  1. That I can agree with Marko Pretty much done now Paul.. Just gotta clean a few things up when I get back from Perth in 2 weeks then its getting shipped to UE
  2. Thanks for the post Patrick. Your right the 83/75 is one of if not the best bang for buck turbo on the market. As you would have seen on my graph it did nose over a bit. My comments in your previous thread were as a comparison to my own results My new set up improvements consists of 2.9 stroker Raised compression to 9.1 Cleaned up head 260 cams with 11mm lift with a very aggressive fast opening lobe Ferrea valve train with duel valve springs to eliminate any possibility of valve float (a much better set up the the previous tomei gear I had, old springs had only 60 pound of seat pressure) Ceramic coated exhuast side. This combination will be a large improvement to response, but I'm also looking to really get the most out of this turbo by pushing it past 450rwkw Fingers crossed
  3. Will probably be putting Paul's OS gear set behind it once Paul gets his act together marko
  4. There woulda been a few results haha
  5. Stock box man lol see how long it lasts.. That was a trial fit dave.. All good now Paul eat a dick lol
  6. Dude sorry to burst your bubble, but you are not going to make 16psi by 3000rpm with an 83/74.. Especially with that size engine on that fuel. 3500rpm would be a good result for 16 pound in my opinion Though I do agree the 83/74 with the smaller turbo is your best option for power and response
  7. Yep, I noticed that kudos also supplies a longer after market stud for a few extra bucks.. Still a bit pricy though
  8. Yea I just blocked it off, fairly confident I don't need it. Cheers mate
  9. Go kudos. Those guys are great!
  10. Quaife front and rear diffs with a tightened transfer case and nismo tein plate.. Tbh man the thing looks really nice, I'd be tempted to leave it.. If and when you do modify it, try to keep it nice standard looking.. Don't go tearing it apart, especially the engine bay and interior
  11. Shouldn't really need to collect.. You can still buy everything from Nissan Japan relatively cheap enough
  12. So it been a while since I've bolted a 26 together. Pretty much got it all sorted except for this water outlet. It's the one that T's off the heater house outlet at the back of the engine From the schematic I can only assume its a water line to feed the stock heat exchanger, if it is then I can just block it off as I'm not using it anymore. Thanks
  13. Sweet cheers lads, I just used a steel spring washer in front of a steel flat washer. Used the flat because the stud hole in the manifold is a large diameter and I wasn't happy with how it sat with just the spring. Regardless I still managed to get an extra thread or two with this method. Those standard washers are thick as!
  14. Quick question, hopefully someone can answer this quickly for me as I wanna put the engine back in. I've just bolted up my exhaust manifold and the bolts don't thread 100% of the way into the stud The reason for this is that is the washers I'm using are like 8mm thick. Is it necessary to use such a thick washer or can I use something thinner like a stainless spring washer? Cheers
  15. Pretty sure the 32 differs from 33/34 Might wanna check that
  16. Hi guys, Bought a couple of genuine filters but they dont bolt to my greddy sandwich plate. Cost me $25 from Kudos motorsport Suit RB's Brand new - located Prestons Sydney- only chasing 15 bucks Pick up only PM or 0432528844 cheers
  17. Sweet thanks lads I ended up running brake clean though it as I have a big drum of it. Then blew it out with air and ran some clean oil all the way through it. New oil came out super clean too. Thanks for the help
  18. Righto so in about to put the engine back In the car and I want to clean out the old oil from the cooler. The oil isn't contaminated, just old What's the best solvent and way to clean it? I have brakeclean, carby clean, a parts cleaner tub.. But not sure of the safest and best way to do it. Any thoughts? Thanks
