  1. hey dazmo, where did u get this done and roughly how much? thanks bud
  2. On a circuit car you want the lightest flywheel possible, from the man himself SK enjoy
  3. ^^ gold congrats on the time cambell, hope i see u run out at willowbank sometime
  4. perhaps move the bovs, from the drivers side and put the oil cooler there. bovs could find a new home in the engine bay perhaps. or remove the ac(but keep the heater) and u might be able to get away with the oil cooler between the radiator and intercooler. ac is overrated
  5. Maybe u will have to bite the bullet and cut a hole or two under the air filters, and feed air up from the passenger side of the bumper. This works pretty good on gtst's because there is room when u fit a front mount to run a pipe of some sort up to the pod. It probably wont help you but i think the gtst standard air box gets its "cold" air from a spot that will actually be cold. Failing that ill probably cut a hole and mod the bottom of the airbox so it can feed directly to the bottom of the panel, and not so much tru the snorkel thing. gl
  6. i am refitting my stock airbox with apexi panel. Have u considered that option?
  7. i got into an argument with the guy at the tyre shop, ended with me saying "look mate there are people out there smarter than you how about you just do what i want" hahah i tried mine at zero front zero rear, ive since changed to 1mm out each side at the front (or was it two ) and it turns alot better
  8. hey rs, im sure u are busy, but can u let me know what a set of r32 gtst rears in slotted only are worth delivered to brisbane i want to get in on the next batch thanks man
  9. who wants to sell me their genuine gtr front bumper with n1 slots? im willing to pay good money. cheers
  10. no there should be a new section called OLD NEWS hahah
  11. fark nice jump
  12. hey access ill take a apexi panel filter to suit my r32 gtst please pm me with your account details etc. thanks
  13. obvious things aside, if u import a car with a high auction grade as i said you cant really go wrong. As long as u use proven importers and or buyers. this will ensure u dont get a car that is rubbish. I wouldnt say u would be stupid to buy locally there are good cars around at what id consider good prices for what has gone into them.
  14. I see the major benefit to importing that you get to be the first owner in aus. Too many cars here are done up like shit, people try and do 100 mods with $5 then they go out and flog them with their retarded driving skills till they are barely roadworthy then try and sell them. id rather pay my 1k buyers fee or whatever it is these days (imported mine end of 00) and get something with a good aution grade thats probably only had one or two jap owners than buy one here that has had 5-10 aussie bogan etc owners. lataz
  15. hey rs73, ill take a set of these in the next batch please to suit my r32 gtst rear. Slotted only R=908S 297mm RRP $190 please pm me with the price again, thanks mate
  16. interesting, my seatbelt is kented, wont work unelss the car is on very level ground. might have a look in there cheers
  17. be ok if u just putt around in it
  18. indoor car covers are shit. keeping it indoors is more than enough the dust will still get thru anyway. may also wear the paint where it touches the car. better off just letting it get dusty without the cover and cleaning when u need it clean
  19. post up pics of the 180 when u get it i wouldnt mind a drift pig 180 gl
  20. would u consider a swap for the same wheel but silver spokes and normal leather with cash adjustment? cheers
  21. Finally found it 36 pages into the RB30 thread lol from sk... Hi guys, whilst GTR- Ben is almost right, it is actually the sensors you use on the engine that determine which ECU and loom you use. As an example we have an RB31DET (RB30 at 3.1 litres with an RB26DETT head) that uses an RB20DET Power FC and the original R32 GST loom . What I have done is use all of the sensors off the old RB20DET on the RB31DET. I swapped over the water temp sensors, knock sensors, throttle position sensor, CAS, boost sensor, oil pressure sensor, AFM (we used a Q45 AFM) etc. Plus I used the 565 cc injectors that were in the RB20DET, which were top feed and high impedance to match the Power FC. I did it this way, rather than use an RB26DETT ECU and loom, because I already had an RB20DET loom and Power FC in the car. So it seemed simpler to swap the sensors and injectors over while both engines were out of the car. Plus I am not very good with looms, I never seem to be able to get them to fit back in the way they should. If I had an R33GTST I would have done what GTR-BEN suggested and used all the original stuff with the RB30 bottom end. Hope all that makes sense.
  22. where is this idle control motor? i will not accept less than a stock gtr inlet and the 6 throttles cheers
  23. Not keen on that at all
  24. Im pretty sure this is possible but would like to double check. I think u would use whatever pfc suits the loom/sensors u are using but u never know, it might be more like u use the pfc that suits the loom/sensors AND/OR the head/inlet. I plan to run a rb26/30 in my hcr 32 with a AP Pfc pro for the ecu. Also want to retain the 6 throttles and run a gt3040 turbo for about 500hp or whatever it makes on 1 bar. To keep things as simple/cheap as possible i want to retain as many rb20 parts as i can for the head and inlet manifolds. Things such as the coils, tps, injectors, cas etc. This will also keep the cost of the head inlet down if i dont buy it with the extra stuff i perhaps dont need. So basically can i use the stock loom sensors etc on the rb26 head/inlet thus being able to retain my rb20 pfc/550cc nismo inj etc?? thanks guys
