  1. Too true Steve. I'll try and get down there around lunch time with my mate who's the agent for ULX-110 oil......apparently they're sponsoring a Silvia down there.
  2. lol...don't threaten me with a good time
  3. lol.....I can't remember that far back, I think me, mid life & puresx were still picking our noses at that age
  4. Yeah I agree Dan, that's ridiculous!!
  5. Ahh, I miss those shows Steve......if only my job was exciting as Magnum's!!
  6. Can't say the URAS kit does much for me....Tommy kit isn't too bad though.
  7. Fair enough, so he's obviously over 21 now and a bit smarter.
  8. lol, what's a ride off? Is that the car they use after a bank hold up? Seriously though, I think a few peeps are skeptical about some cruises that are organized by people they don't know very well and it doesn't really help when you posted on a different thread that your boyfriend chucked his car sideways at a major intersection just to avoid a red light camera.........for starters, if he was doing the right thing then that wouldn't have been necessary, and secondly, what if he lost it and crossed lanes into on coming traffic and killed an innocent driver?! Just my 2 cents as to why some are a bit concerned because I don't know you but I'm sure you're a cool chic.
  9. lol....you should be in show biz steve
  10. My 3 cents (adjusted for inflation) I hate massive kits that flare out like princess Diana's wedding dress, you cant walk thru your carport without tripping over some side skirts......spew Less is more, Less is tuff....nothing against tuff looking subtle kits.
  11. Ha, ha, get your licence mid life and I'll give you some hours.
  12. Thanks for that mate, I do remember you vaguely. Yeah it was the Woodstock Extreme Moto Expo at Millicent and was run by Horn Promotions I think.....don't know much about them but I think they learnt their lesson about greed when it came to entry fee. Considering Bandit from Bikernet in LA was down for the judging, the high flying stunt riders performance and the sand drags, I did expect a bigger turn out for entrants and spectators. Oh well, I suppose nothing compares to Bike Week on the Gold Coast........maybe the Bankstown NSW show comes close.
  13. Hey Brad, are you the same guys that do most of Andy Steven's work at "Hyperformance Cycles"?
  14. OK, fair call.
  15. lol, thats a side effect of gluttony Andrew. Looks like everyone had a good night and spew'n I missed it.........had to settle for a barbie near the pool at our Gold Coast resort instead. Great pics Patrick....anyone got any others?
  16. Yeah I think you maybe on the money Steve. Seems a bit strange for a VIC to go out of his way in an SA thread just to defend a silly ad unless there was some interest there.......if there is no interest, then he needs a bex and a lie down.
  17. lol, hope it wasn't a Skyline or we'll be all branded as terrorists too
  18. Mate have another read of my post.....nowhere do I accuse this particular ad as being a scam, instead I'm having a dig at your branding of Glenn as a racist. And even if he did refer to it jokingly as a scam, so what.....unless its your ad, lighten up!
  19. Wow, you are full of surprises!! Congrats girl. Pics of the bling or ban.
  20. Yeah I don't think Glenn was being racist. I and most on here would see his Nigerian reference as the typical scams that continue to come out of that place. You see Nigerian scams on the news and Ebay on a regular basis so its not a dig at their colour or race.
  21. Yeah 7 wks is a bit rich. I had a bad spill on a GSXR1100 many years ago on Diagonal Rd, Glenelg after a day at Mallala watching the superbikes. I was face down in the middle of the road with heavy traffic dodging me for a couple of minutes before both lanes were closed down by a nearby cop. I got my insurance approval through within the month by getting the name of the assessor and hounding him every 2nd or 3rd day until he got sick of me. 2 years later I got a 3rd party payout once the injuries had healed as much as possible so they could determine the % of incapacity. Don't know how you will go with injury claim if you have no negligent 3rd party to claim against. Did you go back and take pics of the sight....why that gravel was there.....who was responsible for maintenance etc, etc. Might be a waste of time but investigating the scene could be in your best interest especially for an injury that may cause you a lifetime of pain & suffering. Goodluck with the whole situation, I'd hate to be going through the hassle of dealing with insurance companies, lawyers, doctors & rehabs again so I can sympathize with you.
  22. Not all accidents are investigated, only suspicious ones. In your case, being a single vehicle accident, it was a mandatory investigation due to the fact that some others in the past have written their vehicles off intentionally for the purpose of collecting on their insurance. Other than inspecting your bike, they would've conducted a scene investigation then an advertisement investigation to see if you were recently trying to sell your vehicle and couldn't for one reason or another. Door knocks in the area are also conducted sometmes including sorting through witness interviews and statements. They've got multiple cases like this every week and you would've been just another number. So in saying that, are you able to say on here what the circumstances of your accident were now that your claim has been approved?
  23. Sounds really good Dean....hopefully be in the same boat in a few years.
  24. Yeah I found the HKS pods alot noisier than the Apexi cones. Boost leaks (if bad enough) generally result in much richer mixtures and poor acceleration.
