Saw purple 33 gtr with what looked like white te37s and ganador mirrors. plates immacul8 i think i cant be sure i was doing 1km/hr going over a bastard of a train line at the time. nice ride if ur on here man

Its not too low, u probably find it feels bad because as you said u have fairly average suspension mods and use the extra pressure to mask this and make the car feel more nimble. cheers tho

Ok so i was a bit wasted last night, heres the real info i have 2. I used a standard R32GTST speedo cable, the one the car always had 3. I used the inner half of the R33GTST speedo drive (the bit that goes in the gearbox) with the external part of the R32GTST speedo drive (the bit that connects to the speedo cable). They fit together perfectly.

Try 32 for the street, its what i run in my 18s and is a good starting point.

I dont know about you guys but this is the info i have and what im going to try. remove cog from r33 gtst unit and put on r32 gtst unit. Put r32 unit into r33 gearbox. Ill let u know how it works out

This is how i did it. No issues with crap getting inside and they come up looking perfect once painted. Good luck

Thanks for the reply, ive had a read thru the pdf's from the motec site on the m48 ecu and understand the features and such. Ill give them a a call tomorrow and check out the prices. I guess more than anything i just want to see who here has it as you dont read or hear to much. Obviously this isnt a problem for gtr owners but pfc prices for hcr32 are getting up there, especially when u factor in the extra cost of the datalogit software. Edit: just checked out the pricing thanks for that. I think the ecu that would be suitable is the m48 clubman, that can be upgraded to the pro in the future if it was needed. At 2400 including software it is pretty attractive depending on how many extras i need to buy to get it running. However if i can sell my afm and ebc that might help soften the blow a little

As per the topic how many people on here use motec? Im really interested to know just how costly it is and what they think of it.

I need a solution to this problem im about to cough up 2k for a r32 pfc and hc, and its gonna hurt. How much is a equvilent motec/autronic system worth? Im even considering EMU :S

This is the info i have pretty sure it was from the man himself SK. Castrol GTX (the basic no frills mineral oil) with new filter. Run engine for about 1/2 hr or until well warm. Change oil filter. Engines can have particles in them that acccumulate during the build/maching proces and they need to be removed from the engine ASAP, these are caught in the oil filter. If you leave them in, the oil filter can get blocked and so will be bypassed. Check basic tune on the dyno or on the road with portable lambda sensor. Drive to Bathurst and back, lots of varying conditions, up and down hills, freeway, long climbs etc Refill with Castyrol Formula R Synthetic, new oil filter. I use 10W60 in all of my own engines. Do leak down test, if OK then final tune on the dyno. Go racing

In a book i have called 21st century performance, they test the r32 gtr and find that at 100km hour it is generating 6kgs of downforce. I think something is up when URAS' wing is only generating roughly 3 kgs at 100km hour. Dunno whats right or wrong, just thought id throw it out there.

Thanks for the reply joel. I have a remapped ecu at the momment but would love to get a pfc working, with or without a pfc loom adaptor. When you work out exactly what needs to be done could u make a pdf file like your rb30 one? Also i thought u had a ap pfc already for the rb20? Why are u changing is it just for the air temp sensor? Do you need to buy this sensor from nissan? Lastly what are the negatives of fitting the 26fc, i looked at pauls gotcha's and it seems the 02 sensor wont work or something?
