  1. Hey Guys, I now have the car driving on the street, the tune is amazing (just as i suspected), it can be driven just like it was with the high flow before, its so smooth and quiet. Even with all of the solid suspension and Nismo diff its dead quiet (well apart from car parks)... I have already had 2 randoms comment on the look and sound of the car which is always a good thing knowing others appreciate the money, time and effort involved. Ill have too get some pics of the wiring etc done by Adam, he has done an amazing job and has taken the time to follow my stealth theme all the way through, the car is better than i expected in most ways and i am so glad to be driving it again. The HKS boost controller has an intermittant issue but will sort that out as soon as i can. Here are a couple of random pics from the drive home - I am looking forward to enjoying the car for a while but this will be FAR from finished, i am looking forward to a few future mods and i am sure it will be back with the boys at JEM soon enough. I strongly recommend JEM for any modifcations or tuning, the quality or work and service speaks for itself - Just Engine Management PTY LTD 2/2 Noonan Road Ingleburn NSW 2565 Sydney, Australia P: (02) 9618 600 I will post more updates soon of the tidy up (plastic splashguards, when i fetch them from JEM), wheel caps and some interior gadgets, tyres and gauges are also on the list... Ill also get some vids of the car in action at Texi and Marulan but sadly no gate due to noise restrictions Enjoy the update, more to come soon! Cheers, Mat And just for those who missed it, get some of this into ya -
  2. I can get you a driver for the S15 if you want.... He is actually an S15 driver anyway but some fool P plater slammed into him so its in the panel shop for another 6 weeks!
  3. I have done all my suspension but i think its a bit stiff in the rear, i also have the Nismo 1.5 way (amazing diff), i guess a decent set of tyres should do the trick by the sounds of it!
  4. Butt plugs all round eh? Lol.... What are you guys planning? Staying down that way etc?
  5. Your hurting my brain On topic and on the most recent topic, who is using cheap YET grippy tyres on their 300+ machines, I'm talking RSR, 123s, Ku36 etc.... I dunno which one to get, I'm a bit broke after the whole build and need a temporary solution
  6. I like your thinking.... I am sick of the "moar low" and "needs spacers" comments.... Needs good rubber and some driving ability and that's it!!! I like function over form
  7. I have no idea what Texi is, I'm just going out to have fun and make an ass of myself The events are under NSW then events, has all the cruises, dinners, races, Texi etc etc.... It's a whole lot of awesome
  8. Good call! I normally run decent 265s but the dyno date come up fast and all I had was some 235s so I am sure a nice soft 265 will help I don't like stretch, or stance etc... My car is legal height and quiet az... I just have crap rubber at the moment and it's makes 300+ unusable, yet sooooo amusing! Never felt anything like it! JEM put so many safety measures in place too so I can be confident with the car (unlike my last idiot that tuned the car and is now going out of business........ Well I think and hope)...
  9. Haha thanks guys (pezhead, fatz) the car is currently at 325-330 and is nuts... If I have to plumb back the gate I reckon the power will be 320ish and the tyres will be MUCH better so should be ok
  10. The gt30 sounds awesome! My 3037 sounds nuts
  11. No screamer = no power for me, but still gunna go Texi and make an ass of myself... Jut enter your car and drive to whatever limit you feel? You don't have to drift or do skids, just enjoy and learn your car
  12. 3rd fries too... So no good... And I am only at E54 on low boost... So if it's frying now it's only going to get better :Pl
  13. It's track, straight through, side pipe..... Go nuts!!
  14. I can't at the moment as I can't "get through gears" With some better rubber and a "private road" I may be able too, at the moment it just snaps onto boost and overpowers the crap tyres... It's a laugh
  15. I'll probably drop another NEO in of mine goes pop but it's tuned safe so will see how long it holds up
  16. i normally do run them but had crap tyres on for the dyno and for the diff to bed it, but will get some RSR's or something very soon as its pretty useless.... Good for the lolz! BUT it also restricts me from being silly on the road and with the car being so nice to cruise in i am happy as it is..... Will show you guys
  17. Chick that served me at Maccas this morning = "I love your car" She was probably 18............ Officer So with that established, no-one cares how much fuel you consume, how much traction you have, its all about the bitchezz? On another note, SO happy with the car!
  18. Wow Bobby, The updates have been awesome.... Ill definitely keep an eye on this now i know your getting close! This will be an amazing creation!
  19. ^ Good advice!! What brand are your tyres? Most cheap hard tyres take a lot of punishment before wearing (hence why they grip like crap anyway lol)...
  20. Yeah I'm a bit worried about that... It comes onto boost so strong, it's just gate and wheelspin if you plant it...
  21. Yep, Texi will let you enjoy the car and try slide it... I think sliding is possible but drift would be pretty hard in an Auto and without power etc... But by all means come out and have a crack
  22. Picked up the car today, I can't believe how good the car feels with 300+ kw, it's now feeling like a skyline should am still on low boost and up to E49 fuel, so 325rwkw roughly I think... NO traction in first few gears but it's SO nice to drive.... Boys have done an amazing job!! Can't wait to try high boost 4 the lolz Will post a dyno sheet later... For now I'll be enjoying learning the new found power... Massive smiles though
  23. Looks like my FFP piping kit, it was cheaper and easier to weld the adapter than it was to source the flange for the stock on, and my stock one leaked... So there is occasionally a reason to change them Mr no BOV man!!
  24. Just picked up my car today, Marulan is going to be so much fun with the new found power... Wow... Hope I can avoid spins like mentioned above
  25. If it is pouring rain, my driving ability will be limited... Picked the car up on low boost and E30 fuel and still getting wheelspin through to 3rd in the dry, I'm not looking forward to rain
