  2. It does matter Abe, if its stuffed it will do exactly as described ( past experiences of a broken bearing)if its not aligned as Luke said it kills it to pull the case together with bolts ?? Another issue is the disks if one is installed backwards that can do some odd things as it eats its way thru the pressure plates but that makes a bucket load of noise and death to the clutch is rapid On 34 the braided hose goes into a little metal bleed /fitting deal and unless you hold it just right while bleeding it ,it puts the release point to close to the floor , not sure if the 33 has that as well about half way down from master cyl??
  3. Valve covers cough cough not all cars are OHC but all have valves in that spot :-) Unless you drive a flat head ford Let hear the this isn't usa talk haha but they came up with the car for the masses even if it was a ford
  4. The pilot bearing in the back of the crank is the wrong one or stuffed not allowing freespin( frozen up) Or pressure plates are locking up together the clutch runout is wrong , which hangs up the release bearing All require removal Or air pocket in slave cylinder braided nismo lines are a bugger first go round to get all the air out
  5. My gtt bonnet has another pair of holes ( no stud or nutsert)offset similar to that bracket ? No idea why you would need 4 bolts ?? That is a modified hinge Nissan would have made it one plate not welded
  6. Take it back and ask them ? Obvious fix ? Second 6-7,000 rpm in 3,4,5th gear is way way over the speed limit in oz ffs Take it to a track
  7. Sold thanks mate
  8. The trick to brushed is laminate in ss and flush cut router for counter tops Or painted the silver of your choice ( titanium silver rustolium from bunnings is njce )and drag a soft paint brush across it It takes some practice to get it nice but its easy enough The stainless texture painted matte black looks cool too Black stainless? so many options its your preference

The locks can be rekeyed easy Mangled plastics swapped out Door pounded back and resprayed if meeded Buy some door lock plates to make the area stronger Get alarm with battery lol Farking savages make the laws more serious !!

  12. Supercheap auto has bulk packs , orange larger size microfiber towels think it was 20 or 30 fpr 39 bucks when they go onsale , many years now and a few more packs and they still rock Just never put fabric softener or similar when yoi wash them or they streak like a bugger
  13. It might get 1 or 2 degrees hotter but if your feeling it its prob 10c hotter Blocked cat or your flooding it in poor mixtures making it hotter Autos run hotter anyway slip creates heat and in general the case is closer to the tunnel Its also hotter outside now? check the mixtures and cat and underside of car for heat damage? Flaking paint undercoat etc If thats normal insulate the floor and tunnel with a barrier or dynamat product its much nicer to drive that way . Mine is way cooler now and sounds solid Check your trans oil ? maybe low or needs changing , that would make it slightly hotter
  14. I was told it would work if rhe app works here but havent tested one yet
  15. Wrong the map is on the metal bracket screwed above the plug cover its like a black plastic deal Its the vacuum purge for the charcoal canister Mine broke when I breathed air on it lol They break damn easy so beware Then your idle goes nuts Bought one off a wreck for 5 bucks
  16. Port adelaide has to be the worse place to open a jap import biz , nobody goes near it for fear of defects and to get there car stolen for ram raids but I guess shipping containers cost less to go a few blocks When is someone going to turn villis into the garage cafe lol Best of luck fleabay has plenty of parts or they can be sourced easy
  17. Pretty sure he means you should buy local and be done with it not have to fix all the crap that doesn't work and end up paying more, no service. No warranty Buy local and support the industry jobs Chris ? Iphone 5 you can buy a lightning to 30 pin adapter mine is on the way to test ( damn apple and the non standard crap!! ) You will be cooked on the roadside if police see your video functions on in the drivers view and its damn unsafe distraction
  18. This is why AM works here , ( does anyone listen to it lol? ) Because of the bandwidth taken up by the sidebands, the range allocated for the band as a whole is usually about 5 kHz wider on either side. so with a proper antenna its fine The fm works because its based on 50khz freq spacing ( 50 goes into 100 and 200 so tuning works ) the side band modularion in the passband locks on to the two strongest signals of the 3 it see's and drops the weakest signal ( thats why you hear the station a few clicks over on either side of the main signal allotment ) RDS works on the sife bands and other tags for the station Its moot anyway who listens to the crap fm staions lol only so many times you can hear coldplay or justin butthead in hour and once is more then enough haha. Digital radio is here and only going to get better Internet radio as well But the outback users have to fall back on recorded music or truckers tunes haha
  19. Its hit or miss some do some dont Not software related , on some it cant find the satellites due to a chipset lockout( yes Australia uses US gps satellites and others like japan and france) Some radios use internal hardware , some use phone for gps? Phone would work if the radio software accepts it If that makes sense?? its hard to be sure without a test unit ???
  20. Long story short japan and a few other far east northern hemisphere countries use a different band spacing then the world and (different side bands ) hence the band expander used on jdm market radios Usa uses the same as oz
  21. When i asked a rep in LA he said most apps on the radio work but not pandora, xm sat radio if you buy the external module its north america only Gps is dountful some do most dont not tested on new models old ones dont work Mappjng is different Dvd region code on usa model is locked to region 4 so dvd wont play any but reg 4 disks ntsc format not pal Warranty Returns not accepted in most cases your getting close to 1k limit before import costs Otherwise its a nice unit:-)
  22. Sadly silver cars Never match up and it will stand out from a distance at best case
  23. That is screwed !! Dont reuse it also it looks like your getting oil ring blow by on number 3 the head might be useable ? If the melted alloy comes out and no cracks or deep gouges that cant be sorted
  24. Beware racing oil is designed to be raced on then dumped!! It doesn't have the proper blend for extended street use and could sludge up quickly All brands carry this disclaimer if you look deeper
  25. More or less All major car companies detuned cars for many years to comply with emissions 70-90's cars were bad Insurance - quoted power was much lower then actual power Fuel quality worldwide- tuned for the market to lowest quality in most cases Maintenance schedules- dependability if buyers didn't change the oils etc on schedule the motor etc would last beyond warranty , just !!! Old timers remember when cars would die just after warranty expires Hyundai and mitsu was notorious for it on E fuels All the jdm brands in the past agreeing to 206kw comes to mind US companies quoting low power for insurance regs or emissions targets A car you depend on should be tuned so you can trust it,, not jacked up to make tones of power at max revs on perfect fuel on cool days But one tuned for hot/ cold , fuel batches poor, etc That starts first click of the key Many cars on forums quest for max KW but loose function except track or dyno days Or torque for so you don't have to spin it up every little hill
