Well, car still at the mechanic, after putting in the radiator and inspecting under the car, I need to change 2 CV boot covers and replace the Power Steering Fluid lines / hoses.
On the upside, my HKS filters have arrived!
So he is a circle jerk?
Ah yeah,
Ray from RE Customs fixed the problem.
I spoke to him briefly and from memory he said that there was a slight leak in the Inlet Plenum which was causing the stuttering.
I am sure there was more to it but that's all I got out from Ray at the time.
It's a complete car now with Veilside Andrew Evolution X wheels, which came off a 180SX.
You remember the last RE Customs Dyno Day and a white 180SX was there... (The one that pulled 319 rwKw's)
The Veilside wheels came from that car.
Ah ok...
All the better for buying a GTR and so when ppl say "Oh, should not have bought that car, it cost so much"...
Well it didn't cost that much at all
R31 would be sweet!
Anything N/A will be good for a daily, Stop / Start traffic.
I drive a Toyota Corolla AE71 as daily.
Ok on fuel as it runs on a carburettor, you will have to rev the car on start up and that can use a bit of fuel.
Newer cars will get you much better fuel economy.
A Honda Jazz would be an awesome daily as they fuel consumption is great.
About $35 full tank and gets you 600+ Km's.
I found out as I was filling up a friends Jazz and said to myself "WTF?! Is that all it's going to cost..?"
The VQ35DE is a powerful engine.
But RB all the way for me .
Good news!
I just called to check up on my car and it is ready to be picked up at 5pm today.
As I am at work I shall pick it up tomorrow morning.
Now for the service!
