im getting my shit together guys, ill be comin out to play hopefully early next year. I have a 32gtst, that im building with the track in mind, but keeping it street reg so i can still get it out on the street sometimes

Since there is alot of track guys here, how many of u use short shifters, if so 10 or 30% less throw? I dont mind my standard gearstick but if there is ANY improvement from a shorter throw ill change it cheers

i have a rb30 that im collecting parts for slowly, but in the meantime im getting a little bored and have been thinking about rebuilding the old 20 with a set of forgies for 2.1 and 9.0 comp. Thoughts?

good thread, nothing but feelings has been hurt i feel it would be unfaithful not to throw my 5 cents in here Im a big fan of sports cars modified to have supercar performance. Forget about silly top speeds, im thinking more like roy passing the F430. For us guys without 300k to 1m to smoke on a car, being able to build a car that can run faster around a given track than a much more expensive/supercar is very exciting. Whilst technically, on paper whatever they might not be supercars they are running faster, and at the end of the track day if the skyline was ahead of the supercar on lap times then u would have to say the skyline is the better car as it has achieved 1st position. fwiw i feel the skyline is a SPORTS sedan, sporty enough to be called a SPORTS car. Its results in various motor SPORTS speaks for itself. And yes this is my opinion, not fact

Joel, my factory master is still going perfect 14 years on, i go thru none a year Dorifto sushi, do u have short legs? maybe try moving the seat closer, i know what ur saying but it really doesnt enable you to engage/disengage the clutch faster etc

hahahah yes it is, ive gotten rid of a bit of other weight so i dont mind keeping it there, i figure it helps with the weight balance a little Also my "racing machine" hasnt actually hit the track yet so its a good thing to have on the street, now i just need to get the rest of the tools in to actually be able to change a wheel should i get a flat. Buggered if i can find them tho, time to hit the wreckers im going to paint the space saver black on saturday, sick of the yellowness
