  1. http://www.fullboost.com.au/news.php?newsId=1401 But thats a damn cool cop car!!!
  2. Because they give you a free windscreen every year instead
  3. Well seat of the pants its def got more power. I had it out at a track day 2 weeks ago and it held up fine, and I wasnt babying the car. They are 63% or something bigger than an R33 one, which is bigger than an R32 cooler. If you are just going for a standard turbo or even a highflow its probably the way to go. At least to keep costs down. All you would need to get is the cooler, and standard ceffy cooler pipes.
  4. I know there is no warning up, but going by the thunder, lighting and rain thats at my place atm, Id say there is a bit of a decent storm coming over. Around the browns plains area. Could be fairly full on. Not much wind tho.
  5. Really their time could be better used to reduce the suicide rate. Im sure thats much higher than the road toll.
  6. Not sure what your running dude, but I've got an R34 stocko sidemount, and it bolts up. Like actually bolts up unlike in an R32 where you have to change stuff. I found it helped heaps. Just another option. Definately cheaper.
  7. I went out there with SDT the guys we did a few skidpan days with at mt cotton. I do some work for them as well so that helps. Its more of a training day thing, not so much track time. Like you get 2hours or so doing just laps.
  8. Dude just pay the money and get it done properly. Just think, if air can get through. So will water.
  9. I've also had the ECB red stuff recomended, along with a halk pad, cant remember which one? So lets throw them in there too. From what I have found they are all about the same level. With maybe the DS2500 being a bit more track friendly than street friendly.
  10. They are obviously for clips, so Im running with light weight.
  11. Its a 99% street car, rarely sees over 3500rpm Just when I do get up it, I want to know its all going to work.
  12. I reckon I could smash these people and their 'safe' driving. I bet their seating position, mirror position, steering wheel position, hand position on the steering wheel is wrong. Im sure their visiblity is crap due to the cameras and stuff. I would think they could afford better tyres than what they have. Tyre pressures are probably wrong too. And as Josh has already pointed out they dont have proper tail lights on one of the vehicles the accociate with... Which isnt safe anyway, because Im sure big tyres arent exactly the best for the road. Great off road tho... What a joke.
  13. I gotta say, Id also report some freaky barstard out the front of my house with a camera sitting in their car for 3hours!
  14. I might give them a call and let them know prevention is better than stalking. Maybe they should train drivers... Make a driver training facility up there... But yeah, thats gold. "hoon removal kit" http://www.roadsidewatch.com/use/server.php?page_id=4208
  15. Do some serious cost checking before you go ahead and do it. The RB25 box conversion might be worth it. I know you have the argment of its a rebuilt box you know whats in it. But... Its still an rb20 box. Just look in to it is all Im saying. If its $500 or so more, for the RB25 box, Id go with it.
  16. I skimboard up there! Id better look out!
  17. The point of compairing to the RB74s is I know what they are like.
  18. And of that 25% probably 2% is an actual accident caused by the type of dangerous driving this person is trying to target. But damn they must be pissed off about drifters to pay that sort of money. I mean give them 5mins normally they would right themselfs off. LoL and its still a hotmail address. I cant take any job ad seriously that has a hotmail address. Sounds like a job for Magnum P.I.!!!
  19. Hi all. Did my normal search, yes I know how to use it properly. Real quick and easy question which only some people will be able to answer. With cold braking, how bad (or good) are the DS2500s in compairson to the RB74s? I've previously had RB74s and didnt really have a problem with them cold. I just had to remember to stand on the brakes at the end of my street, after that they were fine. From what I have found out, the DS2500s are a better pad for everything else. Just cold braking... So really all Im asking is. If you have had RB74s and DS2500s in your car, for cold braking which was worse or better. Thanks.
  20. Yeah, everything else is done other than engine stuff really. Already got SK suspension gear on there etc. I might do the dump and leave it at that. I'll also see what my mates going to charge me for the ebc. If its $100 or so its probably worth it. and avcrs ask for your windows to be broken for a smash and grab
  21. Yeah, so the answer to the question is no it doesnt bring boost on earlier. Its a stock turbo, its goes from 0-11psi pretty quickly. So without starting a new topic. Given the mods I have, and the little money I want to spend (better brakes, and semi slicks will be money better spent to get going faster...) what would be the best bang for buck to bring boost on a bit sooner.
  22. Really tho. He sold the gtr for a reason to buy the evo. He needs to ask himself what that reason was. If it was 4 doors and a boot, then the gtr is a stupid option. If it was he just didnt like the gtr as much as the evo, same deal, buying a newer one wont change that.
  23. Out at Morgan Park raceway. Its quite fun out there. Just some of the concrete walls are rather close to the edge of the road... Its not too bad tho, just a bit of a worry with power off oversteer.
  24. Thanks for the replys. I should have pointed out its building boost ok. Just if it could be a bit better it would be nice. PaulR33, i think that HKS EVC II is exactly what my mate has, it rings a bell.
