I think its like a few other sports too. If you dont get any training you get to a point and you cant get better, simply because you dont know what your doing right, or what your doing wrong. And when your at that point it can get very frustrating.

Just one quick one with the browns plains dump. Its 20L maximum per day of oil they will take for nothing. Anything over that they charge you a per litre rate. But to get to the bit where you dump that off I think is only 2 speed bumps now, and its all asphalt. You'll be right.

Yeah I gotta say door to door racing you kind of really need a dedicated car for that, but then I guess you should with drifting if you look at it that way, and not a whole lot of people worry about that too much. Thats the other thing, thats really all you see at drift meets is imports, its kind of where the interest is for more people. Dont ask me why I cant explain the sport too well. The other big one is cost, its not always all that cheap, at least not to be competitive, which is really the whole point of competition. Otherwise your just better off going out to a track day where all you are racing is the clock, or a t'n't which is the same deal, you are just racing the clock. Which is were you would see larger numbers. That and sure as heck there are a few highway racers and show ponies amoung the skyline crowd, and imports in general.

I guess its fairly normal. Try new plugs first see if it helps. If not then get your injectors cleaned see if that works. I've just got my injectors done and its a fair bit better. Yet to see if there are any improvements in fuel economy yet tho.

So they just dont realise all the stuff they need to do to be a good driver. Its just pure luck they havent had serious accos. I mean how many mums and dads get done drink driving, talking on the phone, etc etc. Thats the problem.

Im guessing its fouling the plugs. Given you changed them it works, then a bit later it doesnt work and sounds like an outboard... Maybe change them again, if it then works, dont drive it until you can take it somewhere?

Yes yes they do. I just had them installed on my car. Your best bet will be to contact Sydney Kid about them. He has a special verison made up which gives a little more adjustment, and more importantly isnt at the noltec rrp, because you will fall over when you hear that price assuming someone in the trade cant get them for you.

Hmmm. They do have repeats of the show on for those that missed it. But as always they instantly get on to the 'advanced' driving courses and forget they are a thing of the past for young drivers. A lot of the driver training companys have a course for L & P platers. Those courses dont teach anything about skid control, its all very positive. You get to the pratical bits you put them out of their comfort zone a bit, most people do get something out of the day. As they were going on about what they would like to be taught or learnt is not getting in to the situation in the first place. Which is the defensive driving, which we teach. But we also teach how to get out of the situation if you do stuff up, because we are human, and mistakes will happen. I think some of them are too much in this sientific world to think of that. They think in stats, and think if you add this stat to that stat the problem goes away... But yeah, not one of their best debates...

If your getting a surge tank, at least get a decent sized one, something 1L or so isnt really all that much worth it. Its like getting a 1000L water tank, its pointless. Get something decent, its not going to cost you that much more, and bigger shinny stuff is cool.

No offence here hey. But its a skyline forum, Id say a good 70% or so of members have rb25s, what do you expect to come up? Its a big forum! You need to search more specifically. Say just in the 'forced induction section' then say you want information on FMIC then you just search that. Then you want some information on turbos, just search that. All I can say is you be a mod for a while. Each forum has their rules set, and the mods should follow them with a bit of discresion, which I think is shown on this forum. Then there is say a boostcruising, which constantly gets bagged out. Why???
