  1. 10:1 Even at idle? If that's the case, you''ll definitely get your benchmark with a decent tune and a little more boost....please post the results when you get them. Has anyone ever run a pair of these turbos on a GTR....I think they're the biggest you can go on low mount? If so, I'd be curious to know what sort of power you were getting and at what sacrifice down low. I almost considered using a pair of these on mine instead of the GT2860R -5 but wasn't prepared to sacrifice response.......I reckon they would of made 400 awkw easliy and without ridiculous amounts of boost.
  2. R33PER got a massive defect unfortunately
  3. Yeah I'm still at the experimental stage with fuel pressure so not sure how much I should be running in the SARD rail yet.
  4. Spotted blue "BAD R33" about 1 hr ago on Goodwood Road, Pasadena. Gave a toot in the work car with black windows.....anyone from here?
  5. That sucks with the issues you had Cubes, you would think they would have had enough experience in that area. I never really noticed too many probs with too much oil upstairs until I got my mods done and now it seems to be an issue. I've got to organize an air/oil separator.....too many junk catch cans out there unfortunately and I dont know which way to go at the moment.
  6. I've read some of the suggestions in this thread. For what it's worth (maybe nothing) I think some of you are walking a little too close to the flame.
  7. Did you check your injector cycle under load? Were they maxing out? Once you go past 80% injector cycle, it's usually time for an upgrade. At 283kw with STD injectors I reckon you must have been coming close.
  8. Bit of a catch 22 situation. My experience with reconditioning heads is that you keep your seat pressures to a minimum unless your running welltite inserts (or similar). Obviously the higher the revving the higher the seat pressure you'll need but some reconditioners have gone overboard with seat pressures in alloy heads and pounded the seats into the head to the point were they have to be removed and have your head welded. Thus said 15 pounds on an 8000rpm motor will just float the valves.
  9. This is the Nismo fpr steve http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISMO-FUEL-PRESSURE...oQQcmdZViewItem hope it works Nismo FPR
  10. Nismo fpr bolts directly onto the stock fuel rail like the original one and half the price of the Tomei.
  11. Don't know steve, I'd only be guessing. Maybe speak to a few more tuners and go by the majority.
  12. Known Pete Hall for over 20 years from Adelaide Engine days and he really knows his stuff........he's at Outlaw Speed Shop now.
  13. Like I said earlier steve, I've got a brand new adjustable Nismo fpr if you get stuck. Unless your making massive killer wasps, a rising rate one is overkill and double or triple the price.
  14. Yes he does....I spoke to him a couple of days ago and may get him to have a look at a slight miss that I'm getting.
  15. CORRECT, but only if the rail was not pressurized enough to start with, otherwise you can add another 10 or 20 psi into your rail and it won't push anymore through the injectors unless the ECU allows it.
  16. I have a brand new one that I didn't use if you get stuck.
  17. yeah now you tell me when I'm stuck in Renmark again
  18. very nice andz.....the car I mean....
  19. Single left side swing arm mounted on an external large hub bearing setup. Billy Lane from Melbourne, Florida USA was one of the first guys to come up with that concept.
  20. yeah finally.....334kw @ 1 Bar but with boost leaks.....keeps blowing off intercooler hoses. Gave up in the end until the problem is sorted out......there's another 20 or 30kw there @ 1 Bar and close to 400 if I got crazy with boost, mixtures and bit more timing.....I'm not that silly though!
  21. forget weigh bridges.......you need to attend a weight watchers meeting Steve
  22. I'd like 6 turbos....one for each cylinder!!!!!
  23. A black 32 came in on a truck with a canary on it to Fisher Performance........not the same one is it?
  24. One of the problems with living in the western world is the need to accumulate stuff!! When we finally get it we realize we need a bigger fix (bit like a druggie). One thing's for certain though, life will pass you by and you won't take it with you. lol.........I just read this back and I sound like my old man.........maybe he's smarter than I thought!!
  25. A friend of mine 'wegs' has got a pretty nice 32GTR and has done a fair bit of testing on the dyno with pulleys etc but says there was no noticeable difference even with more important items that included the removal of water pump, clutch fan and A/C from the crank pulley. Here's a quote from him and a link to the thread which includes some knowledgable info from Trent in Vic. It's a good read. From here I experimented with different theories. I removed the water pump, clutch fan and A/C from the crank pulley. No noticable change on road or dyno. Installed popular RB26 Jap cams and Manifolds... slight change in midrange power but rest was identical. Boost points didn't change. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ke...se-t204040.html
