Had a great time yesterday, thanks for including my car in the shoot and thanks to Matt/Kory/Missus for all the time and effort you guys put in. Just received a certain letter that was sent from the RTA addressed to the Wollongong City Council. I won't repost the document in question on here, but I'll give you all the proposed locations detailed. These "safety" cameras which double as both red light and speed cameras will be installed over the next few months. Ecu is standard, intakes are standard, pods are after market, but had standard airbox on before. I believe both sets of AFM's are 65mm as I had no problem bolting and fitting either of them on. Both AFM's are physically the same size. How do you go about measuring them. I'm good with a multimeter but that's about it.

I'll try and get some pictures up soon. It's currently sitting at the mechanic atm. I took the sleeve off the plug, and there isn't a 5th wire, so that little mystery is solved. It just doesn't make sense when both sets are the same model J70. The only difference on the label I noticed was my old ones had JECS in big bold letters, where as the ones I received just say "jecs corporation". Is that how you could tell if they're Z32 or not?

My air flow meters need replacing. I ordered some replacements which arrived this morning. My current AFM's on my R33 GTR have a orange label with the number 22680 05U00 A36-000 J70 The ones I received were stock from a R32 GTR. It has a brown label with the same model number. My current orange labelled AFM's have 5 pin outs, but the brown labelled AFM's only have 4 pin outs. I plugged the brown labelled AFM's in and black smoke started belching out the back when I started her up. So I guess the 5th pinout was important. Is there a way to rewire the connection to the AFM to only use 4 pins or do I really need all 5 pins connected? Any other suggestions?

I currently have a cracked door handle trim/fascia which I would like to replace on the drivers side. See picture below to get a better idea of what I want replaced. Would like to get one with no scratches/scuffs, cracks or broken clips on it. PM me with a price and preferably a picture.

- Accurate diagnostic I've had a couple bad experiences in the past with my old prelude taking it to a particular mechanic. There's no worse feeling than getting your car back only to find the problem is still there and you've paid 100's for them to "fix it". - Communication I hate ringing up and hassling mechanics to ask what's going on with my car. Makes me feel like I'm nagging them and they'll end up hating me.

I've been meaning to get a tuneup for the past couple months and today I've booked in at Southern Motor Works in Albion Park Rail. I was initially going to go to Pulse Racing up at Menai as I've had very positive results with them in the past when they dyno'ed my turbo Prelude. As Menai is a little out of the way, I thought I'd look around more locally this time. I found Southern Motor Works which has 4WD dyno. I searched but couldn't come up with much on them. Have one thread with a guy vouching and the other telling to steer clear. So naturally I have little mixed feelings atm. When I went there this arvo it had a pretty good vibe. Had a R32 up on the lift and coincidently this R35 sitting there. Boss was currently dynoing a Impreza at the time so I didn't get to talk much. Was going to go over it with him on Friday morning before he tunes it. They said will cost $500+ which include new spark plugs and dyno, which is what I expected. So ultimate question is, who has been there before and what have your experiences been like?

Might be worth downloading photshop elements and use it to resize them to 1280x1024 before uploading. It's pretty easy to use and they will turn out a million times better. You can do batches of photos at once to save you time. Paint isn't very good at resizing photos. That's why lines and curves are turning out all jagged and rough.

Ok so the filter is the same for every R33 model. Sorry for the n00b question before. Would there be any difference between the Ryco and Blitz? The Ryco Z145A is only $10.50 from Supercheap where as the Blitz B-2259 from Just Jap is $45?

What would be the oil filter code for a R33 GTR RB26DETT? I really need to do a oil change asap.

Had a awesome time today. Was the first Skyline cruise I've ever been on. Was starved by lunch, pub food hit the spot. Was good to see so many different skylines and the extra run up macpass made it more complete. Definitely interested in the next cruise and I'll look at becoming a SAU member next month.
