  1. Is Smart Repair being swamped by Faulconbridge and Springwood cars Adrian? NRMA has been using two local hail assessment centres; one at Emu Plains and the other at Lawson. We went to Lawson.
  2. All the best Adrian
  3. For the 2nd, 3rd and 4th yr, if it's full dealership warranty and the 'terms and conditions' are comprehensive, personally, I'd pay the $1,100. Other aftermarket warranties are very suss and leave gaps for the insurer to wriggle out of. The reasoning behind why I'd seriously consider it is because by the end of the 4th year the car would be close to 200,000Km so... a) breakages often occur as the Kms get that high eg a/c compressor or condensor etc; even though I have great faith in Honda's quality as Matt above said. b) you might wish to sell the car before the next 200,000Km major service and it's easier to do that with a bit of warranty still remaining But go over the terms and conditions with a fine tooth comb and record explanations (by the dealer) to your Qs on your 'voice recorder' (which most people never use).
  4. 'Tis all a multitasking exercise of... a) remembering the course b) feet c) hands d) eyes e) chewing gum lol
  5. Yes, it's insured (as a Genki) for $17,400, so the damage doesn't come into the 80 percentile whereby it could become a write-off. Volvo XC T6 - $3,400 for PDR only. * Note that after the panels are all smooth again... a) all dented mouldings are mandatory replacement items so that no water can enter any crevices * But... b) any scratches created by the hail are not covered and thus; no polishing is included in a hail claim * After I get the cars back, we'll have to see about that! I shall need proper lighting to reflect and refract any scratches, because unless the paint is in its former condition, I believe that according to the PDS, I have a case for complaint.
  6. Mazda2 - $9000 including roof replacement, painting as well as PDR. I wonder if it would have been less for leaving it as a soft top convertible
  7. My turn to Car Pool Dale.
  8. Nice to see the R33s dominating the Photography section atm
  9. If I can get a BCNR33 N1 I might be tempted to have a re-run of my own wedding Lol
  10. That was quick. Got one thanks.
  11. To suit my BNR32 I'm after a Boss Kit to suit my Momo/Nismo Steering Wheel thanks.
  12. I've forgotten for the moment but he's quite friendly. Always after a good shot!
  13. Liking your beast!
  14. Ask JLM at Rydalmere. They did have a HKS... 0296383205
  15. Lol I did Irohazaka back in 1975 when there was no such thing as armco. It's a one way road down - and one way up. During the day you can visit the Cat Temple and at the bottom of the Iloha Slope of Irohazaka, you can eat lunch beside Lk Chuzenji. Wife will love that!
  16. Adrian, Is there anything on your PDS about salvage rights?
  17. Yes it's constantly updated. Hope to see you there. NSW is the strongest state for Tech Days thanks to a strong Exec. AGM is later that month too if you'd like to support the club.
  18. Silver R34 driving up Norton St Leichhardt last night turning right at the pub. You stopped for 3 of us on the crossing. Nice except for the rear bumper.
  19. I'll add cake to your coffee!
  20. Osaka:- The castle. Kyoto:- Big Buddhist temple on the mountain overlooking the city + Heian shrine complex Nara:- Ask JLM CEO Todd here at Rydalmere for a private viewing of a near new Hakosuka + Sanjosunjendo temple complex Tokyo:- Omori and Nissan + day car hire to Lk Chuzenji and Irohazaka. Google Irohazaka as one of the world's top driving roads. Up there along with Stelvio, Transvagarian, Taroko Gorges.
  21. I'd contact JLM (where technician Mizo used to work for Nissan Japan) or scroll up to Stagea Discussion. I only have diagrams for my BNR34 sorry.
  22. Thanks for the company which was great! Veal with mushies were terrific too.
  23. Has the VIN FAST checked out? Is there an extra set of factory welds in the engine bay (for stiffening? If so, may I congratulate you and add that I'm glad you didn't disassemble her! On SAU, there's also a Rare Skyline forum.
  24. Understand
