It can be done, just takes time and effort. Finding a RB26 then modifying any engine mounts if needed + a lot of work. I would have just put in the RB26DETT and left the dash as it is. But still an awesome car and I believe it is a popular conversion done in the USA as well as Japan.

Yeah I see... I don't catch public transport at all really, I will take a taxi and that's about it. so I don't know much about what train, tram and bus goes where... Well you are pretty much in Fitzroy/Collingwood as soon as you get off Eastern Freeway. "ATM from my house in dandy, I catch a bus to Dandy station, express to the city, then onto the 112 tram to fitzroy. 1.5 hours. FFFFUUUU. Good thing about catching a train from dandy is that you're guaranteed a seat " - Would this be a quicker way still as opposed to the route I suggested?

Funky! Back in Melbourne eah... Nice! Dandy, that's a bit of a hike. Any chance you could take the East Link, get off at Springvale Road OR get onto Eastern Freeway (From East Link), exit off at Doncaster Road and there is a big Park and Ride... Park there and bus it into the city... I believe Doncaster Park and Ride is legit.

Hey LoNgStAr! First time poster for me in the NSW thread as I'm from VIC. As some has already said on here, Check your fuel injectors to see if they are leaking or not... If they are not leaking, run a can of injector cleaner next time you fill up your fuel tank. Check you O2 Sensors out with your mechanic. Check for any leaks in the fuel tank area. Fill up a full tank, take it for a drive, come home and park it over night as next morning see if there is any fuel stains around the rear area... Get mechanic to check it out... Look under the car for any leaks too. 350kms, that sounds low but not bad... I get about 250kms from half a tank and about 450kms - 500kms full tank. See how you go.

On that note, I am guessing a RB26 N1 Block is the size as the Normal RB16 block as it is the same engine, just made from stronger material.

Wow! The hoody does look nice. Similar layout to my HATEBREED zip up hoody with the GTR logo wrapped around the side and the SAU logo down low. You think we could design a new one next year with the NISMO logo as well? Atleast it appeals to all Skyline's as it is Nissan Motor Sport. Just a quick thought... A slight top up should not hurt. But I remember there is a "DOT Number" you have to look out for. ie. DOT3, DOT4, DOT5, DOT5.1 This guy, who made the webpage explaining the DOT types is Not an expert but gives you an idea from his past experiences with car enthusiast. - http://au.geocities.com/ozbrick850/brake-fluidtypes.html But not to get paranoid, just double check with you mechanic and again, a slight top up will not hurt.

You might want to also think about upgrading your brakes, tyres, suspension and strut braces, if not done already... Use top quality engine oil and coolant fluids and do regular 5000kms if not 3000kms oil and oil filter changes. Also after your spirited run up and down the hills you might just want to let the car sit and idle for a minute or two (A bit like cool down time for turbo(s). Not necessary but does not hurt to do it.
