  1. Did anyone see the Back to the Future spoof done by Mclaren? Come on Alonso '15! Really hope Mac can do Bruce proud this year and we can see Alonso in a good car giving it the pretenders we have had the past few years
  2. Putting this up for a friend. Can vouch for the condition of this car. Will be very hard to fault as he is a rather fasitdious person. I work with him and you can tell you the car is never dirty, abused, nor a sheet of paper out of place on his desk He is only selling as he just got a new car. He is the second owner of this car, it was bought one year old from Subaru and has only ever been serviced by Subaru using genuine parts. This car is all original, just as it left the factory. No modifications have ever been made other than an Alpine MP3 player (speakers are original). The original CD tuner will also be supplied with the car. Has 4 month old Bridgestone Potenza RE002 tyres (valued at $800). Whether you want a tidy daily or the basis of modding something unmolested a standard WRX in this condition is going to be hard to find. Has done 188,000kms with full service history from Port Melbourne Subaru. This Subaru Impreza 2004 WRX has the following standard features: - 2.0 Litre turbo intercooled boxer engine. - Five speed manual gearbox. - Factory tinted side and rear windows. (no bubbling) - Bridgestone Potenza RE002 tyres (four months old valued at $800). - Climate control air conditioning. - Four pot brake callipers with ABS and electronic brake force distribution (EBD). - Power steering. - 17" alloy wheels. - Front & rear power windows and power door mirrors - Colour coded rear spoiler and skirts. - Driver & passenger airbags. - Data dot technology. - Engine immobiliser. - Alpine MP3/CD/Bluetooth 6 speaker stereo (original CD/tuner also supplied). - Remote central locking. - Factory MOMO leather steering wheel. - Front and rear fog lamps. - Cruise control. - Stainless steel sports pedals. - 2 front airbags. Asking price is $12,500 ( price negotiable) with a roadworthy certificate Comes with Rego paid until Oct 2015 and located in Balwyn, Victoria Contact Phil on 0412 836 546 or philip.eliades at yahoo dot com dot au
  3. Nope. Unless by recently you mean over 2 years ago. In which case I did slap a forged motor that cost less than a wrecker RB20 in my car as it was the cheapest (albeit very lucky) way to get the car back on the road.
  4. Whats the bet they have bought the superseded tooling for GT500 blocks from whoever used to do it. Fark displacement. Cubes are for special need kids. Grown ups are not afraid of revs and boost
  5. Yep...can see Sauber going to the wall if they have another bad season and end up cold, motherless last. Lotus are seemingly ok, but thats only because they are not spending money on anything and treading water.
  6. Lets hope the Lotus is as fast as it looks. Meanwhile, Homo has a Zonda. Life seems so unfair at times
  7. So, watching the full vid I am thinking to myself that looks like a pretty damn good use of WSID and would be fun if i ever had a running car. Then watching the almost bloopers realise its not for me. I would be sure to have eaten water barrier
  8. As someone that ran an 8cm , 10cm and 12cm housing on the same 2L engine and a TD06 I can tell you the 12cm housing made no more powre than the 8cm. Just wasy waaaaay laggier. Changed to 2.5L and the 12cm was still too big. My point, changing from win 10cm housing to 8cm will be fine and make the car far better. When I went from 10cm TD06-20G on my RB20 to 8cm this was the difference So go to the 8cm...all imo
  9. Shoosh!!! LOL, I went to pay but couldnt because I blew the CC up over xmas and only paid it this morning and need to wait for the payment to clear Just crap timing
  10. What was the name and location of your aircon place? Price and service seem reasonable
  11. $300-400 per seat is ball park
  12. So did you ever verify what clutch they recommend you run ?
  13. Now that looks the farking business
  14. Well Force India looks the business !
  15. Anything in those colours looks like SEX! Even this!
  16. Well I am looking forward to this season. Hopefully Porsche will be a little stronger but very keen to see what Nissan-Nismo have in store. Also planning on going back to Le Mans this year. Just have to see how finances go as I may end up going to Japanese round instead later in the year The first disappointment of 2015 are the spy pics of the Nissan GTR LM. Farking UGLY! Front engined?
  17. Save your money and go to Malaysian GP! I am really struggling again with the prices. May actually sit this year out But anywhere around turns 1 or 3
  18. Next Jerez 97....farking Hack' inen
  19. Just watched the 98 Aus GP. Still upsets me all thesae years later! DC should never have accepted that serving of BS. Can't believe I am barracking for McLaren and Alonso this year!
  20. That is BS! Honda need to homologate their engine like the others had to first time around. They already have the advantage from having a full season of observing the technology of the other manifacturers and extended front end development of their engine. Meh, the who engine fiasco is a joke anyway. I don't have a problem with the engines but its a joke how the whole thing is being administered. By putting them on a strict engine life cycle they are probably increasing the cost of the programs by a significant amount ...
  21. Will give him a try along to see how he goes price wise compared to a few others I have called. Seems better value to just buy another mroe expensive pair of seats closer to the colours I need
  22. Can you throw some verniers over the id of the outlet and confirm the size?
  23. You can get them cheaper but this is the first one i found http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Mini-12V-Car-Jump-Starter-Jumper-Booster-Battery-Charger-Pack-13600mAh-/251605397842?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a94d9b152
