  1. Nope , this circuit has a sensing point off that relay that if you hot jump it blows a hidden fuse , not the factory fuse , its simple and only requires a few bucks more of part and a little more time
  2. Mentholated spirits is metho ,( I'm from usa ) like alcohol based cleaner thinner Simple green is rare find down under ( bunnings sells it now for australian who want a good product ) Sand it Wax and grease remover it Plastic pore primer paint( for dashes and plastic bumpers ) Then spray it so it wont fall off The cast iron paint is very close to factory gtt series 2 gauge colors which look way better the that crap in series 1 cars had( and is heat proof bonus) cars can exceed 80c in summer !! Abs plastic ( dash parts)can and will melt with some paint thinner type products , wax and grease remover is safe , must use it or paint will fish eye !! dash protector overspray exists and oily skin fingerprints ruin paint jobs Matte paint requires special cleaning care or it gets shiny /spotty looking
  3. Best security 4 denver boots to lock the wheels Underground bunker And a hungry momma bear and cub Or clear cast resin the car and just use it as a extra large paperweight lol wont go into details but the sky is the limit on points you can cut out in your case the fuel pump you did it wrong if they can jump the pins there is a diagram in a well know publication that shows you how to incorporate a fuse to stop hot wiring a. Relay it trips the fuse up stream and disables it completely Only you know where the fuse ( not right next to the relay obviously ) is hidden to resolve the dead pump
  4. Not shiny smoothe but before I redid mine in real carbon I used hi temp cast iron engine paint Looks like a titanium colour matte finish think it was motormate or vht You can get titanium silver krylon but my intake plenum is painted that colour and it would be crazy sparkles on the dash , way to blinding the cast iron paint can be clear coated if you want some gloss and smoother ? a damp rag cleans it fine dabbing it ? Carbon for the win lol
  5. Sorry iphone cant post photos easy The grommet is behind the bracket buried back in there. Take off the bracket mounted between firewall and drivers shock tower !! you will see it in the next day or so that fender is coming off my car so I'll post up the photo with laptop Pretty sure its already online and sau under blitz return flow fmic install on gtt !?
  6. Come to think about it yours has gtr wing doesnt it? This one didnt but had similar wheels and looked pretty shiny like new paint
  7. White r33 in dinga think it was aberax
  8. Carbon 34

    Tyre

Pick up a phone ? What side of town?
  9. You forgot Reason forums are like kids play grounds Because the kids can play all they want till the adults ban them from the other kids who know how to play well with others
  10. Report it to police dont slander someone on SAU (For legal reasons ) by not reporting it you can become part of the problem in stopping it
  11. Yup haha holidays gotta love em Spotted grey 34 sedan no wing sorta bbs style spokes wheels at dinga car wash a littlewhile ago
  12. On 34 Lots of wet fine sandpaper , pop out the lens on climate control, unbolt the control knob, pop out red and blue rings and clear one depending on what state its in now? Painted or ? Once sanded back Wax and grease remover Rinse in fresh water let dry till 100% dry Tack rag wipe down Spray with plastic pore paint ( kinda a primer for plastics ) then paint with primer grey And mist in primer black , dry Wet sand it again with 400 ish wet paper The high and low spots will apear the grey and black will show it, sand till even Do not use power or air sander ,hands only Once your even , repeat paint process again Only lighter coats Sand again 400 grit Satisfied with smooth even surface Repeat process with black epoxy primer , two pack gloss black dry but not over 50c or the dash can warp Wet sand that , 800grit DNA diamond clear coat for final coat Let dry in uv , warm , dust free area a couple days before handling parts That is about 100-500 buck depending on what you can do and your tools to spray it lots of labour Budget around 50 bucks Or sand back, paint plastic primer Flat black and then rattle can clear Or water clear epoxy dificult but unreal clear
  13. Those get stolen for joy ride even more? common sense will stop 50% of thefts , dont leave a skyline in view at night and during school holidays , or anytime !! dont show off in it , use a full blown alarm and gps tracker and a club even in your own yard !!! all can be over ridden but it slows them down to move on to easier targets And a pro theft will always get the car , no exceptions , the best bet is tracking it for police to find them but self installed gps will be found in a min , so do it right and have a proper install by a reputable installer who knows how to hide them!
  14. Dark grey r32 gtr looked stock sounded angry in aldinga just now Same colour I think( it was pouring lol) R33 with gtr wing super clean followed by 180 in seaford heading south last night during the downpour about 630ish Dark grey austin martin vanquish heading into blackwood , mmm nice
  15. Caps wont shock unless the voltage is wound up But old ignition coils do a nice job not lethal in most case but doesn't feel nice ( numb arm for a few min and sore for a day ) But I must disclose I do not condone these actions for legal reasons disclaimer Its easy to stop a theft but the laws favor crims rights and until that changes it will only get worse when bubba is using a crim as his bitch in a small cell they will think twice
  16. Sorry got busy doubt you will be able to see the hole in photos the thing is buried behind brackets and cable and other items But will try in a littlewhile to jam a camera back in after the batteries charge up
  17. Yes if your car has external oil cooler for trans? Pretty sure all r34 AT turbo use external coolers because I bought a used trans cooler for R34 Gtt And use it for power steering cooler The internal coolers radiator cause problems anyway my r31 started leaking trans oil into radiator and it makes a farking mess
  18. Seaford rise has a lot of crime Actually down deep south has gone sour in a big way the past year
  19. Will put the word out down south to watch for it thats getting a bit close to home Please update if found Pm sent
  20. Dont be fooled its not always coil packs seems the tcs is failing on a lot of R34 GTT in the past few months , mine did the tcs and tps packed it in a week later , splitfire coil packs didnt fail till the next month lol no better then all the rest didnt even get 3 yrs out of them barely driven , i swapped out my throttle body for another off a wrecked car and it fixed my tcs slip light it will also chuck up abs light when it fails , the codes didnt match the problem indicated , once a new used body was installed and battery reset it was fixed except for tweaking the tps for my car - nistune It also disables the car when it fails no more then 2,000 rpm redline is available and that sucks bad
  21. yes Gtt , iphone no photo syndrome damn thingmaybe tomorrow i can take some and post up off pc , the grommet is buried back behind metal bracket thats screwed on in the corner
  22. Hidden Grommet in the corner near accelerator cable , brake cylinder corner you can use the accelerator cable loop on the shock tower to guide the wire around above the fuel filter Its tight which is why you need fish tape or something to bend and arc thru the hole you slit in it , comes out high above fuses inside the car and takes a while to get the path clear of pedals and fuses cover , dont try to rush it or it could be unsafe under your feet
  23. These dont meet australian conditions long term so be warned, they're is other tech ( cant say exactly what the weak spot is in public forum ) about these units that reduces functions Dont get me wrong These work but look elsewhere for long term or expensive cars you want to keep safe Other units even ebay ones are better or a few bucks more Installed wrong and they fail
  24. I have two 0 ga runs no problems.except near fuses panel inside , you have to really keep it clear of pedals and fuse box , remove seats and do it right it must be taped / tied down its big enough to wander , never pass thru metal without grommet ( it fits fine thru factory grommet ) spray silicone and fish tape or old ford antenna works well to guide it , cut the nose at a slant before fishing it make it easier it wont catch on everything , go under the rear seat metal frame by seatbelt but stay clear of those and enter boot carefully a few choices exist but try to cross factory wires at 90degree angles and engine bay do not cross shock tower and dont use the path the engine fusebox takes or noise will enter , fuse at battery alway it protects the car not the amp 0 ga will carry 300amps roughly max Grounds must be 0 on battery to frame And 0 ga on amp end too Parts , Gaffer or black duct tape Spray glue , spray the floor pan let sit for min then tape the wire down , just tape wont hold it in place And dont spray glue the wire too or you'll play hell to remove it if you need to later on zip ties fish tape or cut off ford antenna. Solid steel kind cut off ball and use the other side as handle solid connectors !! split loom to protect on some spots Grommets if you decide to drill ? Not required if you use factory grommets snap knife to slice grommet a bit Quality liquid electrical tape to seal grommet area if required or black rtv , if your careful you wont need it Spray silicone to make life easy Electrical tape to tape wire to fish tape Pass under all frames inside car away from seat bolts /slides and not in the middle of carpet or it will wear thru it or leave lumps Upgrade battery And all grounds to alternator / frame 4 ga battery to alternator fuse and alternator to fuse , ground alternator frame bracket to battery 4 ga easy done
  25. Air in lines Did you jack up the car and start it and turn wheels lock to lock a few times to prime it? Use jack stands loose hose ? Bad pump sucking air Water in oil Use lucas power steering oil conditioner works like magic on noisy pumps found at supercheap If your draining replace with lucas tranny oil if the car uses red tranny oil ? 19 bucks but works a treat and is thicker , works better in the heat and steering smoother
