might be worth a shot then the advice ill give tho is to send it where SP want you to, discuss with them what GCG have said and let them know when u get it back u will be sending it to GCG for another inspection and if it fails that u will be pursing legal action etc. gl bud

how many other people are having this problem with this turbo? If it is just a bit of a one off, i would let the said workshop repair the turbo as SP are asking. Then u can take ur chances with refitting it or paying to have gcg inspect it to see if it is indeed 100% it might cost u a bit of time and money but this is the real world and its not always nice. warranties or garantees dont mean too much to me, unless i have faith in the product i just dont buy it. that is unless i can afford to lose the money, harsh but sometimes as others have said its best to spend money on proven($$) parts . at the end of the day i dont have the money or the time, because time is money too, to take companies to court and stuff around like that. and ive spent my 5c gl

on the golf i think its about an extra 9k for the DSG

i wouldnt be so sure it has been cut and shut before, i mean u have a very large % of the weight at the front and if u hit it in the right spot i wouldnt be suprised to see it look like that. Ive seen pics of an enzo (diff ball game entirely i know) but it was split cleanly in half and i doubt it was cut and shut anyways f*k that, atleast no one is dead tho

Had heard a rumor, some guy up here in qld was just putting regular unleaded in the ultimate tanks at his BP servos. How true it was i dont know, my car is more a weekend toy and even tho its only tuned for 98 octance i run VPR in it In the future i think ill have the car retuned for VPR

i grabbed the biggest one catco do, got it from a gb here somewhere. its 3 inch with a 4inch body i think, looks bigger but i dont think it is because its bolt on. has been going well for over a year now.

i have stock coils and i didnt need to tape them up lol, when changing plugs the .8 gap is a good idea but u also want to go to a colder temp range. or was that hotter
