  3. haha its ok man, it requires 2 threads to comprehend the stupidity of this person
  4. fkn oath! - if anyone is wondering, i played this guy in CS like a year ago and for some reason we added eachother and hay presto a year later we find out we both have R34's and we spend most of our job time on SAU small fkn world!
  5. Sup from NSW!! wooop!
  6. dayum that's just nasty - looks like your only option is to... sell Sell SELL! I saw you at bowling today! just as you were leaving, i can see that R34 a mile away!
  7. seen this car 1st hand, cleannnnnnn! - and the paint job is excellent! Photos dont do it justice at all! since you secretly dont want to sell this car Paul i wont wish you luck - i guess your wife cant do much if no one buys it!
  8. The only Info that i have on it is exactly what you know, it looks awesome and it does indeed get driven by an old lady!!, never seen it driven by anyone else and i see it quite a bit at towers - i would hope and imagine that this GTR would be an absolute steal because of the stereotyping fact that i doubt this lady goes on track or thrashes it that much, but in saying that....she does own a R34 GTR so anything is possible, she could be an absolute driving fiend for all we know!! Good Luck in the Search dude
  9. TOOL! How dare you!! lol - haha i wasn't driving like one was I?
  10. Good to hear dude
  11. ok, I have a non turbo R34 GT 1998 just like you - i have full comp with just car - market value pushing 15k - insured agreed value 20k what you do is you go onto there online quote page on their website and you fill that out, when they ask you to put in purchase price put in whatever you want it to be covered for, then you fiddle around with your XS and what have you untill your happy ( e.g. i put the maximum XS to lower my premium), you ring up just car and ask them what the hell is going on blah blah blah because there online quote is always better then your current policy (that's how they attract more customers ) give them the online quote number and hay presto you are a level 4 rated driver with an agreed value 5k above the market value of your car(which covers your XS, and some, when/if you have an accident god forbid...) and i dont feel bad about this one little bit. i have never been court for speeding never had an accident on the road and no other incidents that would result in effecting my insurance and i am paying $1000 premium with a $3000 XS, I'm on my green p's and this is my 2rd year with just car, my 3rd starts in jan. stick with just car, my short experience with them has been trouble free, and they sh!t on all the other insurance companies if your under 25 and own a grey import BTW it helps greatly if you are already a policy holder so that you can be all angry that there online quote is better then your current policy when you entered all the same info as your current policy, they will give you some BS story why its like that and then they will bump you down some rating to compensate...that's what happened for me Good lucky mate, PM if you have any other questions
  12. that is a tricky one ay....if you stick to the story you originally said then you will be harassed for changing your story. they wouldn't be trying to "trick" you into changing your story would they? I'm sure that letter they sent you is legally binding so if you agree to the story on the letter they cant turn around and say "you told us something different on the day of the incident". it seems like your best bet is to just stick to the story on the letter, its a lot more sensible and i recon a court would be more lenient because its innocent enough.... other opinions? keep us all posted buddy, good luck
  13. explain?
  14. i must agree, an R34 without its spoiler is an abomination, but i do like the rest of this R34 - But Each To His Own! - except chrome dish rims, that shits inexcusable, even for a blind man.... Spotted that White R35 in Kellyville again the other day, apparently its a v-spec!! My friends dad knows him and he imported it from japan - do v-spec R35's even exist yet?!?!
  15. I thought i was the only one...
  16. This is terrible man I find myself asking this each time a line is stolen - what security did you have on it? Emob? - and are you insured? The past 2 skylines that have been nicked haven't had emobs...the day that getting around emobsb is easy for these a$$holes is the day I won't park my car out of eye sight....the fact this was stolen in daylight on a, would you say a busyish road?, is scary good luck man - I'll keep an eye out for you!
  17. hahah buddy, once your engine is running and has sucked up the water....the compression from trying to compress that water in the 1st place has already done the damage.....even if you try and crank it over...the starter motor is no where near strong enough to crank that engine past a certain compression point..... so if your trying to crank over an engine with water in it the starter motor will not be strong enough to blow or break anything...it will just stop mid stroke.... now when an engine is spinning at 2,000 - 2,500 revs and suddenly water is introduced into the engine and instead of the pistons trying to compress air and petrol mist, which can be compressed, it hits water, what do you think is going to give? there is already to much movement for the engine to just stop dead...that 2000 revs of momentum has to go somewhere and if its not going to be put into compressing the water (which is physically impossible, i hope this doesn't come as some kinda of shock to people), then its going to start bending and breaking all the other elements in the engine...i hope you understand what im talking about now go to wiki and look up "hydro-lock" - this is what happend to me...nothing to do with me cranking the engine with water in it Now with you talking about your bro's angry bug, different car, different conditions, different amounts of water but with that all said, your bro's car wasn't running at 2500 revs when water was introduced....it was just sitting there....even if he did the "unsmart thing" and tried to start it....the starter motor would do squat to the engine - its all about physics again, an electric starter motor vs cast iron, steal wtvr your engine pistons, crank and valves are made of....and keep in mind these valves contain each explosive stroke of an engine so im pretty sure they can handle a little pressure that is created when an electric motor tries to force a engine to crank over cylinders full of water... "no one knows enough about engines to NOT try and turn them over when full of water?" - careful when making comments like this mate, sets yourself up to look like a fool now if i have made any mistakes in this please someone tell me because i need to know because otherwise i have a very bad understanding of engines and i need to be re-educated but otherwise thanks for your 2 cents and i hope you have learnt something, that's what were all here for! And yea it did suck D!ck coughing up all that money some ppl said i should have gotten a brand new engine instead of rebuilding it...but im glad i have made my decision because ultimately i have a brand new rebuilt engine now
  18. I'm IN Sl!m ! - no passengers as of yet Want to meet up at your work and leave at the same time Tom?

  20. MRC in Castle Hill $250 buks, i didn't buy a new radiator for my own reasons...but as long as your car is Manual you should just get a new alloy radiator from Just Jap for 350 or wtvr is =]
