  1. Thanks Alex, David and Joey... The Wrap-Up is now in the General NSW Section...
  2. Let the Pics begin!!!! Great to see your guys - some new - some not so new! Thank you SO MUCH Daniel, Dave, David, Kim, Colin and Other Staff at CCS for last night's tremendous Tech Night! Plus thanks Chris and Ciaron and others for taking Pics Learned a lot of things about battery drain, different immobiliser systems (ncl kill switches) and the recommended need to professionally install security.
  3. Not sure Adam. I'd probably PM Tats or Nick right atm. Thanks for helping
  4. Lol. Tell me tomorrow if your missus detected that you were grumpy tonight!
  5. Thank you Chris. Funny how I nearly put the EVO up F/S this morning; but now I won't be, because the R33 GT-R V-Spec N1 sold at auction for quite a high price. R34Liner gave me the heads up on it yesterday > became quite a distraction in my wk hahaaaaa.
  6. Lol... Every time I drop in, they give me smiles for free! > Lovely bunch of guys for doing that! I wonder if by asking Steve and Darron, they'd oblige by putting on a Tech Night? They were one of our SAU Sponsors for the R32 GT-R 21st Anniversary, patroned by Jim Richards. They're also one of SAU's Business Traders. Footnote:- How would the spare parts industry fare if they just didn't exist anymore?
  7. OK, we'll meet another time I'm sure. That leaves 36x coming, which is quite an optimal number!

    R33 N1

Hehe... Guess what? That R33 GT-R V-Spec N1 "sold" today! I believe it's an Aussie buyer > so congratulations whoever you are
  9. Yes, this is a night to look forward to! And thanks Raj. Adam offered to help out too. What we can do is ask each attendee on arrival to write their User Name down on Stickers that I supply to place on their shirts PM replied to already - Ta!

But Nick, that VS2 Nur is a most wonderful dream! If Aron and I get that car for you, that dream will end!!! We wouldn't be so cruel
  11. Pretty Much Full House now guys Might be able to squeeze in 1-2 ninjas...

    R33 N1

I think that getting this car back to stock will be an easier proposition than trying to source it's service history if it were missing - relatively speaking of course. I'm also assuming that its service history is one that supports such low Kms.

    R33 N1

Absolutely not! If I were to buy a good R34 GTR V-Spec today for $45K, I'd be able to insure it for $45K - its true value - not under - not over. If I bought that R33 GTR V-Spec N1 today for $35K landed and complied, I'd be able to insure it for $**K My guesstimate would be via a PM

Exceedingly tempting isn't it Aron - especially with so few Kms and Jap history!
  15. Looking forward to meeting you as a neighbour Mark. There's another SAU Member in Valley Heights and still another in Faulconbridge
  16. Desk is about 68"x32" Return is about 38"x19" attached by 2 screws
  17. Would you recommend (or not recommend) Benchmark or Meek, Scott? JEZ is who we like to use for GTRs of course.
  18. * big_d sold his mp3 R34 GT-R V-Spec and went across to the SL55 AMG. He said he's quite happy and rarely misses the GT-R (although I don't think Derek went to the track in it) * I'm not sure about the V8 M3, but when our eldest son Mark was alive and was a service advisor for BMW, he often came across M3s that had become sluggish. > the BMW technicians warmed up the cars > checked the DMEs for fault codes and history > gave the cars a thorough thrashing (including NRL coach Ricky Stuart's) > performance was immediately better (according to the owners who asked, "what'd you do to it?") * Me personally Anthony; for a contrasting performance car, I've been happy with the EVO 8MR (with Bilsteins). I mentioned that to Bob eh, at Casula one morning. > it's chuckable > after removing restrictions > replacements; like the lower FMIC pipe, hot turbo pipe & 3" Invidia exhaust > much more seamless acceleration, bottom end power and midrange And it was a damn cheap Grade 4.5 (with full Japanese history) through JLM [/u Mitsubishi paint is frightfully thin at 120 microns tho'
  19. Whoa - another mountain man!!! Sure thing Mark: you're "IN" And we have another guest folks... From FRANCE, we have SAUer, kartman9400 who'll be an honorary SAU.NSW member on the night. His name is Alex - and he owns a nice R33 GT-R LM Welcome Alex! We're nearly full up with one sleep to go!!!
  20. That's what Jaimi was wanting to check too.
  21. Good stuff! That's what a daily is meant for! Just got a new exhaust for mine... ...as well as hot turbo pipe, lower intercooler pipe > breathes easier now.
  22. LIKE! Great contrast!
  23. They are flimsy/fragile aren't they?
  24. I'm old enough to relive my childhood
  25. Yeah well Sydney is just down the hill from you eh Tony! Actually, we feel privileged that you're attending! You're an honorary SAU.NSW Member for the night!
