  1. Right I see. That explains the point of D-Jetro. Maxing out the AFM's and want even more air = Have a bigger air pod... LOL! So how big of a pod do you want? You could take off the AFM piping and just have the pod itself... Yeah, you will get a lot of air in with twin pods... Since you have a Nur, which runs 1.2 Bar = 17.4 Psi, pods will free up the air flow with your test proven. I guess you can shield off the pods on the side and retain the standard air feed to feed air to the pods.
  2. Haha!! I meant to say was an Aston Martin had sex with a SMART car... Not as good as they thought...
  3. There is not much difference between the R32/R33/R34 GTR intake systems. As Johnny said APexi are decent pod filters and the kit should come with 2 metal intake pipes to you can bolt on the air pods then bolt on to the AFM's. One of the reasons I think to run an APexi D-Jetro, is for the GTR's which run massive single turbo conversions and there is no AFM, but I too have seen it on twin turbo setups. I am not too clear why or what the difference is... Instead of having the 2 AFM's, they are replaced by 2 Map Sensors... Probably so the APexi Power FC can monitor it... Control it too... Maybe. APexi pods - http://www.nengun.com/apexi/power-intake-gtr Looks like they do come with pieces of aluminium/stainless to adapt the pods on. Any reason for modifying to twin air pods? The standard R34 GTR air box and filter is good for over 300 kW's.
  4. ^^Post nude shots!
  5. What's your stock Boost Gauge say on your Multi Function Display (MFD) Screen? Standard R34 GTR's are about +0.9 Bar = 13 Psi. V-Spec II N1,s and V-Spec II Nur's read 1.2 Bar = 17.4 Psi. If you got R34 GTR N1 Turbo's then you will be fine, standard R34 GTR Turbo's, I would not go over 1 Bar = 14.7 Psi.
  6. Put it behind the steering wheel. That's where mine is + I still have the stock gauge in it's original place. I will post a pic tonight, at work atm...
  7. Aston Martin sexed up a SMART Car and that's what you get.
  8. Your best bet is looking for an "Oval" shape muffer. Nismo Weldina, Kakimoto or a HKS Priest exhaust. Jonny from On The Run Motorsport can help you out. http://www.ontherunmotorsports.com/ 137A Westall Road Clayton South VIC 3169 (03) 9547 8100 [email protected]
  9. LOL! I bought a DE SHOES, hoodie. Um... DC SHOES... Was it..?
  10. If that is for a hottie and her GTR, then I let it pass.
  11. Whao! That's some awesome equipment there! "most of the boss are digital and have buffered bypass whereas the vox and the mxr have true bypass and are analogue" - How do you mean digital and true bypass? Does that effect the sound of what the pedal will produce through your amp?
  12. Welcome! Any Pics of your R34 GTR?
  13. Yeah that's for sure, I guess it save you from bring 2 guitars everywhere. Still the best acoustic sound is from an acoustic guitar.
  14. Digital Delay would be sic for echo effects! Flanger Pedals are fun. Any of you tried an Acoustic Simulator? Does it really make an electric guitar sound acoustic?
  15. How do you find the KORG, VOX and MXR effect pedals as apposed to the BOSS products? Or are they pretty much the same..? The KORG AX1500G would be fun to use. Different sounds and effects can help a lot with song writing as it also brings out a lot of interesting sounds, which you can make into a song.
  16. You want Loud or quite + good air flow?
  17. Hah! I would love to own the whole BOSS Pedal series, like how they put it on display in the music stores. But I would probably only use a few but anyway. I only use the Metal Zone atm, I was thinking of buying a few more Distortion Pedals... BOSS make a Turbo Distortion Pedal, but I figured the Metal Zone can replicate that and a few other pedals so I have just stuck with that. The Metal Zone can replicate a Fuzz, Overdrive and various Distortion Pedals + a few more pre-set settings... So it is kinda like a few/multi pedals in one. Gota friend who's got a V-Amp effects unit and it contains probably over 100+ effects... You can sit there all day playing around with it.
  18. Yeah Ray from RE Customs is a SAU Member on here. Or you can speak to barney (Brad) who also works for RE Customs- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/barney-m31951.html I can't remember what Rays name on SAU is...
  19. It does not matter if your car is Manual or Auto, the turbo will "Kick" in when you rev / full throttle it when driving. You already have a stock blow off valve and they don't make a very loud noise. If your car still has the stock airbox/intake, you will hardly hear the turbo "Spoll" unless you install an air pod.
  20. Ah yeah thanks for the update on the power figures. Yes your VR4 front does look mean as!
  21. That your car right? LOL! Yeah after you left it was pretty much Honda Civics, Accord and a XR6 Turbo. The AVO VX SS hit about 450 rw kW's from memory. There was an AVO Ford XR6 (EB I think) and that hit about 350ish... rw kW's.
  22. DAMN! Looks HOT! You must use a very good lighting set up on your photoshoots... Your texture of photos seem to have a very "Soft" almost "Cream" like effect (Hard to explain... LOL!) But your contrast is level'd out so well! Any Photoshop involved?
