The market is flooded with every man and his dog trying to become a "Performance parts" business/dealer and the majority of then are only online based, have zero idea how to run or conduct a business, and lack fundamental product knowledge that is nessesary to sell such products. Several of these outfits are operated by young guys as well and provide no backup support if something goes wrong. Its all about making a quick buck.

Short answer no, not nessesary The standard rail will be fine

for 500HP there is no reason you cant retain the standard rods but have them nitroed, crack tested and prepped. Standard rods will handle the power without a problem though you should use ARP or Tomei rod bolts when you rebuild the engine.

Just Jap will be signficantly cheaper than purchasing it from Nissan

Hi all, Looking for some advice from those in the know as to what to do about valves when having an RB26 head serviced. Is it wise to replace them with new standard or aftermarket items? or can the existing valves be safely re-used? The head is having Tomei valve springs and bronze valve guides fitted so it seems logical to me to replace the valves also - I may be wrong If aftermarket valves are the go, which are the best to look for?
