  1. That is correct (As pictured below) the Head unit does not have speakers in them. Just sits on top of the Quadbox and is connected be a short guitar lead from behind + there is a Power input in it as well + other inputs for effects pedals and pre amps etc. You can still use the Stack (Head + Quadbox) at home, just turn it down LOL! They are mainly used for playing shows. Hobby / home use, small amp will be fine.
  2. The Head is a separate unit that sits on top of the Quad box (4 big speakers in one box). It contains all the controls like Volume, Treble, Mid Tones, Bass, Distortion / Gain, Reverb ect. The more money you spend the better sound and more controls you will have. I guess they are separate because it's is easier to carry and you can't fit the Head in the quad box cuz the 4 speakers have taken up all the room.
  3. Yeah cool I check it all out. Thanks! Yeah I was in a Punk band. I left cuz the other guitarist wanted full control over what the band wanted to play. Then the Bass and Drummer left cuz they realised the guitarist was an idiot, until then they understood why I left. Now I am just writing some acoustic tracks with a friend and there is still development with my other friends of a Metalcore band, but nothing solid yet... I have Peavey Studio Pro 112 (single cone... Like 1 speaker or whatever you call it) amp and an AXL Amp Rapture Series quad box - http://www.axlguitars.com/aarap100hr412c.html There are better ones out there but this only cost me $750 with the Head and Quad box. + I run my guitars through a Boss Metal Zone pedal anyway.
  4. ^^True I hate number plates, ruins the look of the car and it's just a sheet of metal with a number embossed on it with some paint.
  5. I see. Cool! See how I go, car is still in the panel beaters. Might need a lift there.
  6. There is a Rock Kung in Kingsway? As in in the city? Or is Kingsway is what the street is called where Rock Kung is at?
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Js...-S-t276230.html JSAI are no longer here.
  8. Farken hell that ESP Horizon FR-II look sic! So how many guitars is that? LOL! So for an ESP, you are looking for at least spending $1500 + for a top model... Yeah? Is there anything below $1000 mark but still a decent guitar? Your obviously in a band yeah...
  9. That is awesome! Geesus! $2000, I really cannot justify myself spending that much on a guitar... Hell yeah they are absolutely awesome but still... Feels like I need to buy insurance for a $2000 guitar LOL! Yeah I had a feeling the ESP would be a all rounder nicer guitar. I love the twin EMG humbuckers and the single coil pick up. "CHUG CHUG" all the way LOL! My next guitar I plan to get, I will be putting on gauge 54 - 11 strings in C tuning, get it all set up like my other guitars. I like to play a lot of Metalcore / Tech Death Core and ESP sounds perfect for it. But a lot of ppl are suggesting and also using Gibson / Les Paul guitars... Nice guitars but I don't like the look of them and I don't see what the hype is all about. Sure they have been around for a long time and make great products... Maybe they do produce a very good sound...
  10. How well is the ESP vs the Jackson? I am still undecided between the 2... Or LTD, cheaper version of an ESP but now a days they have both got top models.
  11. How do you mean much easier in a R32? R33 came with RB26DETT's as well... SAU member DSTROY has done a RB26 conversion in his R32 GTS-4 (GTS-T with 4WD), so it is basically a R32 GTR but in a R32 GTS-T body. The conversion can be done but a lot of time and effort will be needed + Cash! LMAO! eeiko321 is at it again!
  12. I always thought APexi, BLITZ and HKS were decent... Stick with them and you should be fine.
  13. Awesome! Looks like the R35 GTR is a regular at the N-Ring, hence the N-Ring sticker on the rear.
  14. Ah ok. Yeah it still looks great tho. I have stuck with Auto Art as my dad bought me an EVO VI and a STi 22B in that brand then I bought a R34 GTR. Might have to check out Ebbro.
  15. You want to put in a RB26DETT in your R33 GTS-T? Gearbox, drivetrain, 4WD System... everything..?
  16. I got a Yamaha Acoustic and electric guitar. Japanese made Fender Stratocaster and a BC Rich Warlock. Peavey Studio Pro 112 Amp and a AXL Quadbox. Next guitar, I want a Dime'O Flame (Dimebag / Pantera), which were made by Washburn then Dean Guitars. If it is hard to get that then either a ESP / LTD / Jackson / Schecter (maybe).
  17. Yeah i remember reading that too. Well there is a R33 GTR in NSW, which I think is the one in the Top Gear Vid you posted, from memory, that R33 GTR was tuned and painted by Top Secret in Japan. The owner bought it back here to AUS to re-trim the interior with Red seats and other bits. Pity about the GT Wing as it looks shit and the bonnet looks terrible.
  18. What model brand is your R35 made by? Auto Art, Jada Toys? You can, you just have to buy a Tamiya model kit and paint it up and a set of Advan Wheels.
  19. Your R33 is not Top Secret Gold, which can only be obtained from Japan. No one knows the Top Secret Gold paint code... "Ooohhh"
  20. Yeah either it's the HKS BOV or like others have said with the metal pipe. Any turbo car can make the noise, it just depends on the BOV set up or whatever the owner does to it. The stock BOV should not make any noise, at least no "Stu Tu Tu". But if you put on an air pod, while still having your stock BOV, you will get a nice "Suction" noise then a "Choo" at the end (Only when on boost).
  21. It's either a HKS Super Sequential BOV or some cheap ass BOV or like what others have said compressor surge. HKS Super Sequential BOV = Wank (Only useful on highly tuned cars that are running a lot of boost and the stock one cannot handle it any more) Compressor Surge = Say goodbye to your turbo.
  22. Smart ass!
  23. A well written article. I read all 4 pages of it and can see the author of the article, kinda speaking peoples subconscious thoughts of the new GTR and in all is quite true. A good break down in comparison to the ZR1 and GT3 all the way to the 4WD system that Ferrari are having thoughts about too.
