  1. The TME 6.5 at JapLink has now been sold $25K (without SAU Member discount of course) > Melbourne But R32 GT-R V-Spec I is still there > SAU Member discount brings it down into the 20s
  2. detailed story Nathan > of help to many Shannons have a reputation to protect and seem to have good Claims Customer Service. They also cover 1 windscreen damage per year without affecting Excess. Very strict about past speeding fines and loss of licence. Lumleys Special Vehicles:- I don't know what they're like in Claims Customer Service... but they're marketing to Car Clubs and making their premiums highly competitive + they cover all glass once a year (including side/rear windows) Just Car doesn't cover any glass damage at this time, even if Customer Service is fair/reasonable. Premiums seem to be somewhat higher than those above & it's like pulling teeth to get them to offer parity of Sum Insured. Must go through AAMI repairers (and they pick the lowest quote) NRMA even tends to offer lower Sum Insured than those above. Guild Insurance is only offering cover for existing grey import customers and not taking on new business of our genre at this time.
  3. And it's true isn't it, that this ^ ^ ^ is quite common amongst us Asians who have small mandibles & big teeth?

  5. Not enough! You'll also require toothbrushes and toothpicks+ pay the balance in blood
  6. Hi, I'm after a set of 19" LMGT4s (10.5") with +15 offset preferably in rare Black (umm, I know I may have to powdercoat a regular colour). $4K for great cond (but I might consider 18" at the moment).
  7. I have 80x $50 notes for sale. I shall accept... a) 81x $50 notes (soiled condition acceptable) or b) 4x black LMGT4 wheels 18" or preferably 19" (10.5") with about +15 offset & in great condition. A few $50 notes may fly off somewhere if the condition is not so great. "b)" is just another form of currency!!!
  8. That thread that Jvd referred to is superb. I had an R33 GT-R for 2yrs + 1 day and I bought it at around 70,000Kms too - appeared quite genuine from history and lack of visible wear/rust and no visible panel/engine removal. Problems over that period included oil pump > engine out. So check for any oil leak front the front crank collar. 2pce tailshaft went weak and had to be replaced. That's it. Although coilpacks/looms and air flow meters can require replacement with age/hard use Lovely car! I'd have no hesitation in getting one if it's the right one; so try several if you can unless it's superb and at the right price. If need be, get it checked out by someone experienced with RBs. I've had 2 GT-Rs since and am about to get another.
  9. And you & I are still after our LMGT4s
  10. When a restaurant patron can't pay for his meal, he's supposed to clean all the pots/pans/dishes/utensils What can you do for Tune House if they tune your car and you can't cough up?
  11. Damn M2 Repairs scheduled what with 40 zone! Might have to go via Windsor Rd Nick?
  12. I was wondering about risk of infection underneath if there's already periodontal disease and other gum diseases - even if the Snapon teeth are only in place for 12 hrs?
  13. Good choice. They're light too being made by BBS

    scarce as hens' teeth eh?
  15. Ummm..., how about that article on Today/Tonight Corinne, where they showed "Snapon Teeth"??? Pretty impressive! You'd never know if there were yucky teeth underneath until after the wedding day!!! http://au.news.yahoo.com/today-tonight/health/article/-/7980732/perfect-teeth/
  16. ^ ^ ^ you got short arms and deep pockets?

  18. Any assigned table of 10 should have a Title such as Full Name (of a leader) or Club and if you can, supply Aggroman with a Logo that can be converted to a DL size. There will be DL sized stands on each table, and it'll help with ushering (by restaurant staff) and/or you finding your table at the outset! Drinks will be paid for, from each table (as they're being served). BTW, I'm "IN", God_speed is "IN", my wife is "IN" > Payment paid to a Platinum Partner (and their table) > SAU via invoice
  19. I get off on the smell of 'em > IN (as my last evening client has just cancelled)
  20. Very nice Vu! Hope you took the ribbons off before travelling? Otherwise there's "V" shape shading on your bonnets
  21. +1 > Funny thing happened on the way out of the Auto Salon, when one guy said, "There's more to see outside than inside" = QFT
  22. Good on ya guys! The map will be up soon, compliments of Nick + his updates on attendees!
  23. I don't really care much what car a person has, whether it be a Corolla or a Corvette. If he's keen to take care of it, services it, & respects his car's limitations as well as his own, he has the makings of an enthusiast. One thing you've learned is the influence of the weight factor (speaking nothing yet about brakes and suspension). In 5 years time, look back over this thread you've started and relay to us what else you've learned by 2016, and by then we'll all know if you are an enthusiast. And one more thing: I'm sure your learning curve will be steeper as you join up and come to various events!
  24. That might not be a bad idea after all Pat! ...if both of you had time on your hands that is.
  25. I like red!
