  1. If no-one comes to the AGM and I feel lonely, perhaps there'll be some single mothers at the club?
  2. Yes thanks Chris
  3. When there's a clash of dates, this is a chance to be a two-timer.
  4. After arguing through 6 emails 3/side, I finally got consent from an NRMA assessor that the rubber moulding end piece at the front will be replaced. My final straw was telling them that Volvo wouldn't allow the car to come out of the factory like that ie with two distinct dents in it and the upper edge lifting.
  5. Like "Bean", I shall skulk away...
  6. ^ What Brett says.
  7. I need to try out my ARB Intensity AR32 spotties. Maybe even buy a foghorn since the Navara has a compressor. Lmao
  8. Going to pull it to pieces and make a blue anodised clutch reinforcement bracket out of it Ravi?
  9. ...told my Mum, they've moved Mother's Day to Saturday this year.
  10. So let's be the judging panel on "Japan's Got Talent"!
  11. Come to Texi - learn manual - no traffic - no hard obstacles - helmet obscures laughter - make your own fun.
  12. Actually your question is coincidentally very timely. A group in USA called "Chasing Classic Cars" held a static display at Blackhawk Museum on May 3rd (so just 2 days ago). There were 900 cars on display. And not one was a Skyline according to my friend L Barry Chafin who races RX8s over there. IMHO, much will depend on how much the R32 GTRs will be cherished and then admired. L Barry I think believes that word will spread about the beloved BNR32 like wildfire. He says (being in the know) that he wants one himself. So if L Barry is correct, the demand for the BCNR33 in 2020 looks promising. But it all hinges on growth of demand at Japanese auctions for the R32 GTR. I'm wondering if our USA neighbours have eyes on R32 GTRs in UK, Asia and here. I'm an Admin of another car club which includes international members and that is why I'm familiar with the above.
  13. PJ and Ravi, he would have turned his siren/lights on 5x in that 20Km+ stretch - 1 car behind me and 4 in front. About six of us drivers stayed some ways back but keeping pace due to our inquisitiveness. I hope this is a directive from a superintendent so there's more of this to come!
  14. I'd love to meet new Members next Sunday!
  15. 2:06pm yesterday westbound along the M4 all the way to Northern Rd... Highway Patrol Copper turning on siren/lights at every single lane hog in lane 3, and herding them back into lane 2. From behind, us motorists could read the moving text saying, "Keep Left Unless Passing" What a sight for sore eyes!
  16. Congratulations guys. You've got momentum now! I do hope your cars aren't and don't become (what we call over here) 'thief magnets'!
  17. Seven sleeps to go!
  18. Great accurate record Adam.
  19. A Lay-by has been placed on the GReddy Gracer side skirts. Balance needs to be completed by 1st November. Tomei sump baffle plate has been reserved too.
  20. When I was a young whippersnapper, you could...
  21. Hehe... Much appreciated Dave. Yes, no more 8.30am-10.30pm days of old.
  22. I can't thank Terry and Trish enough. I'm confident to refer people on to them. It's still wonderful at my age to keep on learning. Tis great to reacquaint with fellow Members but also meet Jaeyon and Brad.
  23. Our billiard table is covered with wifeys hoarded junk. Sh!t
  24. Being sons of our Mothers - and with sunlight emitted from our backsides - an Annual General Meeting does sorta sound important enough to go to doesn't it? Or am I just rationalising?
