  1. ROR, overpriced Soccermummobile
  2. Oh noes! It works with my 'Parrot' car kit via bluetooth though
  3. looking at those AFR's, I'd be putting around like an old lady until you get it sorted. Couldn't the tuner advise you? EDIT: You can play around with ignition timing all day but it won't mean squat if your valve timing is out by even 1 tooth.
  4. my iPhone has Bluetooth
  5. That's who I used on my R as well Dave......experienced blokes that know their stuff and are extemely accurate. These guys specialize in alignments, most tyre places will do alignments but that's just like taking your ride to K-Mart for a $99 Service & Tune special........you get what you pay for.
  6. 3606
  7. yeah I think this thread is flirting with danger now since most know who this thread refers to now. Thread Locked.
  8. My missus was wondering why I was LOL so much....she had to come into the office to check up on me
  9. Great idea Vince but unfortunately there are certain groups (as reported in the news last night) that take advantage of disasters world wide and set up fake charities as a measure of a "get rich quick" scheme. Not saying your buddy would do any such thing but people should be wary of the aforementioned groups and be not only vigilant but good stewards of their finances. I know the bigger Christian organizations like "Compassion" do in fact attempt to give a high percentage of monies collected with minimal running costs.......but nevertheless, if you do have family or friends over there, giving direct will naturally have a somewhat greater impact. Condolences to those that have family or friends over there.
  10. Twins33 (Morris), if your sig relates to your business, pls remove it immediately. All traders must submit a subscription before advertising.......again, read the rules pls.
  11. Very true Craig...always better to pit yourself on a track against peeps that you know (bragging rights etc) rather than someone you've never met before. Makes for a more enjoyable day as well.
  12. yep
  13. LOL you really need to ask!? Would look better with my boot sunk into it And on a serious note, I fully understand ns.com's lifetime ban just because you have blue mesh.
  14. very very sad.....with any luck they catch the mongrel that did the runner. ...and yes, all the koalas in the world don't equate to 1 human life.
  15. Very true Steve A person with $12 that gives $10 has given more than a person who had much more and gave $20. Give from the heart and amount doesn't matter.
  16. Zippel Cruises are the biggest in Australia with much respect from the cops......in excess of 300 full US customs on most crusies. Paying members only or by special invite on his regular cruises. No idea bud, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you....passing this on for Grant. Geoff Tartoosie of Extreme Horsepower is heading the Castle Plaza section of the cruise.
  17. ahh didn't see you, did you toot? Cibo's coffee at the Bay in the morning is the best.......putting up with Pete Motley's jokes at that hour every morning is not so good.
  18. correct Steve....he doesn't suffer fools too well, neither do any of his paying members, of which I'm one.
  19. We all think that our problems are so big A wise man once said : Life is tough with no shoes until you see the man with no feet
  20. Hey everyone Grant Zipple (Zipple Cruises) sent me this link to support the new Motorplex on Australia Day and all are welcome. Details as per LINK Map: Motorplex_Cruise_Map.pdf
  21. good topic Steve.........very easy to forget the little people around the world until it hits our own backyards. very good cause people.
  22. I wasn't able to attend the exec meeting the other night due to work commitments but you do raise a valid point Luke that probably warranted more discussion on the night. Unfortunately, as Luke has already stated, the level of interest has caught everybody off guard (which should be viewed as a positive for the club) and in hind's sight, maybe an ad in the "member's only" section 1st may have been somewhat fairer for current members. However, the "member's preference" arguement stands, and as a committee our job is two fold; 1). To care for existing members and attempt to cater for their needs and 2). To grow a successful members list which leads to a strong club with more resources. Now it's time for everyone to take a deep breath and rest assured that all the raised points are valid ones and will be taken into consideration for the next track day........as there will be many more, judging by the level of interest.
  23. Just to clarify a point, Adam hasn't named the workshop, I think it was Steve who summized the origin of the work. He did however pay kudos by pointing out their rectification of the whole ordeal......many peeps would've left this important detail out. In the quote above, he's asking whether anyone else has had a similar experience and regardless of the final outcome, is still having issues with radiator supports, etc. If this thread is locked, it'll be due to certain responses to the author's 1st post. I'm editing certain posts as you read this.
  24. the new Sportster 2010 Harley (that Craig posted up recently) is all in matte black with no sealer coat......must be a special paint or something, lol cause it will need regular touch ups.
  25. Hot tank is the best for cast blocks but cold acid for alloy stuff or it will eat them.......and make sure all brass plugs are removed from alloy to avoid electrolysis with some baths.....should only ever use stainless plugs in alloy anyway IMO.
