  1. I dont mean to be a 'one eyed Webber fan' but if you look closely he actually takes his hands off the wheel and the impact with the wall with the front LHS turns the wheel, he then rolls across the track. So he didnt steer that way intentionally. Not sure why he didn't brake though, I agree he probably should have. But maybe he pulled his feet away at the time of impact as well and by the time he put them back he was already back across the track so had to ride it out? Not sure on what drivers do with their feet in crashes normally?
  2. Webber accused of deliberately coming across the track to take out another car: http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8113846 I don't buy it. Anyone else? And I still think RBR should be backing Webber at this point even though he's had a brain snap he's still most likely to take the title with only two races to go. Even if Vetool is faster he should be moving aside for Webber if RBR want the drivers title.
  3. Amp & Sub in the Boot: (and yes I have installed another fuse in the engine bay near the Battery for the stereo) Front Looks just as good as it does here still, just with black wheels with centre caps removed and black wheel nuts

Car serviced recently by Rotary Motorsport, and tuned there also. Made 200rwkw on high boost, I have the dyno sheet somewhere if required. Even though the car has a 3" exhaust its actually pretty quiet and easily below legal db requirements. Doesnt intrude into the cabin much, but still sounds great. Drives great, the lowered springs made the car feel heaps better without making it overly stiff over bumps. The car gets heaps of looks without getting hassled by the cops (I do drive sensibly too which probably helps!) Also features: Xenon Headlights 4 Airbags (Driver & Passenger + two Side Airbags) Traction Control ABS Climate Control Air Conditioning Negatives: Has a small scratch on the front bumper, and blemish on the rear bar. A few very small chips in the paint (barely noticeable but i'm being honest) Drivers side window has a broken clip on the rail which can sometimes pop out. Easy to fix just haven't got around to replacing it yet. Contact Details: PM or post and I'll PM my number or email to those with genuine interest Location: Brisbane Northside Delivery & Conditions of Delivery: Pickup I'll get some better current pictures up soon (if it ever stops raining!) and some of the stereo / interior too I'm in no rush to sell so please no silly offers, also NOT interested in trades thanks. I think thats it! Cheers for looking
  5. Google Lucy Pinder beach and you'll find it... That'll be $20 thanks
  6. Did you get the free Case? Supposed to help reception issues. http://www.apple.com/au/iphone/case-program/ It's the first thing i'll be doing when mine gets delivered. I was on the waiting list with 3 a week before the release date, got a text to say come in on Friday, signed up and they said it should arrive in the next week or two but I got a text saying its already been sent so I'm expecting it this week. Just getting a black 16gb Keen as to get a new phone, sick of my ancient POS atm
  7. Hi peoples, Anyone seen these before? What do you think? My brother just sent me the link, I think they're kinda cool so thought i'd share. They are a bit expensive...but I want a GTR one. Not sure if you can get them in Aus though External HDDs http://www.flashrods.com/frs/Flash_Rods_Hard_Drives.html USB Flash Drives http://www.flashrods.com/frs/Flash_Rods_Ma...Euro-Asian.html
  8. Thats what I was thinking. Looked like HK broke early, or at least much earlier than Webber had intended to and thats what caught him out. Not an unreasonable assumption given the 4-5 seconds/lap speed difference. Still I think Webber could've been more cautious in his attempted overtake. He probably assumed HK would just move over and let him through but was mistaken as they were actually 'racing for position' at the time Still, cool flip. Had my heart pumping just watching it. Glad he was ok, would've hated to see Webber injured and out for an extended period in his best year to date
  9. Have you checked that your alternator is charging the battery when its running? Sounds sort of like your battery died, so you put a new one in and it started, then because its not getting charged its slowly losing voltage. And turning things on like lights etc just drained it quicker and now the new one is flat hence the click click grind... Just my 2c, good luck
  10. Then the team makes "Danger to manifold" flash up on his steering wheel, then the floorpan falls off ...that stuff really happens...right? P.S I think the Vetool tag is going to stick, I like it. He needs to be a man and face the fact he made a mistake!
  11. It made the warmup lap, got taken out before the start, then died behind the 1st safety car I believe P.S Long time reader first time poster in here. Hi everyone P.P.S. I think Vettel is great but I LOVE seeing him so frustrated when Webber out drives him lol Go Webber
  12. I have a Catco cat on mine, polished one with the 3" Inet and 5" body and it bolted straight up. Same flange configuration as the standard cat. As long as you order the right cat you should be fine
  13. I had one of these exact turbo's on my FC Rx7 (13bt) and it was awesome. I was only running 14psi but it was a rocket and ran 117mph (189km/h) 2nd pass at willowbank with me having major traction issues and having to back off in the top end. This is a pretty good price, especially with the oil lines included. I'm suprised no one has picked this up yet! Maybe your location might help sell it? Couldn't see it here but I might have missed it. Or you could try advertising it on Ausrotary? Might be more guys there who could use it. Good luck with your sale
  14. Thankyou very much for this post Troy, it made things much easier for me taking off my drivers side door trim to fix my window. Saved me having to figure it out I hope you don't mind but I've taken a couple of pics for the Drivers side door just incase anyone else was wondering about how to do it even though its pretty much the same. And also how to get the switchplate out. Oh yeah, just a quick heads up for others taking off their trim. Those clips that you push the centre in, be careful not to push too hard as it will go all the way through and fall inside the door skin. Can be a pain to find them in there. Other than keeping that in mind its very simple job to get the trim off
  15. They've already done a review of one of these on Top Gear UK Series 14 ep7, Hammond does it. Clarkson says it sounds like an old F1 car Awesome car, I just wish I knew how long it took to rev from idle to redline!?
  16. Sounds alot like a coil pack problem, have a search for those topics and compare what going on for you. Might help. My car did a similar thing to yours and that was what fixed it for me. Splitfires.
  17. You need to take out the centre air vents to get access to the two screws holding the top of the whole climate control cage bit. Because there are 4 screws in total to take out the cage, two at the top two at the bottom. To get the vents out use a small flat blade screwdriver and lever (very gently so as not to mark) the vents out from the left. There's no clips, it sort of holds itself in by a tight fit basically. And undo the connector for the Hazard lights to pull it away completely. And you'll see the two screws at the top of the cage to take out. Also once you have the vents out as said there are two screws I think holding in the 3 gauge cluster, take them out and lift out and unplug that part. Easy.
  18. You're right we bolted the MDF board at the top on either side, and the bottom of the board sits behind the lip on the step. The two bolts hold it in very securely, and is easy to take out. Yes the fuse is the one for the battery and the battery is in the engine bay still. Thanks for pointing this out, we were going to put it in the engine bay orignially but decided to put it in the boot for aesthetic reasons, but didnt think about it enough obviously. We'll be putting one in the engine bay now too very soon. On the use of space, I've found where it is to be pretty good actually. I never used the shelf part of the boot anyway and the amp doesnt stick out very much at all beyond that point. I could have mounted the amp on the inside of the board but I wanted to show it off a little. And the Sub is really quick and easy to grab out too if I need the space. Putting the board back any further would have just made things so much more difficult and time consuming it just didnt make sense for a nothing space. The gap behind it is good for hiding the extra length of wiring too. And none of it is anywhere near the computer gear for the car either. Cheers.
  19. I've got KU36's on my car and they grip better than I expected in the wet, I don't see a reason to avoid driving in the wet because of them. You need to be careful in the wet on any tyre really. Plus they have soooo much more grip compared to my old Federal 595-SS in the dry, they're even pretty good in the wet on power down (although I only have 200rwkw) I havent had them on for very long though so am still waiting to see how long they last. I was told guys with big power Supra's have got up around 15,000km out of them though. If I can get that I'll be happy.
  20. My mate and I made up a false backing from MDF then carpeted it, and drilled out holes for the wiring where the step at the back of the boot is to mount the amp to. Was alot of work but it worked out well as it looks neat, is out of the way and hides most of the wiring This is it:
  21. FD Rx7 for sure and +1 for all the other cars so far too
  22. I'm no expert but it might be your file system type. I had the same problem with a USB stick I had. Is the External HDD in FAT32? Pretty sure FAT32 can only transfer files up to 4gb at a time. Needs to be NTFS to transfer bigger files. But be careful cause NTFS has problems with Macs if you plan on using the HDD on a Mac. Maybe just google your problem? If you dont want to convert it you could try moving the DVD's over to the Ext HDD in smaller segments ie <4gb at a time. But that would be annoying
  23. Seems pretty low, I think you may be calculating wrong. eg. Should be 47.5/351 x 100 = 13.53Lt/100km, which to me sounds right. Still not bad Try using this to make it easier: http://www.accommodationz.co.nz/economycalculator.html
