  1. Yeah Wed & Thur you can go to Sturt without an appointment for a Vin & Engine No inspection only if it's an interstate car.
  2. Followed SKYHI up Goodwood Road at 6.55 am today.........seemed like he was in a real hurry.

We use radios regularly on the road and find that the way they are rated is at night in the country with no buildings or trees around. Having said that, if you need something for communication between 2 cars driving together, 1 watt is definitley the way to go because it won't chew up battery life and won't get too hot.
  4. I agree, but forget about whether or not you can get it through Regency, do you really like the "Kermit with a Skirt" look? Why don't you look for something that looks a bit tougher, even if it's a cheaper stocky (or near stock) that you can do the mods yourself. I always appreciate the mods I do myself than the ready made ones and you get to experience the difference each mod makes.
  5. This is what happens with too many killer wasps flying around under your bonnet!!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=FaXM9sdUp7A&feature=related http://youtube.com/watch?v=cZppg7RJjKo&feature=related
  6. If the seller is that confident that it will pass Regency.......get hime to put something in writing and sign it so you can get your money back. Otherwise you may be left with a car thats only good for parts.
  7. Correct its a Tier 2 identity inspection (VIN & Eng No inspection) but,.............with obvious stand outs like protruding wheels, dark tint, cut front bar and possibly too low, (and who knows what it looks like under the hood) they may refer you for a Tier 3 identity inspection or worse still a Roadworthy inspection. http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/registratio...inspections.asp

Shannons $1150 for R34 GTR V-Spec with mild mods but restricted to 1 or 2 drivers over 25yrs old.
  9. Yeah I think both units look pretty good but I was trying to compare the 2 with their different intermediate plate setup and I'm not sure if one is better than the other. The NISMO is about $250 cheaper but I'd like to know which is the best one and what the deal is with the Boss Drives.
  10. Lets us know how you go........I'm thinking of fitting the Exedy Hyper Carbon Twin D Core (with the Boss Drive). http://www.exedy.com.au/clutch/hyperdD-Core.htm Interested to know if anyone has had any experiences with a Boss Drive setup and their thoughts. NISMO also do a similar unit with a Boss Drive http://www.nengun.com/nismo/super-coppermi...in-plate-clutch
  11. Cool.......have to catch up some time and compare notes.
  12. Hey heller44, would you mind checking the ID tag on your 2860 -5's. Apparently they are now badged as 2560 -5's but still have the 2860 -5 specs.
  13. R32 GTR... tuned at Southern Hi-Tech = 326.8kw at wheels (6/12/07) Wow, I just notice the date on the fine print.......you gotta be happy with 326.
  14. Yeah thanks Martin....I did check out your ride and the Sniper alongside yours, very nice.........would've liked to see you both pull a fuse and do a dyno run. The GTR's would've been a good crowd puller. Thanks Dave, would've been in it if they had a 4WD dyno..........I can't pull a fuse like a 32 GTR, I have to drop a shaft as well.
  15. Thanks buddy, nice meeting you too.
  16. We used to machine flywheels on a surface grinder while it was fixed on a bed with a hi-speed rotating stone wheel buzzing over it (and lots of coolant washing it simultaneously). The deal is though, we only did it for the street boys and girls.........the serious race boys would always buy a new one!?
  17. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!! Thanks Cara and congrats to you too.......171 is killer for your NA!!!
  18. Thanks Dave.....as I said to Ash, if you see me out on the bike come and say hi.
  19. Thanks Ash. If you ever see me out again on the bike (or the 34) come and introduce youself.
  20. Yeah the pics are a bit decieving possibly due to the way they were taken..........the place is pretty full though. Some of the cars were moved around during dyno runs so that may explain some empty spaces when I took the pics.
  21. Here are some more pics from today of mine and my mate Marco's toys.
  22. Yeah Steve, I actually saw this one. Thought $600 is a bit too dear for a newie so this one is possibly a bit too expensive for a second handy with 24K on it already and who knows if all the gauges and LED's are working......I noticed in the pic that the fuel needle is stuck at almost full while the other 4 needles are back to zero......it may no be an issue but for the extra few bucks I'd go for a newie I think, unless the second handy was an absolute steal. Thanks for the link though.
  23. Hey Dave, I went to Europe a few years ago for about 10 weeks to check out the Greek Islands but never got to Germany. I'd love to hit those Autobahns with a Bugati or a McLaren.
  24. Hey Cara, nice pics but you only got one of my toys in , where's the other ? I'll try and put some pics of today up as well. It was good to meet you guys today and I hope your R34's do well.
