  1. been to a chiropractor? my little brother had a back issue when he was younger, turned out his hip was out of place slightly resulting in one leg being longer then the other.
  2. Maybe you also need to do some mobility exercise to opeb your hips and what not ip for squats
  3. Yeah I didn't pit Cuttler woth much of a chance. Personally hoping Kai would take ot away but of of the top 3 I thought Wolf had the best bod of the lot. No idea how the judges determine the winner of these events
  4. wtf is Tabata and Thrusters?
  5. surely you can get scans or whatever to find out 100% i am all through pushing past a ningaling injury, but if that is not what it is then you need to sort it asap dude
  6. When I gave sumos a go, I really felt it in my arse.
  7. Anyone watch Olympia? Heath won followed by Kai. Felt sorry for Kai he looked shattered Cutler made top 10 but not final 3, Wolf took third place
  8. I bet!! You can do more pull ups then I can lol Hard work pays off keep it up. Bet it takes your mind off some of the other things in your life
  9. Hey dan have you tried acupuncture on your leg thats hurting? I have heard good things about it for tight muscles
  10. Well done Leesh
  11. ye old TTT said that in the past
  12. yea, was funny when I was 16-20 I barely put any weight on. Hit 21 and got to 66 in no time, from 21-24 (on and off training) have made it to 70. Now getting over that 70 mark has been the challenge. I am thinking that I need roughly another 5kg of muscle and I'll be looking how I want to look, which is basically how I am now just bigger. But to reach that, I really need to sort my diet out so its a little more appropriate rather then just eating everything. Thanks Leesh
  13. yeah eating is hard. work has been in my ear about stopping to eat so much, but got to do what i can gets to a point when ive eaten so much, i feel like 1 more bite will result in spewville population me.
  14. and if i dont hit a good squat tonight, Im buying some squatting shoes after using them at PTC, they make a huge difference in stability
  15. as of late I have been eating anything and everything as well as really pushing myself at the gym. If I dont hit the same weight and reps from the week before or even improve on the last log, i do another set or two until i feel that I make up on it. That has been for all exercises in my routine. Also for the big lifts in my routine squats, deads, bench and overhead press, i mix up the rep range for my sets, generally 10-15, 10, and finish with 5.
  16. cheers, was stoked with the effort.
  17. also got a 90kg 1rm arse to grass squat last saturday and 110kg deadlift for 2 reps before my grip gave way on Monday
  18. broke the wall last week on bench. 55kg x 10 reps 60kg x 12 reps (last couple assisted) 70kg x 3 reps (5 with some assistance)
  19. you see those pictures of those women, but you never really know what they taking or doing. simplyshredded.com interviewed Zyzz there was no mention of steroids in his entire article. Even when it came to the supplement area. Also Christian Boeving appeared in the docco Bigger, Stronger, Faster and admitted to using steroids, he was fired by his supplement sponsors for what he said during his interview. Finally the power of Photoshop should not be forgotten. There have been a number of before and after shots done in the space of an hour, where someone (male and female) has gone from an average looking body, to abbs, pecks etc all through some subtle changes. Not saying its impossible, but its difficult. Chin up, do more and you'll get there eventually. As Ronnie Coleman said "Just got to get a little bit bigger" or smaller in your case, or bigger abs, however you want to look at it to achieve your goal.
  20. your picture at the start of the thread looks like you have girl abs? how much stomach definition are you looking at getting? Yes Dan you are correct, women are different to men, women generally have a higher BF% then males. Maybe try to increase the tempo or decrease the rest periods of your workout so you sweet a bit more? I know bodybuilders have long rest periods during their off season, but leading into comp time they decrease rest between sets. Food for thought. Speaking of food, have you had a close look at your diet? has it changed over the last 12 months? My cousin for example has no tolerance to carb. If he even smells pasta and rice he gains a kg.
  21. you have had some great improvements leesh, have you found much change to your appearance yet?
  22. my little brother had an issue with his back a few years back, turned out his hip was out of alignment or something. General GP spotted it and told him to go to a chiro who sorted it out. honestly could be so many things, I personally wouldnt want to give you the wrong advice.
  23. hard to say what to do Dan as we cant diagnose you online. ice and heat are treatments for different injuries, foam rolling might just help relax it. Mobility exercises might make it worse, etc
  24. I agree if I decide to give it a go id like to at least be competitive. Right now I don't think I would be
  25. Was using martial arts as an example. Have competed Robert Lisita also trained at Mark Hunts gym. All my main point is that cross fit isnt as bad as what boz has seemingly made it out to be. It has been around for along time just not called crossfit. It also isnt as good as cross fit makes it out to be. Dunno why max would laugh, good cash if you can win the main games. Good goal to go for imo. But if he is aiming for big things in power lifting that is fair enough as well. Markos I dont have many goals at the moment as far as working out. Aside from decent looking body and fot and healthy. Reckon I need about 10kg of muscle and a lot of fitness to reach the goal. I am however considering entering Trents ammature comp that is coming up.
