  1. Apply to GTRsean to get onto a "reserve list" and he'll attend to you. If no reply within 2 days, PM Aggroman instead or any other Exec.
  2. Just because a person is on Ps, it does NOT mean that they should be penalized with curfews. What a curfew does is to restrict that driver from gaining experience. Commonsense? Gaining one's Ps does NOT mean that one has become a qualified quality driver. It means that one has logged up time behind a wheel and passed a couple of tests. A qualified quality driver is a person who understands the car's limits, his own limits, and the marriage between the two under adverse road conditions, weather conditions and reading the traffic. Commonsense? P drivers should be allowed to drive up to the speed limits on any carriageway. It's called "traffic flow"! Any driver who drives more than 10% higher, more than 10% lower or weaves between lanes in dense traffic upsets that flow. P drivers are part of good traffic flow and should NOT be restricted to an 80Km/hr rule in a 100 zone. Commonsense?
  3. ...seems like we're now playing a game of, "Do you know an honest caryard?" This begs the question, "Would you prefer to think the caryard that you're dealing with is honest, even if it isn't?"
  4. We'd rather see your body suspended and aligned tonight!
  5. nowhere near you obviously
  6. Warned quite a few one day last week... about an accident ahead and banked up traffic. That's about the extent I go to... -mean ol' cuss
  7. Did the missing Prizewinner PM you Nick?
  8. You reached in first to get the 'bird' Sean and all you came up with were a handful of 'feathers'
  9. yeah those balls are damn hard Had a go with my Dad's bench drill for the first time.
  10. Whilst money is tight atm, those businesses are going to be at death's door. Frankie? Well he's probably shifting cash off to Vanuatu by now.
  11. Great thanks! Nice effort on your part too
  12. buggers
  13. The point is; those dodgy car yards are superficially raising the value and justify the asking price of their cars by winding back the odometers. In turn, it makes the honest establishments have to fight harder to make their sales. They'd even lose some that they shouldn't have lost. Kids with honest Dads go hungry No, not you Rick D
  14. My gratitude for 6U9000BNR34402974
  15. According to that article ^ ^ ^ Matthew, Creak has resurfaced 20 yrs later after being suspended in 1992. In 2000 he was running Cars Autohaus Thornleigh when our family dropped in to look at a BMW523i that had been advertised by him as a '98 with multifunction steering wheel. In fact it was an early '97 with a plain steering wheel and less airbags. He cracked a fit when I asked nicely about his mistaken advert. After we'd bought it, Creak would only honour aspects of the warranty that he could readily fix in the workshop - not others. I also pushed for an Inspection II to be done on the car before takeover - but hey, who knows what went on in the service area. Other than that, the car was pristine. Typical side-tank, fan clutch and other water issues that BMW has tho' The article in last night's TT was nearly gagged by Creak in the Supreme Court before airing. I hope tonight's Part II isn't just an epilogue/summary and contains more meat. I think that Frank whatever-his-name-is needs to be investigated by the ATO besides those caryard cowboys going to gaol as Bob alluded to.
  16. Ta Kristian and others. Not sure if we can squeak this into All Japan Day. Will make contact about that.
  17. yes... VS2 Nur
  18. The footage clip from Dan's car was quite shocking. Not sure if it's still available or taken down. You never know when your number is up but at that track at that speed, the gauntlet gets thinner.
  19. Yes, that Ian C***k spits the dummy really quick doesn't he? He nearly caused us to walk away after a sudden rant session. That Porsche was wound back from 19*,***Km to 9*,*** - WTF And that dude Frank was so open about the dash removal > when confronted, he just played dumb. It was pathetic that he was so busy with winding back odometers, he had to take a leak against a building so as to complete his 'jobs'
  20. WOW is right Corinne. The going rate "in cash" to Frank for winding back the odo is $150. He had a stack of $50 notes in change for $200 handover in a public carpark. TT Producer had his odo wound back too for good measure of course.
  21. Three places are implicated on TT (yeah that dastardly show) for winding back odometers. They are Pennant Hills Ford, SUV Sales Lansvale and TopGear Cars Chatswood. Pretty damning footage. Anyone see it (-meaning, do you admit to watching TT hehe...)? Prestige cars were included. CEO of Pennant Hills Ford, formerly CEO of Cars Autohaus sold my wife and I a car with low Kms. Now I wonder if he had the Kms wound back. The car has been sold on now. Part II of the story is on tomorrow...
  22. Here we are... And... Thanks in advance...
  23. Trouble is... Willpower is "Conscious" Whereas, Habit is "Subconscious" Therefore, Hypnosis being "Subconscious" as well, has a better chance. Especially when Tobacco companies insert a substance (amongst many) in cigarettes called Ammonia. What Ammonia does is that it creates an instantaneous reaction with Nicotine as it passes through the filter. Reason? The Ammonium salt makes the nicotine more addictive on the human. Spin? The tobacco companies try and tell you that the Ammonia helps the cleansing action in the filter = BS Want a layman's check? Look and listen to the film called "The Insider" played by our Russell Crowe If you must use Willpower, snip off the filter eh? Willpower works better if a) you're under the weather with a cold/flu b) it's your very first attempt (ie autosuggestion) c) you're shocked into quitting by a surgeon who reads out the riot act. By the second attempt, success is 30x harder eh? That's because the seed of doubt has been sown. And that's suggestive.
  24. Many thanks Dave for My car has already been sold, but the one in the link is also so superb; and only 47,000 genuine Kms too. I think r0bstr already has his eye on one, but he'll need to satisfy himself that there's no rust, has Jap/Oz history documented; and if modified, that comp tests and AFR graphs are satisfactory > yaddayadda.
  25. 3 sleeps to go, before free food and drink at Penriff And Stags are the best things out, to take home all da doggy bags
