  1. There are twin blade R33 rear spoilers. Pretty rare and expensive when you find them. Think they were a Nismo option or off the 400R
  2. Thanks for the heads up. It would be good if I could put a leading edge lip on the front of my undertray. Will e easy to do, only problem is I drive my car daily so god knows the Cossie is a nightmare being only 50mm off the ground...dont want the R32 to be the same so would have to be removable for daily driving duties....the ideal solution I have is too expensive so wont go there
  3. Well, I have a front undertray, though its not on the car at the moment as it makes a wheel alignment a pain and I need to get the car aligned and the oil cooler installed properly as the panel beater all that time ago didnt have the time to mount it properly. Also makes it a pain to get to the brake air guides etc which I can now finally finish because the Stoptechs are on and never coming off So when the boot lid goes on I will have the undertray on
  4. I have two bootlids, one is plain, the other has the std R34 GTR wing on it. I only did a 6-8 laps at Winton with the rear spoiler and I dont think it makes much of a difference. When I get a chance I want to throw the wings and boot lids on a trailer and test one day at Winton...since I am moving to within a 45min drive of Winton for a project there are going to be plenty of Friday practices that I run down for
  5. Yeh, looking at those photos there is more space then first appeared on tv. Thats racing on a street circuit
  6. Russ, that seems to have a lot of pull for 245rwkws. Dont tell me you have ImayhaveanRB25butitdoesntreallymakeanypowernotrulyitdoesntitsdown50rwkwsbecauseithasoldsparkplugs-itis
  7. I did just lost the plot with a coughing, laughing fit watching the first 45 seconds....nice work Martin. I LOVE the commentary. I guess that was your first session
  8. R34...my rear boot lid is drilled for the R34 wing currently installed so would like to use the existing holes
  9. Voltex, Cusco...does anyone know whats a reasonable product that I can source locally? Or if I have to import one, a place where I wont be charged a fortune for freight Something along the lines of...
  10. Yeh, the compressors are meant to be new and billet. Some of the US guys say they are mainly a Garret turbo so who knows where the 20G name basis comes from. Some inducate its a TD06L2 turbine with Garret centre and custome compressor...I cant really find out to be truthful.
  11. The billet wheels are meant to be lighter, and flow more for no increase in diameter. How is that a bad thing? Also the water cooled cartridge is a thing I would like as well. Dont get me started on BB vs non-BB, I was saying there was more to a turbo then being BB back in 2003 when i went my TD06 instead of 2835 and i copped years of flack for not going HKS but instead going "TRUCK TURBO" {lol, and proud}... so agree on BB meaning little. But a newer compressor that they seem to rate for an extra 20hp that would mean better transient response ... why wouldnt you ask for it...ditto the water cooled centre????? ...that all said, if there was only a few dollars in it, wheels, housings etc all the same....I would still like a BB centre over a plain bearing turbo. Provided the cartridge is of good quality
  12. So can somebody who has bought or contacted Kando ask about the 20G-XTR billet wheels and ball bearing, water cooled centres that the US STI gusy etc are starting to run??? If he can use his shaft and turbines on those compressor wheels and cartridges with my Greddy housings...lol could be a killer hybrid
  13. Consider that Alonso shared his race bonuses with his mechanics at Renault and Mac...i suspect he still does it at Ferrari! Not bad when you consider his race win bonus is probably +500k, so for that to be shared among his race mechanics is a huge thing and testament to the fact that Alonso recognises the team effort in F1 and whilst no doubt demanding of his guys, gives as much and shares as much as possible.
  14. Just as things were going to plan then I got stung with very high shipping rates. So, seems its best to ship in bulk...so I need to confirm this by Thursday night our time. If anyone is after Pagid pads then let me know. At the moment I am getting 3 sets and really need to get it up to around 5 to make it worthwhile due to shipping
  15. How old is that Hamo article? Pretty disgraceful to be speaking publicly about the "teams need to improve performance" when he is throwing it off the road more then the likes of Perez and Di Resta. Hamo needs to get his head down and get on with it. At the moment the team are giving him the car to win races, he is just throwing the car into the wind too often. If he could race like Button can from the front two rows he would be on par with Vettel far more often, Oh hang on, thats right. He wants the same sort of car superiority he had his first two seasons so that he can win without discipline, ie 2008 season. It pains me to say but I think based on Vettels speed and consistancy this year you could swap Vettel into the McLaren and Hamateur into the RBR and he still wouldnt be leading the WDC Just read this ... http://www.planetf1.com/driver/18227/7204013/Snr-Lewis-needs-hands-on-management . Intersting and probably right. He always says its in the past and OI have already moved on! I think he would be better served by reflecting on what has just happened, trying to learn from it and try not to repeat it 4 races out of 5
  16. ...So with Lee on board, for the first time we had a passenger in the back of the Cossie. Sitting up front we knew it had a pretty rude/loud exhaust, but it wasnt until Lee jumped in the back did we realise just how bad it was for him back there....I mean we only had a 5 hr drive to Nurburgring Once we go there, the track was booked out by the Porsche Club of Germany with a whole swag of Porkas driving around during the day. Turns out Walter Rohrl was there taking punters for laps in an old 993 RSCS Come afternoon the Porkas were booted and the tracked opened as a tourist day so we ran off to hire our VW Scirocco. The people at http://www.rentracecar.de/ were their usual friendly selves, and very professional. Having dealt with a few of the people hiring cars at the Ring they are hard to go past RentaRacecar and the lil VW is a great car that makes a pretty stressful 10mins around die Grüne Hölle somewhat more enjoyable A funny thing happened the necxt day when my Cossie was parked next to this Ford GT at the local servo along with a black 458. It was a little amusing to see people walk past the Ford and 458 to check out the Cosworth. Good to know I am not alone with my love for the old Sierra That said, when you see C6 Vettes, I quickly lose the love for the Cosworth and NEED to work in Europe so I can get a Vette to play with!!! Cossie sits in the carpark as we go for a run in the VW... Curiously as Jarrod and me got all pumped up about some laps...Captain Relaxo (Lee) decided to climb a tree near the Carousel Man, looking back over these photos...it was quite the mid life crisis and mid-life escape/panic trip
  17. I have always been a little ashamed of how I have driven through the Ardennes and north of France a few times but had never taken the time to see any of the WWI and WWI memorials. So with Lee (Lagwagon) on a train over from UK to meet us in France, Jarrod and I took some time to go to the US War Memorial and the Australian Digger Memorial in Fromelle. leaving Spa we headed west over two days and took in some sites on the way to Calais to pick up Lee. If you dont know about what the Diggers went through in Fromelle then do yourself the service of doing some reading...and if ever in that part of the world go pay a visit. You just walk into the place and get all choked up with emotion Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial Australian Memorial at Fromelles Reading this plaque gives you an insight into just how amazing our Diggers were...even after what they had been through they speak of the Germans with respect
  18. Yeh, when Hamo won in Singapore, Monaco there was none of this visability BS. Hamo is blinded by his ambition....god love him for it. What even worse is to see him in post race interviews squirm and not man enough to speak up. He seems total out of sorts in the car, in front of the camera. He needs to stop and think about the focus he brought to his first GP. He wasnt boning a good sort 10 years his senior, wasnt hanging out with all his celeb mates. He was a single minded F1 driver whose head was in the game. Hell I remember one of his first GPs he threw Massa a dummy and passed him in a move that for a rookie made Massa look outright stupid.
  19. Usual BBC apologists. The fact that they were questioning Kobayashis driving when Hamo turfed him in Spa etc. They are all running defense for Hamateur. I am starting to actually feel a little sorry for Hamilton. Its painful watching a guy with that much talent being generally sh1t. He is being so sh1t at the moment he is making Button look like a god and fark knows I sure dont think that to be the case. As for Massa, you think about how many times he has been barged out of the way by Alonso, Hamilton this year..I think credit to the guy for keeping his chin up. I want to see him come good with a few races...but I suspect he is having even more trouble then Mark with the tyres
  20. You would love to ask Hamo that. So Lewis "How do you feel about driving in F1 for another 2-3 years. You would have to conceded you have already peaked and spent the last few years in the wilderness...is your motivation still there to try and compete with all the quicker, younger guys?"
  21. Thats as weak as piss. All this talk about Massa blowing up and pushing Hamo around....he got off lightly, with Massa being a smart ass saying good job. I am not the worlds biggest Massa fan but good on him for speaking out...how many times has Hamo ran into him...hell the final corners at Silverstone were pretty disgraceful...didnt realise F1 was a bash em up derby
  22. I have to say Button again was impressive. His turn of speed in the end, the way he pulls together a race weekend! Credit to the guy, and Hamo nowhere near him in the points as he again puts the car where it shouldnt be. Luizzi had a problem, but Dans pace was generally better during the race...which is a good sign he is improving and handling the faster traffic better then he did his first few GPs I also get a feeling that Mark's eyesight may not be that great, or a problem re night races. He doesnt seem to struggle in the wet/dark...but seems to struggle in Singapore. Will be interesting to see how he goes in India
  23. What has happened to Marks pace with 6 laps to go. Was 4seconds off Button and now nowhere ????
  24. Webz will be in the lead into turn 1. He better put Vettel to the sword as he has nothing to lose compared to Vettel...so should best take the piss and put Vettel off
  25. Put an Advan sticker on it and I suspect the promoter will be fine...considering following are cars already running...
