  1. For $53K and if you're patient you can probably get a V-Spec.
  2. Only if you have all the paperwork... * Japanese dereg * Auction sheet * Logs (but this is often missing) * Aussie receipts for purchases * Tuner Report or access to discuss with the tuner If not then a paid report from JOC aka Japanese Odo Check
  3. My premiums went up yesterday by 7% at VVC
  4. These are great pumps and prime very quickly.
  5. Yup I hear ya Tony. Fb cannot compete against SAU's technical information - either in reliability or validity. SAU will always have these strengths. Even visitors from NAGTROC etc pop up wanting to know this n that now.
  6. Where we've held Tech Nights and Tech arvos so far have been... * National Tyre Wholesalers * Wholesale Suspension - re preparing the car for the track * JLM - re servicing * Meguiar's - re detailing and wraps * JEM - re builds * Heasman's - re suspension components * Top Secret Imports * DBA - re brakes * Syrios - re engineering certification and defect clearing * Carbon Car Systems - re security * LiquiMoly - re additives and lubrication * JEM - re ECUs and tuning * Nulon - re oils and contaminants Ones coming up... * HyperSound - re dash cams and sound * Pulse Racing - preparing for dyno All have been free (although one tuner wanted to charge so SAU.NSW have switched across to Pulse Racing). Most hosts put on a bbq. All hosts receive an SAU Certificate afterwards PS Is there anyone here who is willing to inspect 4 magnesium wheels for me at the Gold Coast. Am willing to pay $10/wheel for evidence of cracks, repairs or anything suss. Sorry for the intrusion!
  7. In the old days, most Membership Applications were completed or secured at cruises. Where SAU thrives and is so often sourced is through technical info and build info. Every SAU.NSW Tech Day is virtually booked out. And that's where our Membership Applications come from these days. By calling places who are willing to host Tech Arvo or Tech Night, the CEOs can see the benefit of a win-win. They benefit and the Club benefits and the members benefit. Don't let the Club go down please?
  8. That's about the right money at $48K And you can always add V-Spec cosmetics later on.
  9. I have the OEM MNP GTR wheels. I just need the car itself.
  10. That article is good because it's eclectic and joins the right dots. Thanks for posting!
  11. I'm already 66, so I do a 6-1. It works. By the time my clients see me, they require hypnotherapy first and then I discuss (for metabolism's sake) the 5-2. I don't see many compulsive eaters over 60 to discuss a 6-1 hehe...
  12. Congrats to both buyer and seller. Threat of being BBQ fuel was too intrusive.
  13. Close up of the Attain
  14. I'm innocent. Now for the polish.
  15. VVC arm of NRMA you can still negotiate with, it seems Longz. If you're not happy just ask them to get back to you within a couple of hours-days.
  16. $433 off from $1133 beggars belief!!!!!! Why am I not surprised though that an insurance company might attempt to hedge after only a year?
  17. RIPPER! Got 4 plus mins of vid on the day too!
  18. Do you work on refrigeration units on vans too?
  19. Yup, top and bottom with wavy patterns. Prepsol used initially to remove wax/dirt. AutoGlym Paint Renovator (or your cutting compound) next to permit Sikaflex to grab.
  20. Yes YF, but the piece is springy and it's not quite flush so... Stage 1:- Using Sikaflex on the top part after measuring correct fit Stage 2:- After curing, Sikaflex the bottom part but drilling two holes which cannot be seen and fitting two screws. End Result:- The fit is perfect.
  21. Thanks for the constructive discussion guys. When Redline_GTR next sees the car, perhaps he (Chris) can tell us. He manufactures and prints stickers and decals.
  22. Does it rain at your "home" Ravi?
  23. B/C Pillar Interior trims are sold. GReddy Gracer Side Skirts are reduced now to $320.
  24. To prevent the stickers attached under bonnet from fading... ...apparently it's best to put the bonnet up when you get home. Thanks Fiji Gold
  25. Thanks Rob and Anthony. a) 3" system is fine with me b) wiping the soot off at the end of a run - inside the bell - seems to be advisable c) the restrictive elbow before the muffler was cut, so the system remains straight d) I think I bought it off Fb Rob - GTR's n GTR Parts I think.
