  1. Best to become a full member anyway Matthew as they get 1st bite of the cherry > problem solved. A major event will be happening late November and it's open to members first. Last year, it was sold out in 4 days.
  2. Instruction #1:- Drive like a bat outta hell from A to B (saving 30 sec) Instruction #2:- At B, let engine purr (for 30 sec) whilst your blood pressure returns to normal Instruction #3:- Turn engine off > on time - every time Warning:- The shorter the distance between A to B, the faster you have to drive to stay on time. I know. I have this dream all the time.
  3. Yep it's a good formula + Coenzyme Q10 100mg daily to strengthen muscle cell walls + keeping up with protein foods + green/red/orange colored veg as antioxidants that reduce lactic acid buildup Selenium is a strong antioxidant too, which reduces "free radicals"
  4. Human error & Man-made laws can never be perfect. If there's malingering or malintent, that's when one should complain. I just shake my head when justice becomes a casualty of adversarial law. And I further shake my head when people are on about rights rather than responsibility - and that goes for the lawmakers as well as Mr Citizen.
  5. Sunday 2nd Oct... Daylight Saving begins and Long Weekend !
  6. You've let the GENIE outta the bag Nick!!!
  7. You've let the genie out of the bag Nick!!!!
  8. IN - with whatever car I can Nick - 'er nick!
  9. I tried to bid too low for a 3rd Gen '88 Prelude that had done only 106000km with logs. Missed out on the $4500 car. Back then it could outslalom all lambos/ferraris/porsches. Mechanical 4ws is reliable whereas electronic 4ws on 4th Gen is not. God_speed was driving his 3rd Gen through some mild twisties and the Falcon in trying to keep up, careened off into a rock wall. Panels flying off.......
  10. Sylvia for track/drift and upgrades 3rd Gen Prelude for texi/slaloms
  11. I came up the Old Bathurst Rd at 8.45pm so I missed this > hoping that all are well too...
  12. Sorry Sam - I needed them all the same size.
  13. Ta ^ ^ ^ for clearing those up.
  14. Hehe... Will you admit it if you're defected? How can I ask such a stupid Q of Pat? Of course he will! Poser Q:- Can a car be defected if it's on private property? Poser Q:- Can a car be defected on federal property such as a university campus?
  15. Tried "Niswreck" in SA?
  16. Silver V-Spec II R32 GT-R with nice BBS rims at JapLink ATM. Pretty sure they'll come down to your price range & they have warranty. You'll have to check with them about Jap history, but I think it's also rust-free.
  17. Recent home conversation probably ends up like this... Mrs D: What happened dear? Rick: Those damn grey import importers! Every 10th car is a Skyline!
  18. Damelian (P/L) is in receivership. Debt = $80,000,000
  19. There's always ONE
  20. Thanks Michael & ML73ZR... I realise that ^ ^ ^ whilst apologising to wifie saying, "Guess what! Something else has come up!" Yes, she's hard to let go of. And it doesn't make it any easier knowing that many friends here on SAU would chop off their li'l finger for the above. > A deposit was accepted to-day!
  21. That's very kind of you Chris, and rest assured, your message will be passed on. I hope the person who bought your car recognises that you're an enthusiast too.
  22. Not really Andrew; just trying to make an "impression"
  23. Don't we feel the least sorry for Eagle Boys/Domino/Crust for making 1000s of pizzas each night for people who'll never pay? And what about the "GTFO"s that the delivery boys cop + the fuel they use up? At least pay me decent money to take my 'good book' to read to her! And after I smash her in the face with it you'll all identify her with the embossed title on her forehead that reads,... "ELBIB YLOH EHT"
  24. You got it. And it's good that the GTR is going to someone who'll take care of her.
