  1. Hahaha that may step outside the cruise etiquette rules on page 1
  2. Haha I tried that in the work van, it fails... I just drove past the car wash in the terrace, 2 clean (pardon the pun) 32s in there... They looked slammed and then I realised they were in the dip in the wash bays
  3. Which do you prefer? Do you have a build thread etc? Interesting to hear the differences between the housings
  4. That turbo you have should be an animal... It'll give a good comparison between the 2 setups... Although the exhausts would be good If we had the same... You'll get your goal, I'm confident
  5. Awesome, I wanna see it now... Bringing a mate that loves 31's... Will be lots of spotting going on
  6. The more the merrier.... If she is born then good luck with it all
  7. Going down to get the car Monday mate so will definately be there 3 servos so far in the Newcastle area... Charlestown (that reminds me, better fill up on that meet up), Hamilton and i think Swansea.... Its good stuff! There isnt going to be a huge difference between the 2 i dont think mate, still more than i can handle lol
  8. Haha thanks mate.... It sounds alright Nope, the turbo was at its limit, pushing it harder just makes things unsafe, the tune revolved around reliability hence why i went to JEM Ill play with it is for a while then consider a 3082 down the track, lets see what Kurtis comes up with first no pressure champ lol
  9. Haha yeah that guy is on the forum here mate, its different! OT though, spotted a white 34 with white rims and a blondie driving it over near Lambton yesterday, Also spotted a nice silver R32 cruising along Old Punt rd here in Tomago
  10. Yeah there is 2 ways to do them, either remove the CV clean it and replace the boot OR use that yellow cone tools and actually fit the boot on the car, the old workshop i worked for had one but TBH if it cost $25 i would have paid someone to do it as its a greasy shi77y job
  11. In saying that Mitch i made the mistake of buying 550's and then had to buy 1000's later for E85, bigger isnt always a bad thing and the prices are similar, as long as they are decent injectors go nuts
  12. Yeah the rest of that email was pretty funny too -
  13. Wow, even with a free flowing exhaust mine would have been at best 3.7-3.8, TS makes a big difference
  14. Nope, no thread... Ill send him a link to this thread and if he posts up the results you will see for yourself... And Mark (SliverS2) have a look at the 300kw club and you will see the video of the dyno run mine had, i was pretty impressed! (wont link it here as i think most have seen it?)
  15. Yep, there is a guy on here now just tuned one on his 34 with twin gates etc... Not sure what the result is yet..... 360rwkw on my bottom end should be fine for a long while, it's a very safe tune... The 3037 was pretty much out of puff so we didn't push it any harder... In saying that Adam said I could opt for the 3082 if I got power hungry but 360 will be hard enough to put to the ground, any more than that is just wank factor I guess... Would have been nice to see what the GTX did in comparison as the turbo was the only limiting factor on my car
  16. Aftermarket pumps are noisy... I had a 34gtr pump and also had a walbro and both were loud, I now have an 044 and it's louder again... You can't tell what it is unless you pull it out and look OR ask the old owner
  17. Pretty sure FATZ said they are helpful with the noise issue and aren't strict on it... Sounds to me they would rather help you get quiet rather than not let you out.... I could be wrong but that's the impression I got
  18. 98 on low boost was only 311rwkw I think... Was about 17-18psi I think... E85 made more than that on 15psi
  19. Awesome to see the the group working together we have a good thing going.... Car has had its final tunes today, has been set on - 311rwkw on pump 98 low boost 340rwkw on E flex low boost 357rwkw on E flex high boost These were all tuned for safety and reliability and show the turbo is out of puff...
  20. I'm still an ape But this is my first RB powered car and i am happy to keep it for a long time, fingers crossed i can post in this thread for a long while yet reporting it has survived! I LOVED the sound of that setup, it was intoxicating, was a sad day at the Creek when you reported that failure Thanks for answering my painful PM's whilst i was making cam choices, it was hard to find someone with first hand experience. The other 34 JEM did ran 345rwkw on the same boost but had a straight through exhaust so i think it shows that the cams helped peak HP as well as the setups were damn close to identical apart from cams. The car has just gone through the complete flex tune and is now running on 98 i believe... I should probably have dyno sheets soon... Cheers guys!
  21. This!! I researched the tuner before the build, best choice i have ever made!
  22. Maybe when i man up and learn to drive it Should be awesome fun though!
  23. Sounds like good times ahead Jarrad, congrats on the place btw
