolutely hate it! And I doubt you'll get stickered for not having it.
  10. Have you got a picture of your car without the badges?
  11. Those exhausts look sick! Nice work mate! How much work left until we can see it on the track?
  12. Might throw up a picture of the garage to make you all a bit jealous...
  13. Mucking around while fixing my mates R32 drift car. His dad is drifting the white VU SS ute above. I'm still learning, so any critisism is more then welcome!
  14. You can have recliners in 2 door cars with back seats. In an accident, the occupants need to be able to be able to get out quickly.
  15. Not quite. Some are legal, some arent. In a 2 door car, you cant have fixed bucket seats if you have rear seats. Harnesses are illegal altogether. As for head checks, depends on your car. One of my mates have Autotecnica seats in his GT4 race car, pretty much a fixed back version of the R34 GTR seats. Head checks are pretty easy in it. Another of my mates has a OMP fixed back racing seat in his drift car, like the V8 Super Cars have, and no way in hell can you do a head check in that thing. Driving it on the street was an absolute prick. He now takes it to the track on a car trailer. Try out your seats before you buy them and make sure you have do head checks easily.
  16. Just be aware that behind the GT badges are small holes, so you'll need to get them filled.
  17. Get rid of the red on the mud flaps, 5%-18% window tint, tint the side indicators or get clear ones, black silicon hoses in the engine bay, and ceramic coat the down pipe. It'll look smick! Better then it does now, it thats possible! Lol
  18. Does it help handling/cornering at all? I'll be getting a new daily soon, so the car will only be driven every second weekend or so.
  19. I need new boots for my tie rod ends on my R33, so I was thinking instead of doing just the boots, get improved aftermarket tie rod ends. Do they exist? I've seen them on S13s before... Otherwise, try a 2nd hand jap wrecker. They should have some standard ones
  20. Keep the 2 GTR badges, or at least the rear badge and the 1970's GTR badge on the front (looks beautiful!) then get rid of everything else. And if ou want to go a little further, shave the side GT badges, aerial, rear wiper blade, and anything else thats in the way. Add maybe 1 or 2 club stickers, and you'll be good to go! Like Cam said, through on some nice simple rims (not Drifteks, too heavy and shit. LMGT4 instead) and you'll be laughing!
  21. No, really...
  22. It was taken for an HPI shoot, which still happens to be my favourite issue of HPI solely because it was on the cover. I've see that picture so many times on this forum, but I'd spread it around as much as he does if it were my car! Lol
  23. Thats with a tripod? Nicely done! I tried taking some pics of Perth resting the camera on stuff, but didnt work So jealous of your skills
  24. Flaugh, I saw you had a 2002 model and realised yours is Series 2. The real differences are the front bar and trim, so yeah the bars are interchangable. The standard S1 bar is pretty boring IMO, so maybe try the NISMO bar?
  25. GTR has wider guards, so a GTSt bar wont be wide enough unless you stretch it. Not sure how well that would work though
