  1. I think the main reason is if he has Brembos on the front, it'll look a bit weird with standard calipers on the rear, so with the STi callipers its the same all the way around. And I think it is a track car, but its the sexiest damn track car I've ever seen!
  2. Teo, any window place would be good really. As long as they have the window you need. Let me know how you go, because I need mine replaced very soon as well! As for the scratches, sorry Nic but Teo is right. It is the pads wearing out, so the window will need replacing. Again, I have the same thing... I've never done a window in a Skyline, but I've fitted one to a Mitsubishi Express van and I hated it... I was a 1st year apprentice at the time and took 30mins to work out how the f**k it went back together. Might be a little easier now.
  3. GTR all the way man. THey look fkn tough, and Skylines are so reliable. I compare mine to the Mazda's I work on all day, and there is no comparison. Even though mine has done 155,000kms! 34s are nice cars, but the GTR will always get more looks. Then tint the windows dark so they cant see the "tool"
  4. I'm pretty sure thats Subie's car. Possibly my favourite 32 ever!
  5. Nice build man, but why start with the GT-four? Wouldnt a GTR be cheaper? Comes with brakes, suspention, exterior and interior differences as well?
  6. I have one, but its set to 0. Previous owner decided a remapped factory was better. I'm planning on doing some work and getting the Interceptor retuned for ome extra power.
  7. There isnt a need for bonnet pins on a steel bonnet, only fibreglass or carbonfibre
  8. I like that shot of Danny's S15! Nice work. Good job with the others as well.
  9. Dont the STI rears bolt straight up? Is there anything stopping you from using those?
  10. From afar: Close up: And the tinted tail lights:
  11. Worn bearings perhaps?
  12. Check plugs, but most likely coil packs. Do a search, very very very very very common problem.
  13. The same mate with the tinted tail lights also tinted his standard front lights. Looked really good considering he did it with them on the car, 3 days after it was painted, 2 hours before the Perth Auto Salon... Looked very smoked when off, and obviously orange when on. He also took the car over the pits 3 times like that, and passed everytime.
  14. I kinda agree with you there Chris. Guys, he asked a question that wasnt really answered. Yeah, he could have added a bit more info into the first post, but you all started flaming about the cost before you realised. Besides, building the car is half the fun, especially considering you two are bonding over it. Wish I could do this with my dad Good luck man, I dont agree with the motor thing, but thats just me
  15. R32 GTR should have been in that documentary, because as a sports car, its the best one out of all of them. Having said that, I chose the 33 out of reliability (not as old), looks, and price. Still, would take a 33 GTR over a 32 GTR. In the end, its personal opinion. Everyone's is different
  16. Please dont get the smoked rear! My mate had them on his 34, and it looked like absolute shit. Got stickered within a week. The standard ones look much better anyway. Although standard coloured LED tail lights look the best imo.
  17. Pretty much the same colour as yours Interesting colour, definately attracts attention! Needs rims though, as has already been said.
  18. Yeah, check that. Because you do look like you're constantly braking
  19. Silver looks good, but red looks the best imo.
  20. That looks awesome mate, well done! Any chance of a quick how-to? I might give it a go sometime.
  21. That's Ryan (NISZILLA). I'll try and find some pics of it. Nice car, and well thought out mods.
  22. Dont think they do. Although someone on here had their destroyed CF bonnet replaced with a standard one through insurance.
  23. That looks awesome man, cant wait to see it in the flesh! You dont need a licence to race, get a mate to drive it down for you. I dont want to wait until the new year
  24. Low compression could just be a melted valve, so only the head needs doing which lowers the price a lot. You won't know for sure until you pull it off though.
