http://www.extremeautoexpo.com.au/index.htm From site ; The team and I have been working hard on expanding the show this year, so I’m excited to announce the show is now in 3 pavilions. They consist of the Ridley Pavilion which is full of Elite Show Cars and Bikes, the Wayville Pavilion where all the action is , cool cars & bikes, heaps of Traders, prizes, a stage, bikini comp and dyno comp etc. (the dyno comp is also open to show n shine entrants on Sunday this year) and in the Goyder pavilion we see the return of the “Adelaide Hotrod Show “ & new for 2012 is the MGS Collectable Car Auction too. Saturday night the Zippel cruise finishes at Extreme where we’ll have a party with over 300 of Adelaide’s best American Muscle Cars and the Lincolns playing some cool tunes. Sunday there is our usual Show N Shine & for the first time ever we have driving events for the Entrants on the oval in our reasonably priced car. The 2012 show will be HUGE ! Make sure you check out this site for more details and updates as there is more to come. We hope to see you and the whole family at this year’s show on the 20th and 21st of October at the Adelaide Event and Exhibition Centre, Wayville , Ridley and Goyder Pavillion, Wayville.

Import Wreckers have a bunch cheap
-
Fix it with black kevlar , it wont break again or scuff off , then fit a thin rubber or teflon bottom to avoid scuffing the lip off all the time plastic or fiberglass same fix , if its glass you need to fix the crack , plastic - plastic weld it

Yeah agree if you had a fuel problem before sort that first clogged filter maybe simple ? Bad fuel ? you may just be lucky as hell and it didn't die ? blown head is easy compression test, leak down or bubbles in coolant oil in coolant or in combustion chamber Dont rip it down yet if it runs unless you hear horrible noises lol
-
The normal checks No spark No fuel No air In this case more then likely a head gasket at the least , those cars are " disposable junk" sorry to be so frank but even new they sucked and dependability was suss lots of lemons You know the engine cooked , might as well proceed to compression test it , but 99% sure its stuffed low oil and no water is fatal on alloy heads Not all sensors need water to register if they get hot enough it still pegs the needle without water if its mounted on engine block and not in hose , the boiling vapor can max it out or metal parts yank the plugs , do you know anyone with bore cam like stupid cheap sells ? Take a look inside the pistons , most likely scored the walls too or glazed the bores badly Best of luck but my guess its dead if driven a while pegged ?
-
Is that the dark green one ? Almost forest green ? I see it a lot A black no wing r34 And rock stock r34 in pewder silver no wing , silent as a new car Pearl white stag all in dinga past few days

Can You Put A Third Seat Belt In The Back Of Gtr
Carbon 34 replied to jbute's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Roof racks done!! Lol one kid wouldnt fit in mine they would kick me in the head i sit so far back lol -
How can you tell from that photo unless it was shot clear the fark out you wouldnt know ? they will without any doubt distort when turned up and eventually blow the cone past the voice coil gap by the air pressure firing into the underside In turn it frys the speaker , sometimes instant sometimes slow death depnding on the pressure wave , they do make soft foam inserts to stop it or you can make some easy enough Ive been doing this since before your birth prob so dont bother with your theory rants Mate

Rb25Det Neo Water Pump & Thermostat Replacement
Carbon 34 replied to R1maniac's topic in General Maintenance
Thats not how the cooling system works mate If you run the .9 factory one you run the risk of boiling over on the track days or super hot days in traffic , it was never designed for australian conditions !!! Which are way more severe then most places on the planet You can run the factory one but it should be replaced with new radiator anyway ( the radiator comes with a new 1.1 bar cap but horrible quality imo Most new caps run 1.1 to 1.5 including nismo caps , my nismo cap 1.3 bar and 52mm alloy radiator with n1 style pump and nismo thermostat with redline waterwetter and red heavy load organic coolant runs cool as hell on smoking hot days and the thing actually shows on laptop on the dyno the nismo stat opens sooner to let coolant cycle sooner , 3 blocks and the temp is up Grounding the coolant also helps oxidation from occuring , most failures are rust or oxidization issues caused by mixing coolant brands, tap water ( hard water) a gauge mount in the hose or a small gauge wire to ground extends the quality long term sounds weird but its documented to help ? -
Mine are done in black just be sure to clean them well and plastic pore prep , the paint runs easy on metals so beware . 34 have plastic and cloth bits It looks fine but its a bit weird feeling not that I use them for anything being tall they would completely block my view of the road anyway the led tv ones arent legal but look like a better option lol To recover them properly you need sewing machine or auto interior guy to do them
-
Nissans and tap water is a bad idea , nissan connections fail really easy once corrosion sets in Could be ten things , most likely coil pack harness Or injector harness, cas or tps , wouldnt be fuel pump unless it was a fluke could be afm as well Sometimes just letting it sit fixes it once it dry again ? my moms 120y engine block had a inch of grease on it but never faulted her, i drove it once and washed the grease off it never ran right again lol like a blanket of sludge haha you really have to use care or its trouble chasing corrosion

Use top coolant , never mix with tap water or another brand , Good time to do hoses as well as mentioned Belts as well alloy Radiators dont always fit perfect even name brand ones !! if your mounts have sagged on tranny, engine or radiator the shround might hit Or rub on frame rail If you havent done water pump and timing belt do it now to save the hassle if needed and $$ replace the radiator cap to 1.3 bar cap , to raise boil temp Buy redline waterwetter or motul cool and dump in before totally full up , it makes a dramatic difference Use aviation gasket sealer and factory parts or nismo items , the aviation gasket seals it the first time not tenth time , permatex brand , messy so dont get it on the car or your clothes the thermo is easy just put it in right side up lol expect rusty bolts and muck to come out of flush even on a well kept car Drain air , burp the bottom hose a few times before starting to get air out , , pull overflow out and use non kerosene based cleaner and a baby bottle brush inside to clean it replace hose to it while out as well and prefill to max it should suck some in the first few hot cold cycles then stablize at full , make sure you have heater on hot !! Or airpockets will fill head and heater core and destroy the head if bad enough !! buy all new hose clamps as well , makes life easy and on silione hoses the old ones cut in Check the coolant daily cold For a week then if its all good every fill up of fuel is a good time for a glance at it ? -
these are all generic , some plastic some wood trimmed in carpet or vinyl , some are for splits some for 6x9 or just to space speakers out and use the new speaker bolt pattern Skyline specific ones dont exist the car was JDM maybe in japan , 99% of shops make custom ones or sell you the ones above Most of these companies are usa based Depends on what your trying to mount and where ? Model of car etc, even generic split door pods fit the rear decks without cutting new holes?
-
Aeropro makes random spacers , DNA makes some a well , a lot of people make premade variois spacers Autobarn sells them And depending on location I'm sure a local shop would whip some up for you
-
Are you talking about the gasket deal? Nissan dealer item ? Or make your own from rubber ?
-
Muppet , pre 80's really , the crap was designed for ww2 aircraft rolls royce engines overheating speedflow is fine , cheaper and australian made , distributed by rocket who also sell earls from usa didnt mention mocal or other brands just earls is far from junk if used right And no i dont sell it but have used it for damn near 36 years Go back to playing angry birds
-
Haha really , earls is used by nearly every racing team , the fastest drag cars , F1 you name it It is also used on just about every jet aircraft in use , do you think airlines would use crap and let planes million dollar engines fail from oil lines Or military jets dropping out of the sky Earls is still made in USA not sourced in asia and rebranded they designed the braided ss line in 60's if it was crap do you think they would be around still?? all the oil coolers are pressure tested to 175psi and random line samples burst pressure tested to 350psi They cost a bunch because the stuff is good and wages in usa is more the china ? Product quality costs money . Nfi what your talking about

Making it myself , lol Guess I could make a few dozen
