  1. no probs, I'll know by tomorrow arvo hopefully
  2. Just noticed what you said about "4 nights minimum stay" Dion. That is def the case if you're booking online............I'll ring them tomorrow and see if it's negotiable
  3. BIG4 Shepparton Parklands I've just been online with this particular park and I'm leaning towards this park for good reasons. 1) facilities (including pool) kill the other park 2) the most you'll pay for a top of the line Luxury Villa (sleeps 6) is $35 per night if you share.......they also have Family, Deluxe & Standard Cabins that are cheaper again. 3) 3 Star Park vs 4 Star Park 3) much nicer BBQ areas 4) Resort style park vs Bush style park I'll get a map of this park and post it in this thread PS: Dion, not sure if you've paid a deposit on at the Goulburn Park yet......or if you even want to consider changing to this one........leave it up to you guys either way
  4. Fair enough Would be good to get a map of the park up and see if we can get accommodation close to each other in the park.......good to see how close powered sites are as well, if I decide to bring the van up
  5. Just had a look at that one Dion.......the one I pointed out has a pool and looks much nicer.......was the Goulburn Valley Village much cheaper than the one below maybe? BIG4 Shepparton Parklands I'm tempted to bring my big van down for this event
  6. This one's not too bad Steve http://www.big4sheppartonparklands.com.au/index.html
  7. other thing that you guys may want to consider (as I've been to both towns) Benalla is a bit of a shit hole with barely 9,000 people living there.........therefore motels and cabin parks are average at best Shepparton has around 50,000 population..........much nicer town and lots of decent accommodation to chose from
  8. Just got in on this. Martin, you'll have some stickers between 12.30 pm & 1.00pm tomorrow
  9. This thread is outta here. Ken, please read the rules before posting this sort of thing again bud. Secondly, most guys on here can get there codes cleared for free.
  10. LOL, thanks for the invite
  11. yeah, I'm a bit of a "Beef & 3 Veg" man myself Stevie

    E85 Fuel

I'm amazed at the attitude towards E70 vs E85............I think peeps are forgetting that the fuel alone won't give you the kind of power you're looking for. In fact, 98 pump fuel will burn much better (combust) than the higher octane Ethanol.........the stuff just doesn't burn!!! What the Ethanol allows you to do is turn up the boost and and throw more ignition timing at it, hence where the additional power comes from................the stuff doesn't know the meaning of the word Detonation!!!
  13. oil in your radiator is not good but can still be driven for a short distance (depending on the amount) however, water in your sump means "turn engine off immediately"! Just because a TK test showed NO sign of combustion gasses in the coolant, doesn't mean that there isn't a track between an oil gallery and a water jacket, either via a crack or a damaged head gasket. Head gasket may be sealing the cylinders well hence no drastic drop in compressions.....damage obviously elswhere. My suggestion is to flush both oil & cooling system out then start again and monitor very closely...........do not boost its head off in the meantime!
  14. Hey Carl I'm putting my money on boost leak bud Rough idle , hunting, blowing smoke......all symptoms of an intercooler pipe pissing out somewhere

    Afl 2011

SA Footy sucks atm I reckon we should lock this thread for the rest of the year......maybe for the next 2 or 3 years
  16. Speaking of a bottle of Bourbon Nick......John Munroe and I knocked off a home brew bottle of Bourbon tonight in front of a nice bonfire.......nicest stuff I've had in a long time Thanks for the pizza too John
  17. True Adrian, no argument here At the end of the day (and this is not directed at you Adrian cause you've only just purchased yours), I just like their product, and like Dion stated earlier, I can't understand the regurgitating posts about why Android is so much better than Apple...........hey we get it, no argument here! Now go back out and play in your sandboxes kiddies
  18. yeah Dion, it seems it's always the Apple haters out there that you hear on forums, but not the other way around..............are they trying to convince us or themselves BTW, I had 2 HTC phones before the iPhone..........so it's not like I haven't experienced both.............but hey, boys with their little toys need to get a life
  19. Yeah, I'd have to agree there. Perfect example of this happened just today. A 45sq solid brick 2 storey home with high ceilings on a block around 1000m sq (directly across the road from me) was auctioned off today (deceased estate) for $650K To give you an idea, a bare block directly behind me (slightly bigger) sold last year for $705K (no house on it).........both blocks have uninterrupted views of Adelaide and the Beaches. The people across the road pretty much paid for the land today and got this monster house for free To try and build a house this size these days would cost between $600 & $800K.........and that doesn't factor in the price of the land!!
  20. Matty, I actually feel for the guy........everyone (including me) expected him to set the pace from the 1st bell and be the aggressor very early......the little bit I saw, almost felt like he was pacing himself Cost him the Cruiser Weight Title......and unusually, Tarver has offered the re-match.......normally a thing the loser of a fight would ask for
  21. it's out there every day bud
  22. Here you go Norm
  23. WOW, didn't see that coming!! What did I say earlier about throwing in the towel?
  24. NIKON D90 SLR (still current model) Body only (as new) $650 or with NIKON 18 - 200mm Lens (as new) $1500
  25. WOW, I'd even consider a V8 Commo if GMH could make them look like that
