  1. Well from back in the day Im sure all the fastest cars were all skylines and supras, with the odd sleeper thrown in for good luck. And they were out every thursday and saturday night without fail. Basically what Im saying is dont target just one group, as it just isnt one group making all the noise and creating the problem.
  2. Leave it unlocked and sleep in the back seat of the car with a bit of wire handy?
  3. Look on the bright side, at least you werent in a middle of an R33 gearbox conversion to find out the clutch was dead, then to find out the flywheel also needed replacing. Theres always someone worse off than you dude Keep that in mind, it might make you feel better
  4. Thats it. I've got every single mod I could think of on my shannons modifications list. The guy stopped me reading them out and just asked me to email it through as it was taking him ages to type it all out, so its not like its a short list. And well, as mentioned if its not there you wont get a replacement, and if they find out they will do their best to not pay out.
  5. Because at a guess a 25yo with a house and a lambo is a lot more attractive than a 25yo with no car and a deposit for a house? But yeah, back on topic. Your going to have to go with justcars until your about 21. Its benificial to have the full comp insurance if you can. As it should save you money later down the track.
  6. Just cars do, do rating 1 after 3 years. Even with just 3rd party. Kinda odd but hey. But dude, if you can afford a $30k car easily, I have to say your stupid to be spending it on that. Buy a house while they are still remotely affordable! Sell it in 5 years and buy a lambo!
  7. Look on the bright side. Someone could have picked up the keys and stolen the car. Backing out you could have run over your pet cat/dog, and still smashed your light. And you could have been hit by that semi you mentioned. See, so life aint that bad after all! Being serious tho, glad your ok. Just think hit up the bum at least its not your fault, that gets fixed no out of pocket for you.
  8. Well what I would do then, is get a list of cars you might want, with a list of expected mods on them (ie exaust, cooler, filter etc) ring up justcars and get them to quote them all up. At least that way you will have a rough idea on where you stand.
  9. *mins silence* Anyway, Erin showed me pics of your kid today. God damn man, what are you feeding him!
  10. So whats the go exactly? Do you need to book in or something, or just rock up get some info and hoon around a track for a bit? BTW I also live in the browns plains area, I got the cef so if it turns out Im free on the day Im happy to car pool a bit, save money and save the environment!
  11. You got fleeced...
  12. They arent too bad if you dont put too much through them... Out of interest, how long have you had the r34 for insured thru justcars? And how old are you? (I cant be stuffed reading tonite to find out if its already been said)
  13. As has probably already been said in here its been around for a good 6 months or so. It is quite harsh. I think it should be more so if you have lost your licence already, got it back maybe have the double demerits in that first 12 months of having the licence back. Or 50% more points taken off or something. Also if it hasnt already been said. It is if you get caught 20kmh or over x2 in a 12 month period its double points the 2nd time. So really you could get caught at 19kmh and be fine (pardon the pun). It still doesnt sit 100% right with me as I feel the best speed is the speed the majority of the other cars are doing. ie M1 everyone is doing 130kmh, thats what Im going to do, like wise if everyone on the M1 is doing 90kmh, thats what Im going to do. As thats the safest speed to do. Its with the flow of the traffic, your not creating a diversion for anyone, and your not having to swerve all over the place to go around people. But hey, thats just logical. Anyway. I think the best thing for you to do is take the good behaviour bond. Then on the off chance you then loose that you appeal the licence suspension. If your lucky it wont get to that stage. See if you just go for the suspension now that it done and dusted. Just my oppinion tho. The other unfortate thing is your going to have to tell your insurance company, if you have an acco and they find out good chance you wont get any money off them. Once again its just a band-aid by the Govt as they do not want to spend the money to train people how to drive. We could look at it like giving a gun to some one in the army and going, thats the trigger, can you pull that *bang* yes you can now opperate a gun, off to war with you. As its basically the same thing, giving somone a loaded weapon without teaching them how to use it properly.

    Wtf

You just need to come across right, like you were looking at getting thier company to do something for you, which involved a lot of money, but now because of that experience you will go else where rah rah rah. Just stir them up a bit.
  15. Just read the fine print on the old justcars thing with the $5k hey. Once you pay your premium, and the excess then you get your $5k. But justcars keep your car if its recovered, and the rego on it. Sure you might have first option to buy it back, but my guess thats going to cost more than what justcars give you. Its not a good deal. With the safe driver thing. About 80% of drivers reckon they are an above average driver, do the maths on that. I've never seen you drive so I cant comment either way. Just putting it out there most drivers think they are a whole lot better than they really are. That said a defencive driving course does nothing to reduce your justcars premium. So I think maybe spend $10k (which will still get you something quite nice) and keep the rest for proper insurance. Maybe look at a s13 or something?
  16. Dude, its not the 's'. You are spelling the whole word wrong. If it was a big crazy word that has nothing to do with cars and you would use twice in your life fair enough. But its brakes. Let me try again. BRAKES (read, say it, spell it out it b-r-a-k-e-s) are the round bits and the calipers that stop your car. BREAKS (read it, say it spell it out b-r-e-a-k-s) is like a lunch break, a bone break, etc. NOTHING to do with stopping a car. So many people on here stuff it up, as I said dude, I am not picking on just you here! (that or you got me hook line and sinker)
  17. What to kill everyone under 25? Or have they fixed the railway down there now so trains stop crashing?
  18. Dude, you missed the point. You cant spell!
  19. So all these little kiddies are going to be driving with their head frimly planted in front of their speedo, and not on the road. Well done.
  20. Not picking on you exclusivly here dude, but... This is a car site, so I think this needs to be addressed, to everyone who makes this mistake read the below. Brakes is what stops your car. If your brakes dont work, you break your car. So lets go over that again. On a car its Brake. In music is breaks.
  21. Missed one MAJOR thing off that list dude. BRAKES!!!
  22. Much like a strawberry stuck up my bare arse I would imagion. That said Im sure someone has done it.
  23. Yeah dude, everyone brake checks at least once just to let the person know, 'hey your a tad close'. If he hit the brakes too hard to suit the conditions then thats on his head. Better he does that than rams you up the arse in to the back of a truck.
  24. What like the influx of cefiros? I get no attention what so ever.
  25. Im going fantastic. Bought a $3500 bed for $1480! Delivered! What a bargin.
