Well its being almost another year & radar detectors are still legal in this state. I have now moved my V1 detector from the R33 to my 335i as it is my DD now.

Pretty easy from my experience since (as mentioned already) there are no annual vehicle inspections & AFAIK mod laws are not as strict as compared to some eastern states. Cops aren't too bad at all from my experience & reading around, for one I have never seen/heard about cops in WA doing specific 'defect operations' here, the do the usual RBT/booze buses operations & camping with speed guns, but never those operations that target nothing but people with modified cars (& usually only imports or V8s, while your rusty bucket Camry can go through unnoticed) as seen from TT/ACA by eastern state police (Vic in particular). WA has the lowest fines for minor speeding I believe, under 9km/h over is only $75 with ZERO demerit points (compared to most eastern state which will be ~double the fine & have atleast 1 demerit points), so you never have to worry about losing your license for accidently creeping over the limit, although this might change in the future with the 'please think of the children' group crying about people doing 5k over & killing babies *roll eyes*. Also this is the only state in Australia where radar detectors are legal

Don't think they have a 'decent' emulator for even the PS2 yet... Last 'decent' (ones with lots of support & playing majority of roms) ones were the PSX, N64 & DS emulators AFAIK.

I'm waiting to see people getting rear ended because they slam on the brakes hard at the slight hint of amber even when they can prefectly go through without setting off the speed or red light reveune machines. Or you just get people who slow down to 20 km/h under 500m before the intersection even when the light is still green... On the plus side at least they are fixed & easily remembered, not like Cops or cameras hidden in bushes 100m in front of a speed limit change.

Just took my Hummel out for a spin (now buffed up to T6) & don't seem all that different from before? Or that could just be the typical fail bunch of heavies who parked right in the open for my target pratice...

Looks like they fixed my k/b not responding issue with the latest patch & also did arty become extinct now? Hardly ever see 1 anymore, which is good for me & means my T95 can be used once again. With arty extinction, I'm enjoying T9 & 10 battles once again.

I use GW Synx-3000 & works just fine, gets a oil & filter change every 5000km or 6 month.

Old BA XR6T would probably the fastest in a straight line for ~$10k...

I use the cheap $22 GW Synx-3000 semi-syn oil in my car & doesn't notice anything compared to what ever stuff was put in there by the work shop before. I changed it every 5k km or 6 month & the car (used) to be a daily driver (no tracks) so I don't see the point of spending >$40 for oil.

I went close to WOT one time at the lights coming back from work (around ~10pm), while there was a cop on a bike a few cars back. They changed lanes & sped up & matched my speed for a bit (I wasn't really speeding anyway) & then turned off & didn't do anything. Win Win situation.

& now after ~4 years of being used as a daily, old R33 stays in the garage most of the time. Gets driven once every fortnight to ensure battery doesn't go flat...

I saw a stock one (even has the stock exhuast & wheels & sounds like a Camry; i.e no sound) around here driven by some mid aged mum. Mine was 99% stock when I bought it, only had a fart can (not catback or TBE, hence no performance gains) & aftermarket stereo head unit.

Anyone else having problems where part of the keyboard would just stop responding midway in game? Seem to affect all the character keys, while keys on the 'outer edge' (shift, ctrl etc etc) still work, & the only reliable way I have found to fix is the cltr-alt-delete & restart the game, obviously not a great idea if you are right in the middle of a face off with a JagpzE100... Seem to have gotten progessively worser with every update, used to only happen on average once per hour or 2, now seem to happen every 2nd or 3rd game.

Not sure about that one... Unless you mean the current Aurion (Sold as 3.5 V6 Camry in other countries), those were faster than most 6 cylinder falcdores in a straight line I believe. The older (3.0) V6 Camrys had pretty 'meth' acceleration espeically if they had the ancient slush box auto, my parents had one (2002 model) & overtaking at highspeeds (80km/h+) sucks major donkey kong ballz.
