  1. Really? I get the same boost response and more power from the bigger TD06-20G on an RB20 and people are forever telling me the SR spools turbos better then the RB20
  2. Let me know what you have and how much you want
  3. The car is running a MAP sensor and runs 26-28psi and no BOV. I want to throw an atmo BOV on it but I honestly don't know if any leak boost more then others or are better then others. I was thinking HKS Supersequential thingy as from memory I recall it uses boost to hold the thing closed...or perhaps a Trust Type R...but I honestly dont know if one is a better option then the other
  4. Its an absolute stock RB20. On that dyno run it had a HKS Type S Cooler, HKS Hyper Exhaust, HKS Air Filter, GTR Injectors, Power Fc/Z32 and it was a 98 track tune. Runs cam gears tweaked to get it on as soon possible. The 20 loves the 100 pump but sadly they pulled it from the bowsers here in Vic so have to make tune with the more conservative 98 tune
  5. Umm, Ark Designs? http://www.arkdesign-au.com/
  6. Jap muscle? No such thing!
  7. Far cooler is the variable compression Saab motor that was twin charged.
  8. That guy seems to have flash cash for some pretty cool cars.
  9. What manifold and things are you running? With sorting the tune and ignition you should be able to see 200rwkws at 4,500rpm And get about 21psi at 4,000rpm
  10. Item: Gizzmo Launch Interface (IGN Cut), Gizzmo Dual stage Shift Light, Adapter Loom for RB25 Very good condition. Will run on just about any RB. Comes with adaptor loom, original packaging and manuals. I am selling it as my new ECU will do all this for me and want to simplify the wiring behind my kick panel. Price: $400 firm Item: Momo Kevlar Race Seat with head wings. I have two, one has the middle wing cut off. (pictured below) The one for sale is the complete seat. Well past its FIA expirey but can still run it for club events or on your Playstation Selling it with alloy Momo side mounts and also Bride rail. Bride rail is rather rubbish. It has been gusseted but really needs futher bracing OR used as a template to make your own frame using stronger steel Price: $550 firm
  11. Its a 370Z front end. The brakes are the old CSC, then B-Spec and now ARK designs. The design has not changed, though rather then painting they are now hard anodising the calipers. They still prove to be good setup with quality rotors, a sort of Harrop copy caliper that uses a Porsche Pad. With Harrop, Stoptech and others using Porsche pads there is a good range of compounds available. You may just get the front and rears for 5k
  12. BS...Flav is the man!
  13. Budget? Front and rears? What wheel size do you run? I suggest the best value would be these at around $3400
  14. Got them made up. Speak to your local cage manufacturer. Will be able to knock up something similar
  15. I think the seat is part of the problem. Perhaps 10-15%. Plus, being an ex HRT seat that is signed i dont want it to get too tatty. Will be flogging off my spare Momo though to try and recover some dollars
  16. Yeh, it was better as a friend attacked it with some box section etc. But still moves around. So the answer is a packet of cash and these New weld in chrome moly mounts New OMP side mounts And new Sparco seat Sad to see the back of my ex HRT Jason Bright Momo seat but...it retires to the Playstation GT5 setup
  17. He is my man of the century. Does what he wants. Seems he does who he wants...all whilst being a slob of an old man with all the cash in the world. He is my HERO! A quick google search... And best of all...
  18. If you are going to run DBA 4000s then they do last a lot better if you do at least 5-7,000kms of street driving getting plenty of heat cycles into them. If you throw them on and do track work in the first 1,000kms they will last less then 30 laps before cracking. I am with DJ...they are ok on street but almost as consumable as pads if you are tracking them
  19. The reason i still love Flavour Flav... ...after Hamilton and Felipe Massa came into contact for sixth time this season in India on Sunday. "They make me laugh," he said. "They are like Laurel and Hardy."
  20. Well this weekend was the first time I have driven it with a proper wheel alignment and the ARC swaybars and I am pretty confident in saying the car is slower with the ARC bars. LOL, if you have any plans of binning yours then let me know. I also have the std Whiteline sizes, but I think I will just go custom again and copy the ones you are running
  21. You can see in this video from the weekend that in 3rd gear on a couple of the slower corners I am struggling for a little bit of drive on corner exits....Winton is the reason why I want to get a TD05H-18G to try, et more poke out of the corners. Winton is the toughest circuit for the RB20 running a 20G...but it makes you really work hard to try and carry as much corner speed as possible to keep boost up it Yeh, yeh... i know i am whoring this vid everywhere
  22. Do you have any before / after results with the plenum? Also, what were your cam gear settings like with the plenum. Very interested to see some dyno sheets Here is a vid of the latest round of love on the circuit.
  23. You are right. I have copied and pasted the following into spreadsheets over the years: 18G - 50.5mm/68mm ; 55 trim (some places call it a 50 trim...can anyone confirm?) 20G - 52.6mm/68mm ; 60 trim See the bottom two-right compressor wheels for 18G next to 20G. So not a huge difference but whilst the smaller inducer hurts cfm, it also reduces wheel mass and reduces the moment of inertia Exhaust side, the TD05 wheel is a good wack smaller There are two 16Gs, and the smaller wheel has a smaller OD, though the "Big" 16G is the same
  24. I could be in on this. Will see if I can sort entry on Friday. Where are you staying? If you can cancel then you may be able to stay at a friends place with me
  25. I only got back from my Sunday night drinking session at 6.30am so I wasnt even in a state to drive my car to the SNS. I rocked up, looked around then went Ten Pin Bowling and some beers. I didnt realise the SNS finished at 2pm so missed people as well. I will say AWESOME work on driving down for the event. Makes a mockery of people on the east side of Melbourne complaining its too far to get to Calder
