  1. don't use an atmo bov....use one that plumbs back or partial atmo
  2. My 2 cents for what its worth.....leave cams till last. Turbos, PFC and bigger fuel will make the biggest difference....you already got exhaust.
  3. Its a good feeling isn't it? Is it everything you expected from the description they gave you?
  4. Yeah I've got family nearby in Wallaroo............so very tempting.
  5. Ferraris and computers obviously dont mix too well. Keith Wong had some serious issues on Thursday & Friday because his 360 has 3 computers (2 engine management and 1 driveline). One for eack bank so it sees it as 2 separate engines. The thing kept shifting into 'Limp Mode" everytime he hammered the rev limiter. So by trying to stay off it meant he couldn't go as fast. You cant even plug a laptop into the thing unless you've got the unit that can communicate with the ECU and thats in Melbourne. No wonder the Porsches keep giving it to the Ferraris and they don't break down anywhere near as much. Keith had a gut full and was tempted to bring out the Porsche that he did well in last year. Poor bloke probably regrets buying this thing.
  6. Thats probably a bit harsh Daniel.......I think he knows he's stuffed up and hopefully this doesn't go any further.
  7. Thanks Ron. Here's my 2 bobs worth. The little I know about the Ultra is that you mount eyeball sensors on the window pillars (usually) but if the window is slightly down wind can set them off....I think these are also the type that I keep setting off in town and at the Bay with my bike. I think the Micro units are designed for convertibles and use a narrow field. Apparently (from what I'm told) a good unit that can be customized with a Tilt Sensor and set up correctly can do away with the Ultra, Micro & Shock Sensors which then makes the unit very reliable. If someone leans on the car, sits in it, pushes it or trys to break a window it will give a warning first then the alarm if they persist.
  8. I thought this was interesting from Daniel "PLATINUMPPI" (in Sydney) who sells and installs all the Mongoose stuff. He has an R34 but he has installed an "Anti-Theft Alarm" (similar money) in his 34 without Ultrasonic or Microwave Sensors and only the Tilt Sensor & Auto Window Closer.....he reckons the unit is alot more reliable that way. Daniel C/- PLATINUMPPI
  9. Hey all, I know one important consideration for alarms is whether to go for a unit with "Microwave Sensor" (ie. Mongoose M80AM) or "Utrasonic Sensor" (ie. Mongoose M80AU). Can anyone with a good knowledge of the 2 formats give us all the pros & cons between the 2?
  10. Just spotted Deluxe heading north on Goodwood Rd Westbourne Pk at 11.50am. Gave a toot Darren but I think you just missed me going opposite direction.
  11. Yeah you're right Steve, I meant "post" not 'thread"...........I've now changed that. You didn't have to mate. There's only a handfull of guys on there and the fact that the public can now put them all in the same basket is like opening a can of worms. If your info was backed with evidence or it had already ben reported in papers you would have been better off naming them just to exonerate the others. Sorry to be so hot on this subject, reason being is that I have also been accused of links to outlaw bikers by someone who barely even knows me just because of the toys I have. He's about to learn the meaning of the word litigation if he dares to start slandering me in forums.
  12. Mate ths is a public forum. Unless this information has also been reported in the papers or released officially, you better hope the boys on TV don't read this post because your ass and your copper mate's ass is theirs.........without evidence, even if they're only under investigation, this could be seen as slander. Nightcrawler, for timheather's sake, it might be a good idea to remove this post.

    Ouch!

Gyprock spans appear to be OK because the sheets are running perpindicular to the joists. Joist spans also appear to be OK (approx 600mm). I think the glue (or the lack of it) is the problem.
  15. Could be anything from different boost, different induction temp, different ramp rate.......and the list goes on.

  18. Wow......that is a beautiful piece of work. Shame it'll never be ridden on the road legally due to the guards, brakes, internal throttle and lack of lights, etc. Wonder who built it.
