Spotted 2 girls in a grey 32 at 8.30 am today broken down in the middle of West Tce just before Hindley.......slowing traffic right down.

CORRECT. It's like trying to import a WRX or something similar that already has approval for volume sales in this country. Unless your'e importing something different to what we already sell here and unless it already has approval for importation (ie compliancing etc), you'll have buckleys bringing 1 over unless you've owned it over there for a certain period of time. I've heard figures more around the $160K mark for a new Aussie R35 sold from a Nissan dealer in this country so based on that figure, good luck trying to pick up a new one for under $150. If you want to wait and buy a second hand one in this country for the right price, you might be waiting for a few more years after their release here.....have a look at Porsche second hand prices, I'm sure these things will follow a similar pricing pattern.

Not a stupid question at all......that's the whole basis of my arguement. A qualified exh guy with experience in hi-performance cars can make a nice system and save you a few $$$. Mandrel bends kept to a minimum, magnaflow cats, and your choice of rear muffler.....and if it drones like some jap pipes do, he can add a straight through resinator for you, this way you get the look at the rear you're after and the sound that you want.

If money isn't an issue I'd go for Jap too but if the budget doesn't allow, why not?

Just spotted a black 32 with a shaved head driver & 'CC' plate heading south on Five Ash Drive, Panorama.....gave a toot in my work car. Saw a nice grey 32 GTR at Maccas in Happy Valley at 12.40 pm today. Middle aged fella called Ernie. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it.....I luv 32's

Yeah what whiplash said is correct. Had mine in the sturt shed about a week ago for the same deal. As long as there's no stand outs like dark tint, wheels sticking out of guards or guards sitting on tyres, you should be fine.....if it's loud don't rev it, just idle it into the shed. Do what I did.....wait for 40 degree day and show up 15 minutes before knock off......Sturt shed is open till 3.00pm Wed & Thur with no appointment needed.

One idea is maybe to have a couple of nights to please everyone. alvin and chipmunks on 1 night for those with kiddies + us big kids i am legend on the other night for others. I'd probably be in for both if the date suits.
