  1. What's the condition of the moulding around the rear window?
  2. ^ ^ ^ This comment reminds me of a story that emerged in the Sydney Morning Herald in the 80s. A man with a sh!tbox car pulled over to the side of the M4 with a flat tyre. > He opened up the boot to get out the jack, spare etc > He heard a door open up and looked around the rear fender towards the front > The bonnet was going up > He yelled out to the dude under the bonnet, "Hey WTF are you doin'???" > The guy looked back from the front and said, "Aw you can have the wheels. I'm just taking the battery"
  3. Hehe..... Not very often does Commonsense win over Bureaucracy.
  4. Nice! 2 door looks well balanced too.
  5. Release form uh? I'll only sign a 'release' form that caters for half the population ie. MEN. All NON-MEN cannot be released & must therefore be restrained - in chocolate!
  6. Simon, this-s-s-s is the R34 one! Yes "WRRR" the really loud one is... And as "Piggaz" says, Glen's one being advertised above, is for the R33 GT-R; and when Paul took me around the street with it on, that RB sound was magnificent to behold! It's a great buy for some lucky fellah! I would call Glen now!
  7. The positive aspect is that in NSW, an unregistered car can't be defected.
  8. ^ ^ ^ Fixed V V V Chocolate Wrestling
  9. ^ ^ ^ Very very occasionally, there's a Japanese man who has more money than brains. When you find him, don't forget to put that exclusive "Made in Australia" sticker on the Selbys rear sway bar.
  10. You're correct that Toluene (aka Methylbenzene) will increase Octane and RON much better than the booster bottle. Caution:- Methylbenzene is highly carcinogenic, so it must be added outside and downwind from your face.
  11. ^ ^ ^ Oh Johnny, at least welcome dalv to SAU before you say things like that - lol Oh yes dalv... WELCOME TO SAU
  12. I'm not sure if it's correct or incorrect that the GT-T or GT Bayside Blue paint might just be the standard >110 microns thickness. I'm aware that it will still have the same colour code. I just know that when the B/Blue GT-R is parked next to a clean Blue Mazda 3, the B/Blue paint does look deeper.
  13. Ideas still welcome with regard to 2012 planning. Helping out with Texis will be appreciated too pls.
  14. CANDY ? ? ? For the ladies, we're running a "Chocolate Cruise" early 2012!!! Max Brenner > Zokoko > Blue Mtns Chocolate Factory including Demo ! ! !
  15. Re: GT-Rs Production Numbers of R34s are appreciably lower than R33s or R32s dalv Hope you find yours. After I sold my R33 GT-R, I waited 3 years before my first R34 GT-R (going through a 5th Gen Prelude > 328Ci BMW > 4th Gen Prelude waiting.... waiting....).
  16. +1 And ensure the cca rating is up to scratch. If you want to bypass the labour, some Battery World or K Mart outlets will exchange for free (as you listen to their #%£¥?^!) lol And ask them to attach a battery pack during exchange so you don't lose your radio settings etc
  17. Once you apply heat, the molecules in the plastic try to get into their former configuration of alignment.
  18. To this... http://www.hotsexyangelinajolie.com/img-angelina-jolie-waving-to-her-fans-1102.htm I'd wave back
  19. plenty of car collectors further out towards minto - they're so smart, you can lock up your car and keep the key & they can still collect
  20. B/Blue has a much thicker base coat + extra top coat. Peter CEO of Bodyform Aero says that he warns all B/Blue GT-R owners that bodykits need to painted with a thicker and appropriate base coat; otherwise the Blue won't look as deep.
  21. According to the paint thickness meter and Nissan Japan, the Bayside Blue is >320 microns thick Other paints including MP are >110 microns thick
  22. Alpine INA-W900E??? Yep - Great unit. In my GT-R - Crystal clear, Great GPS, Blue Tooth, iPod and extra outlets for eg turbo timer etc
  23. Bronze for mean look. Gold for bright crisp look.
  24. Hi Pat, I've been giving your thread some more thought. Reading on the lines of your last post, many people might think the concept silly or outrageous. Vertical thinking implies that the ideas on this here thread are at the very least, quirky or odd. But it's when I read between the lines, I see where you're coming from!!! You see, lateral thinking demonstrates how TV shows like "Candid Camera" and "Just Kidding" became successful! Well how about another one of the same ilk??? Consider this.... A 'car' is being sold on a vacant lot. A very large sign is placed at the side of this said 'car'. It says "50% OFF!!!" Some SAU stooges come up and start fighting over the 'car'. The winning bidder gets in the 'car' and drives off in his front Half-cut FWD! I can only guesstimate that these great ideas tho' will require time, personnel and a decent budget.......
  25. If you have the occasional "domestic", the best car for dropping her off is from the cargo area of the Cube Take note... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Tq2-yFU9_M I've tried doing this to my wife in the 530i but there's either... a) not quite enough torque or... b) I can't drive as well as Duncan
