  2. I'd be in for one of those design'd shirts for sure Look sweet Rad32, Just wanted to check, Did you get my PM about the Name change on one of the shirts?? Name should read D2 NOT D1. Cheers
  3. I'm not on that list, I've paid but it won't clear for a day or so because i'm with the commonwealth bank. I already PM'd you the details. Cheers
  4. The N15 Pulsar with the MRILLUMINATOR as the name, took me a second to figure it out too Was too obvious
  5. I put though a heap of votes for you, Good Luck
  6. Just thought i'd post how my car is going now. I had some Splitfire coils and Iriduim plugs put in 2 weeks or so ago(along with Profec B + SAFC Neo while i was at it ) and i haven't had a problem since, hasn't lit up any of those warning lights and hasn't missed at all. Only now very rarely the HICAS light will come on after i've put my foot down on high boost, which it never did before. Not sure what it is but i'm sure its nothing. The car is heaps more fun to drive now, doesn't feel so gutless like before. Had it tuned on 12psi tapering off to 9.5psi towards redline, made 186rwkw which is not too bad, gotta go back to Willowbank now to see what it can really do any excuse will do!
  7. Hahahaha Come on, by the time Ben's car is ready Apes will rule the earth
  8. The ABS light didn't come on with mine either the first couple of times. I'll post up if/when I find a fix for this Yeah thanks, i'll check the fuses. The Voltage is fine though from the battery, sitting at about 14.7v all the time. All the connections seem fine too, I checked all that straight away. Hopefully I have the time to check it all out this weekend
  9. To check the error codes dont you need a specific computer or something? I've tried looking up the DIY of it but cant find it. I'll give that coilpack load balance test a go though. I just get the feeling it will be them for some reason. I wouldn't mind getting Splitfire coils anyway, so hopefully its just them. Cheers
  10. I had my car idling in the driveway warming up before work in the morning and it was all normal, then suddenly the 'tcs off' , 'slip' and Check engine lights came on. And at the same time the idle was briefly rough but went back to normal. I checked around the engine bay for loose hoses or connections but couldn't see anything wrong. Was in a rush so had to drive it to work and it drove fine(but with the check lights on). When I got to work I turned the car off, then back on again, the check engine light was gone(the other 2 were still on). Turned it off, and back on, and all the check lights were gone. I figured the computer had played up and it was nothing so didn't follow up on it. Then a couple of weeks later it did the same thing. Still couldn't find anything wrong. Left it.... Then today as i went to drive off to work it happened again and this time felt a bit rough and was popping a bit at times. Also the 'ABS' light came on this time too. It was nearly like it was running down a cylinder. Once the car warmed up properly though it went away again and drove fine...Didnt happen on the way home at all again either. The car has recently had a service and had engine/diff/gearbox oil+filter replaced, fuel filter replaced. And had supposedly had its 100k service b4 I bought it and it has 113k kms on it now. Before today its been driving fine and actually been pretty good on the fuel too if that helps. Any ideas on what to start checking? Loose connections? Coils? O2 Sensor? Fuel pump? Any help would be appreciated, Cheers.
  11. Ok sweet thanks for the info, I've never looked it up or had it explained to me. That was just my understanding and was obviously wrong. Was just going off my experience, in my old rx7 i put a heavy duty clutch in cause my stocker was slipping but the new one felt exactly the same and still slipped anyway....brass button after that!...even that was pretty light under foot, but never, ever slipped
  12. No a heavy duty clutch just means there's more 'meat' to wear off. You pressure plate is what changes the clamping power of the clutch and therefore pressure of the pedal. The pedal will still feel the same Correct me if i'm wrong anyone
  13. Has anyone got the pics for a walkthrough to remove the dash to put in LED's on an R34 GT-T? I've been searching but can't find any pics. I'm not sure if I have to remove the entire dash (like on that r32 in a previous post) ? If thats whats needed i'm getting someone else to do it! I've taken the dash out of a mate's CE lancer and it was piss easy, this seems way more complicated....
  14. Maybe he means it does 0-100kmh in 10.9secs now?? haha I've been in one of the new MX-5's and yeah awesome handling, similar to the RX-8's only smaller, but totally guttless in the engine comartment. We gave a mate in a v6 VN commadore a run and got beaten!....
  15. Price Drop $40 Someone buy this already and get it out of my garage!
  16. I think what aphid means is that its stock INTERNALLY and has only bolt on mods, as you have listed: Performance: - Turbo back exhaust with blitz nur cannon - HKS front mount intercooler - Aftermarket Top Secret ECU - Boost controller - Automatic turbo timer - Pod filter - HKS oil cooler - Heavy duty racing clutch - Lightweight flywheel - HKS hyper-d Coilover suspension - Aluminium air deflector None of these mods will help the car to rev to 9-11,000 RPM safely.... So if you do actually rev it that hard, which is doubtful, it could/would be causing serious damage to the engine. And on a stock turbo it would be making F All power reving that high as its wayy out of its effiency zone. I dont mean to be negative, because its a very very nice looking car, you just dont need to say things like that to try and impress guys on here...they know these cars too well... Anyway, Good Luck with your sale
  17. They are almost the exact wheels im getting! Im only going the 19x8.5" though. I've been waiting for 2 weeks just to find out if i can order the bloody things from the USA...getting over that pretty quick... Might have a look at where you got yours from. Hot wheels
  18. Yeah my bad, was typing up a quick response while i was 'working' and didn't check it before posting Bigger tyres on the back is an effort for more traction i'd say, yeah it might/probably will understeer but who really races their skylines on a street setup?...well their daily driven skylines anyway.
  19. Im running Federal SS 595's on my stock rims atm and they are a great tyre for the price. Im running 235/45/17 Im no expert but here is my basic understanding 235 is the width 45 is the sidewall height in relation to the width 17 is obvisouly the rim size. I've heard you can go as big as 275's on the back of r34's but you'd probably have to get your guards rolled. Im going 265/30/19's on the front and 235/35/19 on the back with my new mags and i'll be getting mine rolled to be safe.

  21. +1 For no Glenn ridge! The Car show is the most boring car show i've ever seen! And No Dave Morley, i enjoy reading his articles in Motor mag but on TV he's about as interesting as spell checking the dictionary... Eric Bana would be interesting though, thats a good suggestion. He's funny, likeable and has racing experience. Only I doubt they could afford him A drifter or two would be great too. I dont think they should make it solely about modified cars though, but i definately think they should have a big part in the show. There are other new cars in AUS than just Commonwhores and falcadores. We do get exotics here too, just not as many.
  22. "budget $5000 just for a rebuild minimum and about $1500 for upgraded apex seals." Thats not really too true, unless your talking about a rebuild with new turbo manifold/turbo/wastgate etc. My brother had his rebuilt and with aviation spec seals and it was less than $4,000 drive in drive out. My rebuild at SCR was 6-7k with heaps of upgrades. "if u are running aftermarket seals. ud most probably neeed to run pre-mix which is $35 for 1L..." Not true either...I had SCR steel race seals in my FC and it ran perfect on 98ron fuel, also my brothers FC with Aviation seals was the same. No need for crazy high octane fuels unless your running huge boost(18psi+), and you just dont need to do that to make big horsepower in a rotary anyway because they can handle bigger turbo's running lower boost whilst remaining responsive. My FC had a GT35R with 1.06 rear housing and it had less lag and was more responsive than the stock turbo....
  23. I have never had a Series 8, but I have had a series 2 and a series 3 and a series 4... My series 4 Turbo was fairly heavily modded and was awesome awesome fun, but was using too much fuel to keep with prices going the way they are atm. (300k's 65Lt tank average at the end, stock was 430ish k's) For an idea of what it was like if you are interested here's the link: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/746227 The power is very addictive, but im sure you know that already having owned GTR's. Are you going to keep it stock or go for power? I'd make sure to get a compression test done before buying, to give an idea of engine condition. I realise the series 8 is a completely different chassis but engine wise once modded are similarish. If I had the money I would love a series 8, but I guess im stuck with my GT-T (My first piston powered car ever, and i love it...even if the old rx7 is wayyyy faster)
  24. I agree it looked a bit suss at the end, but keep in mind the GTR did start last and had to make up ground to get close at the end. And the fact that it does well, even if its slower in a straight line compared to a 470kw V12 I think is great. Plus the lambo is a $600k car vs $150k odd so really it isnt like its racing a sales competitor. Would be good if the vid had subtitles or something tho
  25. If you cant be bothered fitting them like my dad couldnt (cause it was a pain) he was charged $150 by a pro to fit the lot. Pretty reasonable imo
