  1. I tell you what Dave. In 60years or so, I'll lose my licence, then go get my Ps again and do that just for you. It should be good! Really tho. It news, its no longer to inform the public of whats going on, its to make money. We have a bad name, we are always going to have a bad name. Just wait till your old, and you have cars hooning around everywhere. Just as you are stereotyping a commodoor its going to be the same for us. Which btw up here at least if a commo with a younger person driving, it gets called a modified commodor, as they always are.
  2. Just asking the question as the car is paid off in the next fortnight so its time to look at what to do next. How does it go for RB20s? I would be guessing same as NEO RB25s? Then what if I wanted an RB25 turbo for the extra size? Could I do that?
  3. God damn the amount of OT stuff in here, anyone would think its whoretown!
  4. Well there is two. That and go look at Sydney Kids thread in the sticky section of this forum thing. Suspension 101 or something. Dont buy the tiens.
  5. Thanks for the pics man. That might work by the looks of it. Maybe if someone near you has a front bar like mine, just whip it off to check?
  6. What brand are they? Id still say no, I had mine rebuilt once, then 3 died within 18months. And that was from a company that was highly recomened by a number of people...
  7. I have the same problem. There is a place up here in Brisbane that are called Wheel Revolutions that are making mine up. Machining them to suit the hub and wheel basically, so they WILL fit and sit right. They arent bolt on just slip on, but are hub centric. I have had got longer wheel studs tho, and they did check that before asking any more questions. So maybe give them a try, or someone like that down your way. They also said they could do 8mm ones, so I guess its 2mm less but hey. Id say its an option.
  8. Do we really need all subforum this subforum that stuff? My oppinion. I just think this stuff all tends to get lost if you break it down too much.
  9. Best tyre front. Not much good having grip in the rear if you can point it in the right direction, or stop it for that matter.
  10. Go #1. But spend a bit more on the stereo, $2k for install. BTW does your $12k include the sale of the pug? If not go this option, keep that as a daily, do a desiel conversion or something. Then spend allll of your money on motor
  11. Josh, wtf did you do that for.
  12. SK, spacers would only be an issue with the wider guards and trying to fill them out tho yeah? Otherwise as long as they have the little hub thing on the spacer they would be ok?
  13. Ooooh the fancy stuff aye $3! That or you go jibbed on $2 export paint.
  14. Doesnt one of the guys on here do one for $100 or something?
  15. That is correct, so the way to do it properly is to have a proper plumbed back oil catch can system. So all that is venting is normal air that went in in the first place. Point is, if you have a proper engineers cert with you the cops will probably leave you alone as its too much hassle for them. If they do book you, with a REALLY good lawyer you could twist it back around on them and try and get themselfs charged with wasting police time and tax payers money, as you proved to them before receiving the ticket it was engineered. If you had the money it would be worth a laugh anyway.
  16. Cryus, its a boot mate. And with the added weight, and electronics you need that there rb25, to both lug it round and keep the alternator spinning at a decent rate
  17. Dude, it just isnt a door. Im sorry. You can use the twin sunroof thing, but the 5th door doesnt cut it.
  18. You got a pic of the front bar? Just mine doesnt taper off as it gets to the wheel arch like that one does. I would probably prefer that one tho.
  19. I cant really do bugger all with it. I've asked the question on how to do stuff but to no reply.
  20. Uncommon. (btw I dont call seeing 1 cefiro 3 years ago and now having seen 20 in your entire life classify as 'everywhere' as some people seem to think is the case) Good suspension options Street cred Nice and tough looking, with big kits or basic external mods I have one gf doesnt like 4 doors so never wants to drive it no cop issues less twits driving them (as skylines become more common and cheaper unfortuneatly more twat heads are buying them) very few cefiro haters If I could keep my eyes open this would just keep going Easy to install stereos in to I own one Downsides tho... RB20, RB20 gearbox, Old, any cefiro only part is almost imposible to get, I own one, s13 suspension, front struts sit way too far back to get really good handleing.
  21. Its not that simple though. More load= more exaust gas = less lag. Im not going to bother with the argument, my car is better because of it.
  22. I did actually find my car was easier to drive, had less right off the line ie up to 2000rpm, but after that it was better boost came on quicker etc. That said I didnt have a billet steel light weight flywheel before hand. I had some super dooper crazy jun lightweight thing made out of some exotic metals from jupiter which was extreamly light, so maybe that was the difference. Either way a few of my mates went to heavier than standard, or back to standard to gain speed and reduce lag, it worked. Its that simple.
  23. Did you have cheeze and bread crumbs on top of the macoroni cheeze? Cause man, that seriously makes the difference, and bacon, you NEED bacon.
  24. Whooo happy birthday dude. 30 aye, old ages creaps up on all of us.
