  4. Not many GT-Rs around without a shred of rust. And this is one eh Longz?
  5. I'd never say that Acupuncture would be the silver bullet for you, but it put my Vancouver uncle's MS into remission + my Acupuncturist partner (now 94 years old) was once tricked into disobeying a client's pulses and acceded into bringing on her period (as she said they were always late). Little did Tom know till a friend of hers came in 2 months later and said he'd succeeded in procuring an abortion for her. It might be hit or miss; but there's that old NT Tourist Commission adage that says, "You'll never never know if you never ever go!". Personally I'd try it before they cut out part of your intestines/bowel eh?
  6. Crohn's is regarded as chronic and most of the time unmanageable. But I told a great neighbour to try acupuncture and she's over it now. Been in remission for 6 years but still needs to abstain from gluten & alpha gliadin foods. IBS can also be caused by Yeast sensitivity which blood tests are notorious for giving off false +ves or false -ves. Dr William Crookes Questionnaire is better IMHO
  7. Yes limited sunlight & graveyard shifts reduce one's immune system through impaired D3 and Melatonin production. Even reflected sunlight is good. But most window films are not so. Supplementation of 10-20mg/day according to Hyperhealth prevents... Cancer of... Brain Breast Colon Endometrium Kidney Liver Lung Ovary Prostate of various types as well as Melanomas I didn't know that there were over 6 different types of breast cancer till 3 yes ago.
  8. Thanks in advance for fasting this one for me. 6U9000BNR34402974

  10. So to prevent... Skin Cancer > taking melatonin Liver Cancer > taking milk thistle and apricot kernels Prostate Cancer > taking pumpkin seeds Bladder Cancer > taking cranberries Bowel Cancer > taking willow bark Stomach Cancer > taking neem Why do I not have any money left in the bank? > Become a Naturopath > A legit Dealer lol ...and if I were a girl... Breast Cancer > I'd take tofu Ovarian Cancer > resveratrol in red grapes Cervical Cancer > vaccine or chaste tree bark (with premature cellulite as a marker) Umm... Pancreatic Cancer > a painful one > I'll have to look that one up. It killed Steve Jobs and Patrick Swayzey eh?
  11. No use learning info unless you can share it - lol But yes, thanks to you zoo animals - bird and zebra - lol * Antihistamines a) it's OK to mix and match them b) Pseudoephedrine is not a true antihistamine c) a person tends to develop a tolerance to an antihistamine formula over time (and gets less and less effective); so if you have a chronic condition that requires constant use, it pays to change it to a different one every 4 months. This means 3x different formulae per year on rotation > yes, the first one you used is effective once again. Personally, I'd try and get to the bottom of the problem. * Vega Testing a) The machine is not intrusive (compared to scratch-skin tests) b) The results are repeatable c) Whether or not they're reliable is questionable according to two opposite camps Rationale:- The machine has two wires poking out of it. #1 goes to a solution with a potential allergen in it #2 goes to a metal probe that's pressed against the side of a digit like your thumb. When the machine is turned on, the pitch of the noise emitted (if high) tells us that you're allergic > move the #1 electrode to the next potential allergen and so on. It's interesting how the machine will give off the same high pitch if you go back to the offending allergen > and yet on someone else's thumb, it won't. Hope this helps...
  12. Tally up the 5 months and 3 weeks on your calendar till April 2012 and hope it isn't on April Fools Day - lol > better not drive that day! lol
  13. I thought only Alfa Owners had to resort to this mentality!
  14. John O'Sullivan Margaret O'Sullivan $120 paid 12/10/11 They're happy to sit anywhere
  15. Surface area to deflect sound waves whilst minimally restricting flow.
  16. You seem to be responsible & welcome! The primary objective is to get a really good, rust-free and well cared for Skyline in the first place; then build on that as a base. Take a mechanic/panel beater friend with you as you inspect + you'll have your own checklist (so you're focussed rather than caught up with the emotion).
  17. Checklist before going to ENT (and helping him/her diag-nose) * Dust Mite allergy Symptoms:- Blocked nose, but especially on waking. Either side or both sides affected. Try:- Allersearch pillow cover > if that works a bit > Allersearch mattress cover > should work even more > Dust Mite Spray & air out the room (+ often too) * Allergy to mould Symptoms:- Blocked nose, but usually both sides Try:- Killing mould in house + repaint with antimould paint + if it's wet under house > improve drainage around house + if rising damp up the walls > insert lead flashing/membrane + fix roof + lop trees over house * Allergy to airborne Symptoms:- Seasonal blocked nose, either or both sides Try:- Antihistamine > ENT or Naturopath who has Vega Testing * Allergy to foods Symptoms:- Blocked nose on both sides and chest can get tight Try:- Antihistamine > EPI Pen if anaphylaxis is setting in, ENT or Naturopath with Vega Testing * Deviated Septum Symptoms:- Blocked on one side and same side Try:- ENT preferably a younger one who is also a surgeon * Polyps Symptoms:- Blocked on the side/s where they're growing Try:- ENT * Yeast Sensitivity Symptoms:- Blocked nose on either one or both sides + bloated tummy + wind + foggy thinking. It manifested after antibiotics. Try:- Probiotic eg Inner Health Plus > if it returns, see Naturopath to treat Candida albicans (yeast sensitivity)
  18. Nice resurrection too
  19. Umm about a month; yeah just a month. Hehe.... Your post has turned this into a "Sympathy Thread" haha. Actually... It's more an "Empathy Thread" So Thanks!
  20. For anyone intending to buy the HKS F-Con V-Pro (if it is the Pro) ECU in Sydney, the recommended places that'll help you tune your car with it are... * Tune House at Marrickville * Dart Automotive at Punchbowl Hope this helps...
  21. If the Melatonin works, then the +ve knock on effect is that * there'll be less jetlag on E>W flights or W>E * your immune system rises to prevent about 20 different types of cancer Older people tend to produce less Melatonin > sleep less hours > more prone to cancer But... * if you need to do a #1 in the middle of the night, it's better NOT to turn the toilet light on ie. do it sitting down. Turning on the light can stimulate Melatonin production and reduce the capacity to get off to sleep again. Principle:- Daylight helps to produce Melatonin > Nighttime helps to secrete/utlise Melatonin > Soporific effect
  22. Are many of you guys coming with your missus'? Jim Richards and Fred Gibson are coming with theirs. So drag the ladies along! Jokes on the night will be only a little less crass.
  23. ^ ^ ^ Lovan being a Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor helped to hold your Serotonin together l-Tryptophan is a precursor for the production of Serotonin. Could be that you don't quite manufacture enough Serotonin in that case. Could be that periodic use of l-Tryptophan will be helpful then. It's product called "S.A.D." available from naturopaths, or chemist/healthfood places that have a naturopath on deck or yours truly.
  24. Oh - how come that's not well known? I certainly don't expect you - our friendly copper - to change the law; but it would certainly help goodwill between the public and the force if it was publicised that the police are not only required to be able to use the radio whilst driving, but also the mobile. So I take it that police do not have to have sirens/lights on to be able to use the mobile whilst in motion? We the public can get pinged for using the mobile after having pulled over to the kerb, but still have the engine idling eh?
  25. JDM Performance is here as an NSW SAUer Eugene's No. = 0421.141.538 Definitely give him a call
