  1. Thats some pretty sik numbers Jeff, (around 500hp) good effort. That magical 400kw figure doesn't seem too far away with a decent cam profile. I noticed you've decreased spring travel to increase the rate & seat pressure, as long as there is no chance of binding & room for more lift I can't see why you wouldn't get even more impressive numbers. We must hook up as discussed a few weeks ago when I get back from QLD, cheers. PS: As others have already stated here, it sounds like you'll get a better reception here as opposed to ns.com
  2. lol....kietz, you appear to suffer from silver spoon syndrome. Are you looking for work or in between jobs....if not, tafe is a good place to start
  3. yeah +1 Don't kit it. If you do, prob only narrow the interest down to a few teens with no cash.
  4. Thanks Cubes....shame its a trailer queen (garden gnome) that'll never see bitumen with that rigid frame, rake & ape hangers. I heard that this year's show was going to have some decent bikes in it.......I obviously heard wrong.
  5. C'mon guys, any bikes at the show that were pic worthy.....if so, pls post.
  6. if you go after their ins company (being their fault) and you dont involve yours, why would you be paying Excess?
  7. Thats usually the best way to handle things, only problem is, once you get your own insurance company involved they usually want the Excess paid to act on your behalf, so I try and handle things myself if the the other party is 100% to blame. As well as investigation I have also done abit of loss assessing in the past so I know some of the tricks that insurance companies may try.....never ever accept a 90/10 offer which is how some companies try to bluff you into thinking that you are partially to blame just for being there......if you were stationary and positioned legally, go them 100%.
  8. I hear ya both Deluxe & Mid Life and in a perfect world we need a track without curfews, but at the end of the day if a track without curfews becomes a prerequisite to getting one, then bring on the curfews because ultimately this state must get an all in one circuit. We're already seen as a joke state by melbournians.
  9. $54 sounds like the price that Regency used to charge for a 2nd inspection prior to July 1st 2007. If that was your 1st inspection then you they obviously wrote you up on the wrong register or tier group.....their bad, your luck. Whiplash is clued up with this stuff, enlighten us with your knowledge & wisdom Nick.
  10. yeah thats what I did on the car Darren.......'S'......re-issued plate Bike on the other hand costs me $190 each year extra
  11. yeah if you guys go I reckon I will be 90% there....just gotta make sure I'm not chasing fools that weekend.
  12. Suppose I better give my 2c. I've probably been riding longer than all of you (except for maybe you mid life) and have had 2 relatively bad stacks that required hospitalization. I was single with no kids in those days so I only had me to think about and was pretty careless then....hence broken all my limbs. I used to ride the big Jap stuff when I was young and single but have moved to the heavy metal tractors these days which weigh twice as much and will probably push a car out the way. I've mellowed out alot more now and have learnt 2 new words in recent years....defensive riding.....cos you can do all the right things but its usually what happens as a result of another vehicle
  13. Looks like $132 from July 1st 2007 and $66 for each additional inspection. Vehicle_Inspection_Program_Fee_Increases_1_.pdf
  14. Good pics Skippy, don't ya hate those port jacksons?! We fished for snapper out of Cowell and in Lucky Bay where my mates cousin owns shack No 1, and we lost count the amount of times we pulled up those sharks......I reckon he was the same one each time lol.
  15. yeah he hides behind the bushes on the corner of Caufield Ave & Goody Rd every morning....always give him a toot
  16. I hear your concerns loud & clear mid life and tend to agree that its a major concern.....surely the mayor & consortium of developers would be discussing that very issue, you would hope. I would think these boys wouldn't want to fork out 25 mill (which will probably become 35 mill) to have restrictions imposed down the track. Hopefully they have a really good think tank in progress before they start pouring. PS: Thats probably the most typing in 1 day I've ever seen out of you mid life........time for a lie down and a bex buddy (washed down with some camomile or scotch)
  17. Hey martin, I have the Tein HA coilovers on my GTR and they are rock hard too on 265 x 35 x 18. I drove the car back from Sydney and felt every stone I went over and even on the softest setting (16 steps) its still pretty hard. They would be great for circuit though.

Dont think you can go wrong with Goldstar. I was very happy with his results so I dont know what possessed me to go out north later.

Hey dave, is that a good price and do you mind me asking who quoted?
  20. 2 things pal, and listen very carefully because you've just alienated yourself to alot of people on this site! 1. Keep your racial remarks to yourself!!!!!!!!! 2. Would you still be laughing if you were the reason for the other idiot hitting that innocent car waiting at the lights.....what if there were kids on board?!
  21. Ha, ha, yeah good point. I tried pasting Kietz's quote into an online english translator but my computer froze as soon as I did it. So I kicked it and it came back with alien language and all these little green men jumped out of my speakers. Sorry for taking the piss Kietz.......its all good fun.
  22. I understand your dilemma Dale. Check this site for future reference, hope it helps. Net Lingo
  23. I've had reports up to my eyeballs........I'm going to bed......goodnight all
  24. Hey Kietz....what school did you go to bud......just need to know so my kids don't go there
