  1. Yeah last time I checked it was well under the $3k mark. Its obviously gone up. Just checked KMS. Over $5k. Feck that. Just jap wins by a mile .
  2. This thread is 2 & 1/2 years old. I doubt its still available
  3. This. If you really really want an atmospheric BOV (I dont know why because they attract attention and are soo cheesy and wanky) then you will need to move your AFM cold side of the intercooler and have the BOV located a fair distance up stream of the AFM. When you move the AFM youll need a proper retune. Moving the AFM doesnt always work either. Or switch to a MAP sensor based ECU. Best option? Retain the factory one.
  4. To be honest mate. It is more cost effective buy a brand new OEM Nissan gearbox. They are well under $3k from memory. I know just jap and kudos supply them. But I think they can be found cheaper than what they sell them for.
  5. Long shot.. Would you have a 34 radiator and or radiator shroud? Couldnt see them listed. Cheers.
  6. Dont do it! Factory plumb back BOV only. Do some research into how turbo AFM based engines work. Changing to an atmospheric BOV will make the car run like shit as said above.
  7. I will be using 7. One for each cylinder and one in the dump. For you. Use two. One in each dump pipe.
  8. ^^ Lol Your going to have to think pretty damn hard and come up with an epic design for your bleeding system.
  9. I do agree with mungy. Pull air from the quarter panels. I read a build up thread on a GTR that had done the same thing as you. They cam to the conclusion that using the quarter glass as the air inlet was the bes. They made up full carbon fibre ducting from each side into a main funnel of the rad. Fan was mounted underneath the rad in a pull config.
  10. http://www.efihardware.com/products/c340/Nissan-Connectors Brand new ones on that website
  11. http://www.efihardware.com/products/c340/Nissan-Connectors Bought mine from there. Pretty sure its the grey one off the top of my head
  12. Have you tried adjusting the base pressure when the engine is running? If not, do that and report back
  13. Err most aftermarket ECUs will happily read a hall effect or VR sensor from a crank trigger. If the AEM cant then its not a very good ECU. Link, adaptronic, motec, haltech, megasquirt, autronic, vipec etc etc can read a simple hall effect input. Although I believe the megasquirt prefers a VR sensor.
  14. No cant swap cams. Hydraulic cams in solid lifter valve train = no. If AEM says the disc will not work with a NEO then it probably wont work. Change to a crank trigger system or get a CAS disc custom laser cut.
  15. Nope.RB25 non NEO and NEO and RB26 share the same con rod length. NEO uses the same 'stronger' rod as the 26 though. OP - I have a full set of 34 NEO pistons and rods in excellent nic for sale, unless Simon still wants them?
  16. Does the car drive like that dip shows?? What has the tuner said? EDIT. I highly doubt its damaged turbine fins. Cam timing, nope. Just by looking at the graph, it looks like heaps of ignition timing is being pulled.
  17. Remove components that are in the way. Replace spark plugs. Replace all components that were removed.
  18. Interested in the following if you have it: Radiator fan shroud (Must be excellent nic) Rad upper and lower rubber mounts Might be interested in a radiator too - can be any condition even bin condition Friend might be interested in bare rear sub frame. Where in the hills are you? Cheers.
  19. You could probably get away with it but its a pretty stupid idea to have a non sealed battery inside a cabin. When in use they bubble of hydrogen gas.
  20. NEO's do not have that drain / breather pipe. Why Nissan deleted it, i have some idea. The restrictors for the oil feeds are much much smaller in a NEO than a non NEO RB25 due to the solid lifter's requiring less oil - Therefore less oil in the head negating the need for the 'drain'. I still think they should have retained it though. But some engineer deemed it not necessary. Your's is a street car yeah with factory oil pump and so on yeah? You can forget about any oil control issues.
  21. Revert back to mechanical fan with factory shroud. Done.
  22. Link G4 for sure. Preferably the Extreme wire in. Far far better than Haltech. We wont even compare it to a PFC haha. I hear Adaptronics are good and people like them. I would without a doubt buy an adaptronic over a Haltech and of course a PFC. Nistune is great for a street car that you want to keep legal looking. You can tune the engine and thats it.
