  1. The cars run the same cooler, the same exhaust, mine a Power Fc and the other a remapped std ecu. It was 100% a HKS GT-RS, not a Garret, forget what the dyno sheet says. Yes it is a GTS4 but run on a rwd dyno. And two different tuners, mine Racepace and the GTS4 Dr Drift Yes its running less boost, and perhaps a few degrees less ignition (perhaps, but its possible my tune was the more conservative as it is a track tune so a few degrees short of what you would run on the street). That all said, the general picture is the same. Also, your plot is a different type of dyno, a different dyno so even more variables to consider. I know my car made 260rwkws on a Dyno Dynamics with the same tune, hell, probably even the same tank of gas So I was down 15kws on the Mainline dyno
  2. You would think an RB20 with its smaller exhaust pulses reveals the flaws in turbos. My car back to back with a very similar car with a GT-RS showed the 20G is the better all round setup...though in this comparison you have to remember that the 20G was a full maifold and gate setup vs the bolt on GT-RS...and I run a tad more boost but a general picture is still painted So personally i think the GT-RS is a pretty crappy turbo if for all its "technology" etc etc it cant match a truck turbo for response or power
  3. I need to enter Targa to get a packet of good pics of my car
  4. Cool cars, my old one was red. Have a look at Jap Spec ones. Turbo, better brakes etc etc
  5. New or used APs? Most likely a stubborn piston that isnt too happy about going back into the caliper. Take the pads out and see of all the pistons freely move
  6. Exactly. If they were really up on power and reliable do you think the team would have binned them? The Peugeot motor was unloved at McLaren, tolertated/suffered at Jordan until they got the Mugen (at the time it was effectively a factory Honda engine but out the back of the factory through the family ties at Mugen)and Prost never went anywhere.
  7. How many seasons did McLaren want/run the Peugeot Engine?
  8. It is a mint car. ylwgtr2 did an amazing job on a top shelf paint job. Has custom head lights with Honda HID lights and chrome covering stripped. AP 6 pots on 355x36mm thick rotors make a gun brake setup. Ohlins remote reservoir shocks. 350awkws in leather Recaros. It is about the best R32 GTR getting around. Just needs bronze CE28s or TC105 Weds
  9. Shame it couldn't finish a race
  10. Notning fancy, you have the second most expensive off the shelf Teins you can can buy! Did you change the springs from std? Std the Tein REs have something like 12/10 springs
  11. Ronin..more pics. I do love your R32
  12. If you get a better offer then fair enough. Otherwise, give me a call if you still want to deliver it to me for $550
  13. Yeh, the Dutton footage was funny. The car had a fair bit of coverage considering it didnt really factor in the placing on the event. One year when Juz was co-driving she got her own 2 min segment which meant the lil R32 got plenty of coverage Right now I am trying to move around dates as I am entered in the SAU Nationals but having wisdom teeth out the Thursday before the event
  14. Can you measure up the rotor again? Looking at this pic of the caliper mount, it appears as though there is a silver bush between the mount and the caliper, suggesting to me that the kit has more likely been modified to go from a 332mm rotor to a 355mm rotor. OR they were originally a 332mm kit and now run the larger 343mm rotor. Though to my eye the size of the mount suggests to me they are a 355 adaptor, and if those Regamasters are 18" then thats about all the clearance you would get with a 355mm rotor under that rim (I say that because my old Regas did not clear F40s on a 340mm rotor) Either way they are a durable brake kit.
  15. And of course you track a car you need to be prepared for this...
  16. Whilst I think DRS is a bit hot and cold...tyres? I personally would like to see team do whatever they thing is best with regards to fuel loads, tyre wear, revs and hp etc. But you have to say the rules at the moment are working pretty good. Quicker cars can clear slower cars easier, yet normally they still have to race to get the job done with cars of similar pace
  17. See my pm. If you like I can come for a drive one night early this week and pick up the wing.
  18. Cheers for that...how young was Ross Brawn?
  19. Vettel under investigation for cutting a corner. And I didnt have any commentary but it looked as though Webber ran the hard tyre for the second Q3 run. Did he do that to try and make sure the others went out and used a set of new tyres meaning he saved a set of hard in Q1 and a set of softs in Q3? God knows he will have to do something a little different in order to win from P4
  20. Did they just send Mark out on hards??? WTF???
  21. Look at young Dan show the field his class in FP1 at the moment. 40 minutes in he is topping the time charts! Impressive OK, so nobody has posted a lap yet, but he has the fastest sector time
  22. DC got a podium in Canada in 2008, and Webber got a podium in the European GP in 2007. He should have got a podium, possibly a win except for Golden Child driving into him in Japan in 2007.
  23. Scratched record much? My tips are in! Webz has to get it right sooner or later this year. If not then I am going to have to resort to conspiracy theories as no way I would have thought he couldnt string a win together this year
