  1. So what your saying is that finally Subaru made a car that is faster then a R33 GTR (1995)..?
  2. Lowering your car will make it more stable and the car won't 'tip' as much + your rears will always 'kick out' a bit, so to improve that, you need to upgrade / lower and setup your suspension right and put some decent tyres on. Lowering a car will lower the centre of gravity = more stable on the ground. But cuz the road was wet lastnight and you gave it hard on exiting the corner, you will break a bit of traction, but you controlled that with your throttle. Great to meet and see everyone lastnight, was an awesome ride home! Will try and get some pics up later!
  3. Kyle, that is mad!
  4. That wouldn't happen to be SAU member fuckhead 32 (Chris) car yeah..? NICE conversion David! I will check back regularly on updates and hope all goes well!
  5. ^^ To add to my post, the wheels are fake Nismo LMGT4's not Volks.
  6. LOL! It has the Nismo Z-Tune Bonnet (Not sure if it is genuine or not) It's either Rays Engineering, Volk Racing Wheels or Nismo LMGT4 wheels. LMGT4 wheels are not Volk wheels, they are just made by the same company = Ray Engineering. Shit that high voltage battery is mad... *note Sarcasm* The spoiler sits ridiculously high and the ride height needs more low. The owner has the money for a R34 GTR but goes cheap and puts Rota wheels on and leaves the suspension stock... Having said that, if the car and everything is straight and if you have seen the car in the flesh and all is good, then go for it. Just change a few things when you buy the car. BTW the car looks like it is in QLD... I can see QLD plates on the other cars.
  7. It's on tonight YEAH! Hope the weather stops raining or we all get a free car wash...
  8. Hah! Time to upgrade. - Turbos - HKS 2.8 V-Cam
  9. I voted for everything, it is good to have a variety of topics and opens up a lot more interest within SAU Club members.
  10. You'd get a good price. What he said
  11. ^^ Takata Green... Is that what your talking about? On black it would look nice, but I think better on White coloured car.
  12. Fighting 3rd Person Action Adventure 1st Person Shooter
  13. Thanks for the pics Charli! I still have to take a look at mine. See you at the Duck Meet. Or maybe at Sun Tzu
  14. Yeah man! That was me, I was going to the atm. I saw you hammer up the hill and passed the pigga parked at Subway getting a sandwich.
  15. So Juliette wants a Nissan Cube and you want a 4 door R34 Skyline... Offer a price to Juliette to see if she will sell you her 4 door R34 Skyline and she can use that money after the sale to buy a Cube.
  16. That's a decent stretch! Man, you lowered your car yet?
  17. Yep, that's the place, the Hobby store next to Melb Central carpark. Yeah, I just have a lot of ideas when it comes to R/C Cars, that's why I wanted all those body shells and wheels Mix it up a bit I guess. http://www.genkidoridori.com/ - These guys are fucking mad! http://www.hpiracing.com/drift/ - These guys make some decent accessories but the body shells are kinda shit. Their wheels are great + their "Bling Kits" which come with exhaust muffler / intercooler / mirrors are great.
  18. Carizma International in Richmond is decent. Speak to David McCreary as he is also a SAU Member on here. - http://carizma.com.au/ Call for more info.
  19. See you at Garage Cafe at 8pm!
  20. I use to get my hobby supplies from there when I use to live in Point Cook. Quite a good store. Yeah, mine and Alex's Tamiya R/C Car is the Expert Built (XB) model and is electric. Everything is pre made / assembled + remote. I bought a battery as well. It cost $450 for the R/C car but I bought that in the City, which they fully rip you off. The hobby store in Box Hill was selling it for $350, same package set up too. Yeah I got over it a bit, but now I should really get back into it, just kept putting it off. Gotta friend in my area who got a R/C Car too and hopefully head down the track soon. It's all money at the end of the day, Body Shells can cost $50 - $70 then you got to paint it ($10 - $12 a can of paint). Buy a set of decent wheels to suite you look (If you want) Wheels come in a pair = 1 set = $15 - $17 Since you need 4 wheels you need to buy 2 sets = ($30 - $34) Then you need to buy the tyres, so I just went the cheaper tyres = $27 - $30 a set of 4 tyres. You can easily spend up to $117 - $146 each time you want to do up a R/C Car. Also depending on how many colours you want to paint it or you can save on wheels and tyres.
  21. you talking about RC car or real car..? +/- 0 = Stock, no deep lip nothing NEEDS MORE LOW! Cuz I have to trim the body shell so it does not scrap the ground. TE37 +6 Offset. Still needs more low, trimming still needed on body shell WORK Meister +6 Offset. EPIC RX7 FD! Epic poke and it is just the stock Tamiya RX7 FD Body Shell. (SAU Member AE92's car) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...l&hl=rc+car = Check out the tread.
  22. +2? Dude, my +3's are sunk as fuck! Go +6 to fill out or +9 for Poke. TE37's and WORK Meister S1 are sic with the deep lip, which I have.
  23. Nga wat! LOL! Hell yeah, Tamiya TT-01, S15, 240Z and RX7 FD shells, TE37's +3 and +6 Offsets. (Offset + and - are opposite to real wheels) I really should get back into it.
